"Well i just made a check, all the guards are long gone. That or their really good hiders." Falco was kind of surprised at what everyone was saying. All of them had been hurt in some way, except for him, he had stayed behind providing support. "If everyone here keeps attacking the guards head on like that, they wont live very much longer." Falco just pushed the thought aside, it wouldn't be his problem anymore once the day was up. "Any of you have arrows on hand, I seem to be running low."

As Tateen walked pasted she said, "Sorry birdboy, guess you'll have to make your own. Though if i remember correctly there is a good patch of saplings you can use about 15 min. run from here. My..dad use to use them... before." Looking away, she paused for just a second, then was gone in a rustle of leaves.

((Aaw, they took my freakin' kidney!"-quote by Charlie the unicorn.)) Rook looked up again. It seemed to have been several hours after the battle, as the sun was slowly sinking in the distance. Immediately he raised his hand to his eyes, but luckily the shadow of a tree he was under protected him. He looked around at the battle carnage in the forest.

"Can we go now?" Tateen whined. The batboy was in so bad a shape that they couldn't move him till the doc was done, and even then batboy had to stay still for a while after that. Tateen was lounging against against a tree as far as she could from the majority of the blood. "All this blood is making me hungry and the fact that it's human blood is making me sick."

OOC: this smells like lot of traveling boredom like we had in EB, i really had enough there xD
"And leave them here? You go if you want to, i am staying until the guy is safe." said Hydrax pointing at Rook. "I have already helped myself out of worse situations. The borders are that way, but avoid the capital." she said, pointing the direction.

"I just meant relocate. My den is a little while that way." Tateen sighed, thumbing over her shoulder. "Though it may take longer if we have to slow down for with him."
(That's because we never really had a plot in EB. we had the disease but no main antagonist.)

OOC: I have a idea! you know the country that is safe for anima? well since the other two despise anima they then also dispise the lone country for harboring for the "creatures". So the two countries ally themselves against the lone country. It's a losing battle for the harbor country so they turn to the only part of their population that can save them/give them a edge: the anima. with their ability's the lone country may JUST stand a chance. That is, if the anima agree...)

Ingrim nodded along. "I will head for a safe town. The boy needs rest, and I'd like to get him another kidney before that wound closes up again." he said, picking up the sledge-stretcher and gazing into the forest beyond, jumping vision from crow to crow. "You wouldn't care to travel together, would you?" he asked anxiously. "I'm hardly capable of defending myself against guards, especially not with a half-conscious patient.. The guards won't recognize me on sight, at least, all us doctors look the same." Ingrim laughed drily.

Sighing Tateen said, "I'll tag along to help, but there is no way I'm going into the city."

"that brings up a good point, you should really learn how to make arrows so you dont have to keep buying them. Oh well, right now just go with what you have." Falco walked up to the doctor. "Any assistance you need ill be happy to help, for the time being." He said that last part a bit quieter.

"Do we have better choices?" shrugged Hydrax. "Lead the way." she said and picked up her sword, placing it to her belt slot. "Not that i didn't have better plans but situation changed."

"Thank you! Thank you" Ingrim exclaimed and opened his arms as if to hug the lot of them, then thought better of it and dropped his arms awkwardly. "Well then..." He hefted the sled and dragged it to the meandering path just a few yards away. "Off we go.."

For the first few days of the week long travel to the outskirts of the boarder, the company had to make multiple detours to avoid the parties of soldiers still searching for them. Finally the trees thinned and they neared the exit of the forest. "Well, what now." Tateen asked to no one in general.

After the first day of travel, Falco left the group as he had said he would. But before he left he warned the group not to trust him, they had lucked out meeting him under good terms this time, but his employers weren't always wanting him to help anima.
Now in the current time, Falco's warning was in fact very good advise. A hunter for the guard found out about Falco and how he helped the anima, and knowing who he was, hired him off the spot. Now with a full quiver of arrows, knowledge of where his "friends" were, and a pocket full of good, Falco lead the hunter and his battalion of guards to the anima.
(OOC: Here you go, a little challenge for you guys in the future. Just remember, this may happen a lot, NEVER TRUST A BOUNTY HUNTER.)

Ingrim turned away from the window where he had been surveying the small border town's outskirts. What with all the guards they'd had to dodge getting here, Ingrim was starting to feel very grateful to his little talent. He blinked as his vision returned to the musty room of the local clinic. "I think we may have a problem." he said, turning to the others. "Do you see that cloud of dust on the horizon?" Though it was a little paranoid to assume the guards had found them this quickly, Ingrim couldn't help but think... "Rook?" he asked. He'd managed to replace the punctured kidney quickly after their arrival. He wondered when the boy would wake up.
