The Disease

"Ya think?" said Fireheart ironically and re-estabilished mental link with Gorn, allowing him to see all the snow around. "Somehow i don't think so." he continued his irronical voice as his jaws started to shake again. "Five years in Fire fortress and 15 in isolation on warm coast. I hate temperatures below 15°C" he complained and started to rub his hands in order to warm them. Then he went to the cave and saw the situation. He did the math what happend. "Oh my..." he breathed out and the lost his words. But his mind worked faster and he stopped breathing and created same barrier as when they visited Ivy around everyone's nose. Then he heard a thud and familiar howls. He jumped out of the cave and crouched in battle position. To his surprise, he saw a dragon instead of wolf. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" he asked, but noted that the other one feels the same way. He stood normally and tried to look as much harmless as he could If he can't speak this can be hard.

"Um whats going. what are you guys doing in there....." He turned to wolf. "I remember your growling, but this isn't a good time, somethings going on and i have no idea what." He turned ignoring the wolf. "Guys whats going on......Your energy level is low." He said pointing to star. "What happened?"

Wolf saw that the dragons had gone into a cave-like shelter, although it was not in a mountainside. Puzzled, and curious, Wolf went to go inspect this new object. Sniffing around it, he caught the scent of that disease inside the thing and yelped. Wolf did not get diseases, EVER, but he did not like them all the same. His gold and blue eyes flashed, his emotions mixed between curious and furious. He entered the thing, and some of the dragons said something to him that he did not understand. Pricking his ears, Wolf howled and yelled in the wolf language (only Gorn can understand this, sorry but no one else can) "Where have you brought me? And why do you not burn those who carry the Death disease?"

"Lok died." She cried not moving. "He was fine yesterday, then he said he felt weak today. Then he started to spazim and fell in a black out. I brought him in here and the next thing I know is that he's not breathing and he's cold. I don't know how long ago that was. I-i d-d-don't kn-know what hap-p-pened." Starlight choked out. Dinara slunk over to her dads head and started to muzzle him, as if trying to wake him up, tears slipping down her face as she silently cried. When Starlight heard the howl she wiped around and snarled, wings opened wide as if to protect Lok's body. Her fear was well put because some dragons are known to eat other dragons and she wasn't about to take that chance with a stranger.

Fireheart was puzzled as the strange dragon just walked around him. He shook his head and turned: "Hey! Don't ignore me." What have i done to deserve this. He watched the new guy closely and was ready to attack, but instead the dragon just barked more nonsense. Fireheart was just thinking about banging his head again to find out if it isn't just another crazy dream, but then he probed his mind and powers and just stood there stunned. "Time?" he just whispered. He heard Starlight and that only confirmed what he was thinking. Still he felt uncomfortable with nobody noticing there is one extra dragon in the cave.

Wolf couldn't understand why the dragons couldn't understand his language, he was part dragon. Then he realized he looked like a wolf with furry wings and a dragon-like head and claws. The rest of him looked like a wolf's, and he was the smallest too. Barking out, he said, "What are you saying? Can't you understand me? Why do you not burn the bodies? If you give that one deathsmoke, the female will live?" Wolf howled. One of the dragons turned and said something to him, again which he could not understand.

"If there is someone else in here your right. i cant see his energy , that means hes dead." He turned to wolf. "Wait...my dad learned lots of languages when he traveled and told me some of them...i think i know what your saying." Gorn tried to speak the language. (dark only) "If you understand me then listen carefully. Are you trying to tell me to burn the dead guy?"

Fireheart felt lost and useless, but then he remembered and took out his comunication crystal. He walked out of the cave to not disturb the mourning family. When he was far enough, he linked To Ivy and Sharon and explained to the what happend with everything Starlight told the of the symptoms. "Nothing about a stomachache like you were saying, that brings me at least some relief, because we have some strange sort of dragon here and he behaves like this is what we are searching for. though i don't really know how much can we trust this source." he sighed "Poor famil. Why must this happen to THEM."

Ivy spoke through the connection, "Maybe it's some some one who they once knew, like some one who was once part of the refugee camp? or maybe it's some one who help take down Desperous." She brainstormed.

"So you think it IS magic?" asked Sharon. "If it is, the only name that pops in my head is Chaos." continued fireheart and Sharon's image nodded and said: "Unfortunately, somebody broke our quarantine and the entire Capital city was wiped out. Please evade that area. If you excuse me, we are putting every single village into magic quarantine so noone can escape and cause more damage." she said and her image vanished. "This is bad." noted Fireheart. "We got to do something and fast, or we'll be on the edge of extinction again. though i do have a failsafe plan if we fail on finding a cure. Because we are still few in numbers we can't afford the quarantine and wait till infected populations die out."

The dragon said nothing. "Ugh this is point less. Ok im out of ideas." He went back to Dinara. "Ok so..um......who died again?"

Starlights head turned in a whiplash to glare at the other strange dragon and was going to snarl at him when she had a dejavue of Zarin. She softened the tone she was going to use and said quietly. "My mate is the one who died. That's who. Now if you don't mind I'd like you to leave." Dinara got up and moved to Starlight leaned against her, wanting comfort. Starlight provided that comfort and folded a wing around her.

"Oh dear, im sorry i had no idea." He turned and started walking out. He walked until he saw Fire's energy and walked near him but heard him talking, so he walked around.

"How are they?" Asked Fireheart, standing in the centre of the entrance allowing Gorn to navigate his way. "Maybe it will be good for both of them if they stay together for a while. You know, we were going to see Zarin too, would you like to come with me?" asked Fireheart and moved to the outer wall and lied there to regain strength again. If you want a portal to the crystal volley for your father, just tell me he sent a thought to Dinara and then lied on the back and watched the sky, thinking about his parents.

Wolf was so startled because suddenly the green dragon started talking in his language, even if it sucked. "Can you understand me?" Wolf howled. "You need to burn the corpse before the Death disease spreads. To heal the female, give her deathsmoke. Hurry!" He called to the dragon, who had turned and left the cave thingy. Barking his message again at the green one, Wolf bounded out of the thingy and toward the lake. Barking again, he pounced on the green dragon, shocking it.
