The light blotches weren't going again, in fact they were getting brighter! Dinara squinted down. Gasping she barrel rolled. Rubble fell and there was a rumble as the room shivered. A beam of light shot down where Dinara hovered moments ago.

Starlight looked down sadly at still form of her green companion. With a start she looked up and around at the sudden brightness of the room and the increasing rumbling. She spun to watch the destruction. "Glacious, take 2 others and fill in those holes with clear ice as well as sealing any cracks. We don't need this place falling in on our heads. Frostif, go help the younglings. Everyone else make a series of glass discs in a line. Sol'Lux, we're going to blast a hole through that thing. When the discs are ready fire down the center for the middle of that thing."

Sol'Lux saluted: "I'll project decoy discs once the real ones are on the way." she said and aimed her hand at the thing.

Fireheart warped behind Corvus with his blade leaning to the front, avoiding the beam. He tried to stab Corvus' left leg and took off, heading for one of Caracal's heads. "If you know something and all i need to do to make you tell me is breaking few bones, then so be it!" he said and shielded himself, preparing to dodge defensive fire.

Phoenicia didn't move a bit, as she stood good ten meters away from Corvus, the head wouldn't dare to fir... "WhoawhoaWHOA!" she said, jumping away right in time, followed by a wave of crushed rocks. She melted and stopped those threatening her, but happily let loose of those going for Corvus. "Have fun, sucka!" she said and added few fireballs.

Corvus growled at Fireheart and stepped out of the way, only to be pelted by a fall of rocks from the ceiling. "Ergh." he said, rising from the rubble, pitch-black smoke pouring from from gashes along his body. "Carakal, stop them for me, would you. Also, you are prohibited from speaking to the intruders." he said, an orb of darkness forming in his hand. "You know what I'll do if you don't comply."
Carakal's heads nodded in unison. Struggling with its icy prison it slashed at Phoenicia with massive foreclaws, Corvus sitting safely on its central head.

Dinara shook her head. "Gah, guess that's the best that i can do." Diving down she headed for one of the heads. She prepared another ice bomb. "Heh, can't do many more of these. Hey you." She called up to it. "I'm more fierce and louder then you." She roared as loud as she could at it and waited, hoping her plan would work.

OOC: OK, this is so transparent that even I (and trust me i am not good at riddles and seeing through tricks) guessed what is this about

Fireheart sighed hearing Dinara's puny little roar. "Are you crazy? That thing roars and this cave is gonna go down!" he shouted from under and hit the head he was heading for, knocking it away. HE aimed and sent few laser shots after it before charging at it again, watching what the other heads are doing.

"Kids are keeping it budy, how about firing those discs sometime today?" rushed Sol'Lux, eager to end this as fast as possible.

"I guess we could fire a few but that's not the main purpose." All the discs, 8 in all, were now ready and only a few were left to get set into place. Each one was about the size of a average dragons torso. "Your going to fire a light beam through and with each glass it passes will make it stronger till it hits. Think of it as getting a really nasty sun burn in winter." Starlight explained.

"Not if I get it first."

"Hm, clever, i'll need to compensate the initial width of the beam because we cannot rearrange the discs but it shall work. let's try." said Sol'Lux and touched her temples. The light from the cave started to pull towards Sol'Lux, massively disorting everybody's eyesight, only Sol'Lux, Fireheart and Phoenicia were able to compensate (OOC: Gorn was probably unaffected too because he doesn't use visual for targeting). The photons geathered in front of Sol'Lux and then left for the ice discs as a massive beam, becoming more and more coherent after each pass, until they hit Caracal's body, slicing easily through the bones.

Fireheart saw the visual effect Sol'Lux's attack had and calibrated his eyes. He aimed at Corvus and sent few fireballs on him.

Chunks of bone rained down on the hollow city below, each segment raising a billowing mass of gray as it landed on the dust that littered the ruins. The domed roof of a an ancient mausoleum cracked as a shard of Carakal's spine clattered onto the roof, its massive pillars beginning to crumble. Another piece of the immense skeleton's stony body broke off and tumbled through the air a moment later, having only been partially damaged by the earlier attack.
It never landed.
Instead, the disk of bone remained suspended in the air directly above the tip of a gigantic stone spire. With an indignant cough, a large brown dragon emerged from behind the tower, the hovering fragment wobbling slightly as he waved the dust out of his eyes.
"Watch where you're dropping those things," Oltyth called up crossly. "And," he said, eyes searching the air above for Sol'Lux, "warn me before you pull any more tricks with the light."
Eyes narrowed with concentration, he flung the piece of Carakal's skeleton across the dead city, the bone shard clattering loudly to the ground some distance away.
"Now someone give me a lift up," he ordered, already pulling platforms out of his rocky surroundings.

"Is that Oltyth I hear? Hey bud, glad you could join us." Dinara said, seeing as everything was squiggly now as well as blurry. "Do you think you'd be able to open this guys muzzle and make him say aww? I need to give him his medicine."

"Bullseye... I think." Starlight said. "Come on. We finish the monster and let the little ones gang up to get that last ingredient." Then turning her attention to the ice dragons she said. "Two of you go help keep the roof up. The last come with us."

[Morty]

Carakal buckled, bits and pieces of bone falling away from the pulsing center of black energy. "What the-!" Corvus clung tight to the central head of Carakal as its vertebral column began to fall away, the heads falling after it. "Augh, pull yourself together, you useless lout!" yelled Corvus, snapping his fingers urgently. Tendrils of darkness drifting off its body, Carakal half-heaved itself together, the ribcage a mess of smashed, jagged bones, jaws misaligned, spinal cord twisted and bunched. Bones flew from the piles and piles at the bottom of the pit and expanded, slotting themselves into the places irretrievable bones had vacated. Four heads let out a low growl.
"You've done it now. The thing about Carakal is, once hit with and elemental attack, that element's effectiveness will be lessened." said Corvus, grinning as Carakal hauled itself to its feet. "Your light power will have very little effect now that he's learned to absorb it."
Carakal's black heart pulsed through the mess of a ribcage with speckles of white and blue. Seven bony tails thumped the ground, a storm of razor-sharp bones rising from the dust and flying at the dragons like debris from an explosion.

When a shard skimmed the base of Dinara's tail she hissed and decided to retreat. "ok, enough time has passed." She said to herself. When she was a fair distance away close to Oltyth she drew on the water hearts power to draw out some extra pure water. Taking that water she split it into two portions and healed each eye, getting rid off the blurriness and light blotches. The result was that here vision was as clear as ever. "Now, about opening his maws, can you do that Oltyth?" She asked again hurriedly, spinning out of the way as more shards came at them.

"Already trying," Oltyth barked back, skidding out of the way of a collapsing building. "It's just a little difficult with something like that." He dug his foreclaws into the grit-covered floor, creating a thick pillar beneath his feet. "Just keep that monstrosity away long enough for me to concentrate. I'm only going to be able to hold its mouth open for a few seconds, seeing as it isn't completely stone."
The Heart of Earth rumbled, its gentle light growing in intensity as the jaws of the nearest head began to clatter.
"There!" Oltyth shouted, the skeleton's mouth swinging open. "Go now!"
