I have an idea for an RP that takes place in an alternate world(s). The main idea is that there are an innumerable ammount of different worlds that are mostly undetectable to one another. The worlds were and are created by powerful beings. They could be spirits, they could be eldritch abominations, they could even just be exceptionally clever mortals. Anyways, the maker of the world obviously sets the rules. The only universal rule is that there is no such thing as infinite energy in any one world, nor any omnipotent force. Even if the maker has decided that they are going to be an invincible overlord in their world, they could still be killed, some way or another. So basically one character can't mess with another character's free will, or magic, or what have you, as I'm guessing the two go hand in hand in this multiverse. I'd like to elaborate but I don't know how well-received this is going to be. So, ask questions, if anyone's interested! Oh and the main point of these worlds is so you can do what ever the hell you want. Invade someone else's world, build your own, go on an adventure, what ever. XD

Me like that idea, Morty. I also have an idea. Well it was taken from a dead roleplay from another forum I frequent, created by the username 'cshoes'. The story is this:
"Just imagine that one day you walk into a room and your family is watching a show about psychics. You sit down and watch, being very skeptic about the whole thing. The show ends and your family loves it. They start raving about it and you say, “Like something is really going to move if I imagine it moving.” To make your point you point at the remote for the T.V. and scrunch up your face. You hear your family gasp and open your eyes and gasp too, seeing how the remote is floating level with your hand, twitching with little movements from your hand. You raise your hand and the movement is mirrored in the remote. Your family watches you and you turn your focus to something else, and the remote falls to the floor. You turn to your family and stare at your father. He gasps in shock as he rises in the air, arms flailing, legs flopping around trying to orient himself in the air. You focus on him touching the ground and his feet touch the ground and he regains his balance. Your family stares at you, and you notice them trembling in fear, shrinking away from you, not meeting your eyes. You start to move towards them and stop, realizing exactly why they are afraid. You already showed them that even they can’t stand in your way. You quickly head to your room, pack some clothes, food, a cell phone, and a map into a backpack and walk out the front door. Maybe there are others like you. Maybe they can help you with this power. When you have control of it, you will come back.
On the other hand, you might not think like that. Try imagining this. Your sitting in the basement of your house, surrounded by chicken eggs. You had put frogs on top of them, seeing if the legend was true. A few minutes ago, the frogs had abandoned all the eggs but one. You turn on a light so that the eggs don’t die. You also put on your sunglasses, ready to see if it is true. You start saying over and over in your mind: “Let it work, let it work, let it work.” The only egg with a frog on it started to crack, and the frog hopped off. All of a sudden the other eggs burst, sending egg shards and yolk everywhere. You wipe the yolk off your glasses and look around. There are just a bunch of chickens lying around. You turn back to the only egg left, then suddenly you twist back around and take a closer look. As the feathers dried and grow closer together, you see that they are part lizard. You watch as the first one opens it’s eyes. You look at them, seeing the cold intelligence lying behind the yellow reptilian eyes, and shudder, thanking yourself for thinking of sunglasses. Then you hear it. A large crack. You whip around seeing another crack run down the egg. Cracks start appearing from a small hole in the top. As the hole gets bigger, you see the tip of a snake like tail poke from the whole. As the egg continues to crack, the tail pushes out more and more until the whole egg falls apart, revealing a small lizard with a very long tail. It opens it’s eyes. They are glowing red and they radiate evil, but the look it’s giving you is more respect. You smile to yourself, knowing exactly what you are going to do with your new army. At least once it grows up.
A lot of people in our world have found out that they are gifted with strange powers. They have been named “God’s Children”, as their powers reach the point of that of a deity. Some have powers like telekinesis, others the ability to make nightmares and monsters that belong only in the most ancient myths to life. All have found themselves to be immortal, but . Some wish to help the normal humans, while others see them as slaves. Or food for creatures, sacrifices for their powers. Others just want to learn to control their powers and go home, to start to blend in. It is now a war between the two sides of God’s Children, the Fallen ones, and the Angels as they have come to be called. Along with their powers, they are gifted with the knowledge of how to use most any weapon, and the incredible luck needed to survive on a battle field. This war started as several Children from each side making teams and attacking the other side, as they hated the other side for their morals or lack of. Some humans have sworn loyalty to these people, and in turn had small powers given to them, such as strength, telepathy, flight, and immortality. Most humans though, believe that they should eradicate these powerful new people, and have made vast armies of people of every nation to do so. This happened after several hundred humans were killed as food for a Fallen's army of nightmarish creatures. It is your turn to choose which side you are on. Are you one of these “Children”, Fighting to help or destroy the humans, or to just blend in, or maybe join the army to fight with or against these new godlike beings. Maybe you are just trying to escape the destruction, but no matter what your role is, it will effect the outcome of this horrendous war.
You can play as a human or one of God’s Children. You must choose to be on one side or the other, or neutral. Lets see how this plays out, shall we?" -created by Cshoes

This is...interesting. I like the idea but would it be possible to change it just a little? Just so it's more original and not just a way to bring back an old RP.

Mesa not like any immortal characters. Period. Super-healing is fine (Wolverine, Wraith from Stargate), but if you shoot something's head off, it shouldn't be able to grow a new one. Fix that and it sounds interesting.

RP Idea: 7 Circles Grand Campaign Crazy idea for a kind of less serious RP thread. Tournament-style campaign where the 7 Circles of Hell compete against one another for sport (and because the losers' prison sectors get wiped lol.). The Circles, Gula, Luxuria, Avaritia, Acedia, Ira, Invidia, and Superbia, act like countries trying to invade one another, only more chess-flavored. If the "Prince" of that circle is checkmate'd they're out for the count, last Circle standing wins the game. Characters from different RPs can be invited to participate, and are tagged with a "guest card" that allows them to return to the surface if they are killed. XD It goes without saying, but it's against the rules to steal a living player's guest card. Citizens of Hell participating in the games have a citizen card that allows them to literally get-out-of-jail-free, as they're automatically sent to that circle's "prison" sector if they are killed. Inmates will pass into the Void if killed. In fact this is suspected to be the whole point of the tournament; the underworld is kind of overpopulated haha. Inmates who checkmate the Prince, however, will be allowed to return to the surface... *U* PS: Not necessarily canonical. XD Princes of the Circles are traditionally: Lucifer, demon of Pride (Circle= Superbia) Mammon, demon of Greed (Circle= Avaritia) Asmodeus, demon of Lust (and pipe dreams, apparently XD) (Circle= Luxuria) Satan, demon of Wrath (Circle= Ira) Baal, demon of Gluttony (Circle= Gula) Leviathan, demon of Envy (Circle= Invidia) Belphegor, demon of Sloth (Circle= Acedia) But feel free to make up your own, since they tend to get replaced. (Especially since Corvus was supposedly a prince at one time. ) Citizens of Hell = Things born in Hell. Some of them are actually pretty normal. Prison sector = the place where the bad people go. 8P the Void = white space between worlds where souls are transformed into Sluagh, spirits of light/aether. Generally harmless, unless you're travelling between the worlds without permission. Other: Considering changing Lust to something else (idk like indulgence or something but that's kind of greed's job) because, well, most media don't consider sex to be taboo anymore. XD And then Gluttony to Shame (self-hate) (Circle= Tristitia? Melancholia? Contritia?) because greed or indulgence can pretty much cover gluttony, and honestly it's not all that harmful. (not that shame is much better/worse XD) And then Pride to Vainglory so it doesn's contradict the shame thing as much. (In all honesty every sin but wrath could pretty much be removed in my books, but that wouldn't make for a very interesting tournament, now, would it? XD) And maybe Sloth to Apathy, idk. Suggestions? Suggestions are welcome. : D Oh and if no one feels like going to Hell the same premise could pretty much be used with different worlds instead of circles, like the ones I described in my last post. XD

Hmmm... interesting. Also, Nohiki, there is NOT going to be the immortal thing for 'God's Children' I am going to edit that, or else everyone will NEVER flippin' die. Also, I am going to edit out a lot of other stuff as well. I don't want uber characters, thanks.
