"ok but i dont know how im gonna be able to hold this gem the whole.....hhhhmmmmmm." Zarin had an idea that might work and might hurt really bad. He walked behind a wall and then forsed his bad eye open, there was just a bunch of stuff that didnt work in it anymore so he pulled it all out. Then smashed the gem into his eye socket. "I cant see still but i can blink again." He came out from behind the wall. "Well it worked, them gem seemed to shrink or something, but it fit in fine." He jumped off and flew to the fight.

Ivy looked up to the new dragon with out changing her position. "Aparently the enamy we had been expecting for a while now has arrived." She returned her attentino back to the little golden hatchling and said, "In you go. This is no place for hatchlings."

Naïma sighed, then looked up at the darkest portion of the sky.
"That wasn't really the answer I was looking for, but something tells me it can wait until later. What should I be doing to help?"

"Well, I say since everyone is already in the refuge, that if you have any battle skills you go and help Starlight and Sol'Lux up there," Ivy squinted up at the cloud for a second and added ", hmm, Chaos seams to be helping too."

Naïma looked down at her feet sullenly.
"I'm afraid I'm not much of a fighter," she confessed in a soft voice.
"The only way I've ever learned to use my powers is to flee and hide."
She winced as one of Desperanus's dark beams lanced through the clouds and struck the ground nearby.
Her expression hardened, and she summoned forth a small whirlwind between her paws.
"But that doesn't mean I shouldn't try!" she roared as she surged into the sky.

"This guy is huge. lets see mom used to make herself giant somehow....what did she do.......THATS IT." Zarin summoned up a storm again and this time had it all strike him. So much lightning was around him that he formed it. Soon Zarin was in the centar of a giant electrik dragon, any move he made so did the dragon. He was now the size of the other dragons. "3 on 1, your odds dont look to good pal."

"Hiding behind your friends, and even enemies?" laughed Desperanus, "Instead of showing me your own strength." "My friends ARE my true strength. That is the one thing you can't understand. You are too self-centered to get it." Sol responded. "That's too bad, because... I AM ABOUT TO DESTROY ALL OF THEM!" he said, raised his hand and blacklightning strucked down everyone that came to help them and reverted them back to their natural forms, stripping them of all powers, barely allowing them to get up. Sol was watching, scared. She roared and charged on Desperanus: "You've gone too far! This ends here and now!" "How true." he said and cut her wing. Sol crashed and fell down in pain.

Naïma cried out as the black lightning shot through her body, leaving her drained and exhausted on the ground.
The ground... she thought miserably. I hate the ground... But of course there was nothing she could do about it, only watch helplessly as Desperanus sliced through Sol'Lux's wing. Moments ago, that golden dragon looked so glorious and invincible. Now she looks like a frightened hatchling...
Naïma ground her teeth and struggled to lift her weary body. She knew there was little she could do, and the Heart's whispers had grown faint. She looked around slowly, hoping Desperanus wouldn't see her.
There! Ivy and Zil'Caron were still crouched near the shelter. Neither one had attacked Desperanus, and he had ignored them. Naïma examined them both from a distance. The green one is a healer, that's easy to see. The golden dragon back there -- Still don't know her name -- definitely needs one of those. But there's no way that monster will let her just run in and heal her. she thought, glaring at Desperanus. As for the black and gold dragon... She peered at Zil'Caron closely, and spotted the red gemstone. I'm willing to bet anything that's the Heart of Fire. And air fuels fire... No, that wouldn't work. I'm just going to have to ask them what we should do...
Naïma sent out a weak little thought to Ivy and Zil, faded by her loss of energy, but hopefully small enough to slip past Desperanus's notice. It was a simple message, but Naïma knew she couldn't handle much more. The first part of the message she directed mainly at Ivy, the second half to Zil.
If we could create a distraction, do you think you could heal the golden one? Would a plan like this work?

Ivy gasped aloud when everyone fell from the sky like flies as they were struck with a dark energy. She started to run towards them then turned and went to the cave where everyone sleeps. In there were a few of the herbs she had. she dumped them in front of Zil and said, "Hold these." before hurrying off to find the ones she had put aside after Zarin had started going bazerk. She ran as fast as she could stumbling everyone once and a while because she was still weak. She ate up two of the energy leaves, feeling them taking effect soon after, and made her way back. By the time she was back with Zarin the dark dragon was bearing down on Sol'Lux who was dodging attacks with her damaged wing dragging in the dirt. Her ability to talk with her mind was too weak to pick up the wind dragons thought.
She set the to the task of fixing up Zil first he only seamed to have minor cuts and seamed on hindered by lack of energy. So she gave him a few of the energy leaves and sent him off to grab some one else she could fix up.
Starlight tried to struggle up to help Sol'Lux who was badly injured, but she only got a few feet up before she flopped back down panting. "Man...this...sucks." she said between gulps pf air. She then had a brain wave. "Where is a crystal? I need a crystal." she murmured looking around. She had remembered that Sol'Lux had told her that she can drain power from certain stones before they left to save Neurtin.

"Urgh." Naïma collapsed when no response came. She had no strength for a second try.
Great. Now what? All around her, the other dragons made feeble attempts to rise, and the healer was darting between them, offering various herbs to counter their exhaustion. The white dragon that Darkring and Kohta had found was still not moving.
Sol'Lux was dodging valiantly, but she couldn't keep it up forever, and everyone knew it. The dragon with the Heart of Ice in her chest plate said something, but the words were lost in the noise produced by a dark bolt smashing nearby.
"What?" she called as Desperanus made another swipe at Sol'Lux.
I need to buy us some more time...
Using what remained of her ebbing power, she pulled clouds, both natural and corrupted, around Desperanus's eyes.
I really hope he can't see through those, they won't last very long anyhow... I just hope I made a difference...
With that, she crumpled and blacked out.

Desperanus was beating Sol'Lux on every move. He finally pinned her to the ground. "At last, this is finally the end of Sol'Lux!" With mad laugh, he prepared for the final blow, when clouds blocked his wiew. He took deep breath and just made them disappear. "Nice work, but futile!" he said and his claws started to move to Sol's neck.
Fireheart saw that and he couldn't take it anymore. "MOM!" he shouted and teleported to Sol'Lux and took her out of the blow. "Huh?! What trickery is this?!" yelled Desperanus when he saw his prey vanishing. "No... trickery, just... Your downfall." said Sol behind him, healed by Fireheart, but her powers were almost depleted. There is no other way. she thought, as she used her own life force to summon the souls of the dead light clan. She couldn't sustain her physical form any longer. She changed back to her spirit form and with light orbs, wich were souls of the dead light dragons, surrounded Desperanus. "Desperanus, you have ruined lives of Dragons, Humans and any other live forms alike. You must be defeated, no matter the cost." she said and they all impacted his body. Desperanus started to scream and light started to penetrate from inside his body. His body completely dissolved, leaving only the darkness heart and Sol'Lux in her natural body. She grabbed the heart. "I will never destroy darkness, but the balance can be shifted." she said and smashed it into dust, wich disappeared soon after. "I must undo the damage that has been done." she shouted and light emerged all over the place, healing everyone again and fixing the landscape. The clouds over the island disappeared. When the light vanished, Sol'Lux fell to the ground again.

Naïma stirred as her wounds were healed, standing up groggily. "What... what happened?" As she shoke her head to clear her thoughts, she caught sight of Sol'Lux's limp form. She emmited a small gasp and streaked over the ground to the body. "Is she... ?" Naïma asked in disbelief, checking for signs of life. (OOC: Sorry about the super-cliché post, I couldn't think of anything.  ) |

Energy of the hearts returned to the stones. Sol'Lux saw white dragon over her, talking. "Not yet... But... I udes too much energy..." she said quietly with breaks, "So, you are... the air one? I am sorry for... not explaining." she said, her eyes closed and her body disintegrated into few yellow sparks, wich flown quickly towards one star on the sky. Before she left, she sent a goodbye to her friends.
Starlight: Sol created soft crystal with an illusion inside, catching when Sol and Starlight went into space. "Goodbye, i will always remember you. I am sending you all my knowledge and memories, so only you know who i really am and where am i from, and everything that i learned. I won't be here physically, but i will always be with you, because you will know how i would react."
Fireheart: "I am sorry for not being too much of a mother, but i will always be watching over you." She sent him part of her powers, enchanting his own.
Zil: "Take care of yourself and our son, i am counting on you."
Ivy: "Good luck and take care of everyone. You are the voice of reason."
Zarin: "I hope you protect everyone, you have the power. Farewell."
Meressa: "Good luck, queen of the water clan. Thank you for everything."
Anubis: "I hope you will be ok, i sent you whatever energy i had left. Goodbye."
Chaos: "I am sorry for not keeping my promise and not destroying you, maybe later, heh."

Darkring and Kohta had been in a trance waiting for Chaos's response. When they re-awoke all they saw was destruction.
"What has happened?" Darkring cried. He tried to find Naima and saw her next to another dragon. "Kohta go see if Naima and that other dragon is okay."
Kohta nodded. As soon as he landed next to Naima he urgently asked. "Naima! What happened. While my father and I were in a trance, we formed a shiel around us protecting us from anything outside of it."
