"Not with me. I'm not one for spells and if you want herbs you have to go find Ivy who is off with the group." Starlight cocked her head momentarily while she listened to Zarins message. "Zarin says he's going off to check out the suspect and will be a while."

"A suspect?" Shya looked up in curiosity. "No one else has any idea who did it. I wonder what he knows that we don't."
I'm just glad he doesn't think I killed Kantanion, she thought to herself, relieved.
She walked over to Darkring. "I wouldn't be too worried about Drakine if I were you. He's strong, he'll recover from the shock soon enough."

Naïma sighed and slumped slightly as everyone disappeared.
I was looking forward to telling them the good news, but now I might never get a chance. If dragons keep fighting and dying like this, another war could break out before we've even recovered completely.
Sadly, she took off in the direction Zarin had flown.

Chaos stared cooly at Zarin. "As a matter of fact, I have. For a few hours, then I woke up, covered in some sort of acid i produce. Why?" Chaos's face changed. "What did I do?"

Drakine completly ignored Darkring. The insane cloud in his mind grew bigger, wonderfully numbing his own memories.

"You killed one of my men thats what. Geez." Zarin grabbed his face. "How am i gonna tell everyone that i knew you were here and your condition and didn't do anything to help. I mean they get your evil and all that but i cant loose the trust of my men.....Ill ask star hopefully she can think of something." Zarin got a hold of Star. "I need you and you alone to come where i am, i found the killer but i dont want anyone else to know."

Shya stopped as she reached Kantanion's body, and studied Drakine's expression carefully. Sure enough, something-- she didn't know what --had changed.
"Is he okay?" she asked, confused by the transformation.

Starlight received the message and slowly slunk off into the trees. Starlight was only skilled enough to receive messages, not return, but she's found that she could get a sense the direction of the in coming thought faintly from a few dragon she was personally close to, like her friends. She went off in the direction she had sensed being as quiet as possible. It took her a while to find Zarin through the undergrowth but when she finally did her eyes opened wider slightly at his companion. "Well hey Chaos. didn't know you were here."

"Star, meet the killer. but now how do we tell the others that i knew he was here and that this might happen." Zarin walking around thinking.

Naïma hovered uncertainly. She'd just come to help Zarin with whatever he was doing, but now it seemed she'd stumbled into something she wasn't meant to see. She only picked up a few snatches of conversation, but Zarin's explosion had been more than enough to explain the situation.
What to do now...

Starlight sat lay down and started to fiddle with a piece of ice she made as she thought. After a while she mumbled. "Honestly I have no idea. I'm mean whichever way you look at it ends up with you having to tell them that you knew that he was here."

Darkring over heard the conversation taking place in the forest. Ahh so he's here, Darkring thought. Thanks to Zarin for keeping that a secret from me. Darkring flew over to Zarin. "Zarin, you should have told me that he was here! His condition is the reason i'm looking for him!! He's dangerous and he needs help." He spited out fire. "Chaos, may I talk to you? It's urgent. When I met you in the snow i felt some disease in your system. And later i talked to Kohta, who is in a different time period. He said there is a disease going through and that YOU released it. Maybe we can try and stop it. Before it gets worse like in the future!! (OOC: somebody should contact all people in The disease and tell them about this time connection.)

The fire dragon groaned in disgust as Darkring flapped into the air and disappeared over the treeline, most likely to a distant region of the forest.
"But why in the name of flames would he want to go there? I thought Drakine was his main concern right now," she muttered.
As she turned, she realized that apart from the dead, she was all alone with Drakine.
That's not good... Shya thought as she spotted the crazed expression slowly growing in his eyes.

Naïma sighed as Darkring flew past her and landed in the clearing, apparently not noticing her presence. There goes any chance of them keeping it a secret. Now everybody knows... I might as well keep listening anyhow.
She flicked her slender ears forward, trying to catch what Darkring was saying. Although she heard most of it clearly, it seemed to be a jumbled mess, with mention of snow and a disease and a timehole of some sort.
Being with Drakine must have really shaken him, she thought sympathetically. Wait a moment... Her head snapped up. If everybody who knows about Drakine is here, then who's with him?
She hesitated, unsure of whether or not to dive into the clearing.
If I go down there and tell them, then they'll know I was eavesdropping and won't feel they can trust me. But if I go to watch Drakine by myself, I won't be able to help if the trauma makes him snap...
Her fears of another death outweighed her fear of losing her friends' trust. She plunged into the clearing, hovering inches from the ground.
"Who's watching Drakine?"

"Looks like Ill have to work on my sneaking skills." Starlight murmured then raised her voice so Zarin could here her better. "Sorry Zarin. How about if there is nothing else you think i can help with here then I go keep a eye on Drakine."

Chaos turned away. "I am not welcome here, even if the sins I commit are not done by my own will. I will leave." The great black portal opened it's maw, letting Chaos inside. "I am going to live in my temple and the Dark Catacombs. Come anytime, you're welcome to it." Hopping into the portal, Chaos headed off. (OOC: I might make a thread in the Dark Catacombs, if anyone wants to join me that would be swell.)

Drakine looked up from Kantanion, the isanity in his eyes gleaming a nice red against the ice blue. He started growling, as if he could sense everyone nearby. Snarling, he lunged at a tree, seriously decapitating it. Turning around, reddish blue eyes gleaming, he headed to something else, tearing it to bits in just seconds. (Drakine's snapped.)

(OOC: I didn't think it was possible to decapitate a tree. )
Shya stumbled backwards as Drakine burst into motion and watched for a moment, dazed, as he began to destroy everything around him. She shook herself out of her shocked state and sent a message to all who were in range, its strength aided by her desperation.
Come quickly! she thought as she ducked under and past some flying debris. It's Drakine, he's finally lost it!
Just to be certain, she sent up a massive column of fire, a signal to those who did not know her location.
Having done all she could to summon help, she tried to think of ways to slow Drakine until they arrived. Shya enclosed the clearing in a dome of fire that was pocked with holes. The flames around these openings dipped inwards so that it would be easy for a dragon on the outside to fold his or her wings and dive inside, but it would be much more difficult to escape.
I never had a go with Drakine in the arena, but there's gotta be a first time for everything, she thought as she readied herself for the moment when he tired of destroying his surroundings.

Drakine roared, he was insane, and he need to destroy things. Destroying a few more forest objects, he notice the fire dome. Leaping inside,l he tried to destroy the dome itself.
