"Follow me." said Ciro, shaking his head. He flew up to the great doors of the fortress and knocked tentatively.

Lantea pushed the door slightly and it opened. "Come in." she said and stepped inside. "Something's fishy here. Remember how i couldn't distinguish magic sources in here? The entire fortress is flooded with it! I can see the halls to the smallest details. HELLOOOO?" she shouted with an echo, but nobody responded. "OOOokay, this is oficially giving me creeps." she said and backed away.

Taranis pushed her from behind. "If you're not gonna go in then stay out of the way." He walked in without a care. "ALRIGHT IF ANYONES IN HERE COME OUT NOW!....Yup its clear now lets mooove."

"Yeah, it's clear, and that's what frightens me! This is supposed to be the HQ of fire clan! There should be hundreds of dragons! Where are they!" yelled Lantea, but then realized something. She came close to a wall and put her hand on it. A smile popped on her face. "You almost had me Grandma. This is one heck of an illusion, it even feels like you're touching stuff, but this isn't the real deal." she thought for a second, "Which makes sense as arranging a total evacuation just for the three of us is beyond anyone's power." she explained her findings. "None the less, the map led us here, i think we should be searching here."

"I thought I overheard some little ones saying something about a adventure and directions." Starlight said, popping her head into the cave. "From a distance they looked like your younglings, but tell me if I'm wrong. Knock knock."

Nelana opened her eyes cautiously, then lifted her head up. Both her mother and father were sleeping deeply, which one thing.Adventure! Slowly rising, Nelana crept out of the room quickly, and into the dark corridors of the temple of Death. Once frightening, Nelana had learned to navigate the maze-like temple. Thanks to her father, Chaos, nothing that could harm her could come into the temple. Reaching the exit, she blinked in the bright sun. It felt nice to be out in the sun after being in the temple so long. Even though it was a nice place, Nelana wanted to go on adventure like her mother and father. She started moving across the ground, searching for something to do. There was something in the distance that was large. She would go there first.

[Morty]

"You mean... This place isn't real?" said Ciro incredulously. "You can't make that kind of illusion out of light.. Can you?" Ciro scuffed his paw against the black stone of the entryway. It seemed real enough. He stepped into the illusion dubiously, his claws clicking against the sable surface. The floor didn't give way, nor did he feel himself falling, and so he continued onwards.

Taranis sighed. "Man, i was hoping for a scary death trap behind every door, but i guess we're just rats in a maze."

"You know people normally knock first THEN enter, I wasn't aware it had switched." Gorn said as Star entered the cave. "Yeah, seems Sol and Pho has set up some sort of test. Why i was not informed until today is still beyond me."

[Morty]

"Yeah, that'd be wonderful, wouldn't it, Ri?" said Ciro sarcastically, scanning the castle blueprints. He looked around the room, noting the shape of it, and traced a claw down the southern side of the castle. "Alright, so this is our starting point. I guess we'd better stick together since we only have one map..." he said, disheartened by the apparent vastness of the fire fortress. "Let's just go up this main hallway and see what we can find."

"Umm, maybe we should try opening the doors since we have a key?" suggested Lantea and took it, finding a door and slipping the key in... Only to be immediately shot at. "Ow... Those aren't blanks!" she shrieked, looking at Ciro through a hole in her palm.

[Morty]

Ciro's shield went up immediately, stopping the remainder of the shots in their tracks. "Jeeze, Tea, could you try harder to get killed?" he said weakly, shivering with revulsion. He squeezed his eyes shut and looked away as he put his palm against hers, her flesh and bones knitting back together, sealing the wound. "Let's be more careful, guys. Cuts and bruises I can do, but raising the dead is a bit beyond me.."

Lantea whispered a fairly long formula and seemingly nothing happened. "Active shield." she explained, walking to the door again and trying to turn the key. It didn't move. Another shot went for her, but bounced off the shield, yet it didn't stop her from throwing the key bakck to Ciro. "I'll sweep the next one for traps, you guys watch for mobs or something." she said and went forward, recognizing she stepped on something and it went down slightly. She quickly flapped her wings, barely escaping a spike falling down on her from the ceiling. "COME ON? PRESSURE PLATES ARE SO UNFAIR!" she zelled to noone in particular.She sticked close to brothers, keeping her mind occupied with the riddle. "Vault?" she suggested.

Taranis was happy. "Oh man this is dangerous, its so awesome! I hope we run into one of them gryadas things or something." He said while walking through the halls. He look over to the left to see another door much like the last one. "Hey we got another door up ahead, should we risk another key or should i just smash it in along with what ever trap is behind it?"

[Morty]

"Apparently this place has a library.." said Ciro distractedly, eyes on the map. "The riddle did mention knowledge... Come on, guys, that must be it." he crowed, running off in the direction of the study.

He's right. thought Lantea. "No, traps remember!" she shouted, but too late. As Ciro ran, trapdoor opened under Ciro into a deep pit with spikes on the bottom.
