"Oh, lighten up, old sport, when you've got the lifespan of a spiral galaxy, there's all the time in the.. In the, well, galaxy to argue in!" he said, cheerfully. "I might be able to help you out of there, you know, unless you're in there by choice. Though I don't imagine why you would be.." Asmodeus put a finger to his mouth in contemplation.

"Will is just an illusion, you have no control over yourself or the world. Trying to change the world will only change the way others see it as, but what you see it as is not always what it is." Ragnor replied.

"Which I suppose is true, unless you are a Prince of Hell, like me." said Asmodeus, walking in circles around the cart. "Seventy-two legions I commad! Well, commandED, ever since.. What about you, then?" he asked the gloomy dragon. "And can we please keep moving? This fog is getting to me."

"Ragnor, first mortal to ever know the sadness of having all the power in the world. not even hell its self could cause me pain worse." Ragnor just sat there keeping his eyes on nothing, never changing.

Asmodeus blinked. "Well, hell itself shouldn't be causing pain in the first place, as far as I know." said he, keeping up with the procession. "Oh, is THAT where we're headed?" he asked, the outline of Hallow House coming into view. "But I was JUST there!" he said in disappointment, as the cages began to be unloaded. "By the way, I'm Asmodeus." He grinned.

The Count turned to the Asmodeus. "All counts like me have this voice, you upstarted immature pervert, so go and go back to Hell for all I care." The Count continued, never once raising his voice or changing his tone. He was like a glass statue, without emotions. He beckoned, and half the Hunters donned black armor, then stood at attention. The rest of them started unloading the cages and stacking them up onto carts coming down from the castle, pulled by, surprisingly, dragons with magesbane halters.

"Alas, but I would if I could." sighed Asmodeus. "But getting to Hell from the Overworld is a lot harder than it sounds. One must commit atrocities. And then, one must die. For mortals, that is. And I'm as good as mortal now-- but don't get any ideas." He smiled cunningly, observing the harnessed dragons with some interest. "Now why capture and enslave dragons to do your dirty work, good sir, when you could bribe them instead? Lord knows you have the riches."

"I have my own reasons for that immortal pervert, none of which you need to know." The Count replied softly.

"Hmm, well, that's not much to work with, County," Asmodeus muttered back. "I mean, wouldn't you prefer a willing ally to a grudging slave?" Waving to Ragnor and Kana as their cages were carried past, and to a third he didn't know the name of, Asmodeus continued. "You're gonna get found out some time, boyo, and then you'll have whole clans of angry dragons after you."

"I've figured the solution to that, dragon." The Count said. "But of course, you have no need to know why. It's none of your business. If you want to do something, please just go back to Hell or just leave."

((I have no idea were this is going. D:))
"Go back to Hell? Gladly. But I thought I'd mentioned why I couldn't". He huffed. "Now do you need my assistance, or shall I sell it somewhere else?"

"Sell it elsewhere, please." The Count ordered. The men had finished strapping on their armor, and the dragons had been loaded into the cart. But then, a small messenger flit flew down and landed on one of the Hunter's shoulders. The man read the message and said, "Sir. Count Matimo just sent this. He says to arrive at Red Castle in one hour, or the meeting of the Counts will begin without you." The Count sighed, then dismissed the Hunters around him. Then he unbuckled his armor, unhooked Solas's, chain from the gauntlet, and called for a carriage. When it arrived, the Count picked up Solas and started absentmindedly petting him, lost in thought while staring at the dragons in the cages. Then he snapped out of it and got into the carriage.

Asmodeus watched the carriage depart, striped tail flicking absentmindedly. He was debating whether he should help the trapped dragons out of their cages, or simply follow the Count in his carriage. "Bah, I'll come back when someone needs me." said Asmodeus, disappearing into the ground.
((Well, since I've got nothing else to do, and it would be a very short RP indeed if Asmodeus let everyone out of their cages straight away... Grah.))

Kana smiled and waved back to Asmodeus as her cart went around a bend in the sloping path. Looking ahead, she barely had enough time to fully view a massive pair of black iron gates before the wagons arrived at the base of the tower. Slowly, the dragons pulling the carts entered the massive structure. "Up there is for special dragons," a nearby Hunter explained, pointing up a silver set of stairs. "You guys will stay in the mines until you've been appraised. If you happen to have any interesting features or talents, you could make your way into the Count's favor." As the corridor sloped down, their surroundings grew ever darker, lit only by the bars of Pandora's cage and the occasional hazy lantern. Through the inky darkness, the Hunter's voice drifted up again. "Past here, the only ones who know the way through these passages are the cart-dragons and drudges. Don't ever try to go anywhere without one. They've also been thoroughly trained to ignore everything you say." The path suddenly opened into a large cavern, lit with an eerily blue light that seemed to come from the stones themselves. "Welcome to the Thunder Mines."

(OOC: I am using a Hunter, to get things moving. He's just temporary for now, since right now I can't do anything with the Count or Solas) The Hunter silently looked at the three dragons before him. They were out of the cages now, having been outfitted with the halters. He noted the black dragon's need of the light crystal, and the female dragon stood out too. The depressed one would just go into the mines. He was the Sorter, to take out those who might interest the Count. Nodding to the other Hunters standing at ready, he barked "Those two, the black one and the female, put them with the special dragons. The male, put him into the mines. He's not special at all."
