"Oh, I'm not talking about me. The rest of us might not take kindly to one of their high ranks vanishing though." Tara said in irritatingly calm voice. She sat down and waited. Normally she'd start a fire to heat herself up, but in this case she risked melting the roof above her, so she resorted to quietly suffering the cold and the two jarheads outside.
After a short while, someone else came and brought food. "Not funny." She groaned, constantly moving her fingers to keep blood circulating. She took a bite but as anything in this place, even the food was cold. "So, why are you here?" Tara asked, expecting nothing short of a wheasel trying to make her say something to prove her story false.

She grinned, "I live here and thought you'd want some company, and food. Hold on." Taking a quick bite Sarin got up and wandered over to some low deap cubbies in the wall, shufflng some of the items around till she found what she was lookng for, "Here we go." She pulled out a small fur blanket. "We're preparing for something, or at least i am, and had this made. I'm sure the one who intended for this won't mind you borrow it for the time being." Sarin layed it down to provide a layer between the ice and the Dragoness. "I'm Sarin by the way, Sarin'Ah'Dea, but you can call me the former though, quicker that way." She then lay down again on the ice, nibbled at some of he food and waited, knowing if the dragoness wanted to talk she would.

Tara was glad for the help, lying on the fur and wrapping her frozen fingers into it. Then the dragoness complained about the length of her name. Tara burst out laughing, and didn't stop for half a minute. "Taraah'Jormund daras Nihelbet'Vrahdrap, but Tara is fine." she said, her tone defining the meaning of understanding. "Preparing for what?" She asked, ignoring the mention that this was her home.

Sarin laughed too, "I won't even try saying that. Tara it is." When she calmed down again she still smiled. "Well, it's less of a what as a who. Most would think this a bad time, but sometimes you can't control it. Not even Isis knows, so don't tell a soul." She said with a wink. "Can't wait to see his face as he walks in one day to find an egg in his bed."

"Not even... Oh, wait, you two are an Item?" Tara raised her eyebrows, taking a deeper sniff, but she couldn't tell any scent in what she assumed was home to both of them. Her nostrils were covered in tiny ice crystals. "Congratulations. Did you pick names yet?" The fire dragoness smiled.

"Item? We've been together for years." She replied with a grin. "I thought about it, but we won't know for sure till the egg hatches, though i'd love a little girl. Then we can both pester her father and maybe he'll thaw out even more. He sometimes, takes things a bit too seriously. And you?"

Tara slowly shook her head. "Wouldn't do it to the kid. With my line of work, there'd be a good chance the little whelp would grow up without mom." she sighed, "Let's just say running errands is something I only do because I..." died just a few days ago. Tara continued in her head, but instead said "had a serious injury."

Thoron grunted laughingly at Luna's request and did as she asked by gaping his jaws by a hair then creating a small beam of concentrated flame that coursed off the tip of his tongue. It was a brief flash from this flame that instantly made the needle red hot at the tip. "Sorry about that. Hopefully that doesn't burn your fingers." he said then moved a bit in the center of the rock formation so the white dragoness could do her work at ease.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scourge was sprinting across the ice with the destruction of the mountain behind him dying out from the white blur of the snowy plains he just entered. The demon was missing the fur he had covered his armor with seeing he had to burn it off during the fight before meeting Tara. His displeasure suddenly vanished when he could see the snow depth dwindling for every mile he ran. The altitude changed and trees started appearing into view as he passed by in a rushing metallic charge. "Well now, I better slow down before I end up trampling something unfortu- nate..." He discontinued when he was surprised by a bloody mess of a scent that passed by him. The huge being skidded to a dead halt leaving a trench thirty-five feet from where he intended to stop. Dis-hinging his massive mace where he laid it on his shoulder afterwords, he ran west through the forest coming up to a river where the scent was at it's strongest. He halted again and started investigating along the sulfured waterline. "Something is familiar about this place," he growled feeling a strong noticed feeling about this area. It's almost as if I've been here a near half a century ago. He finished in his thoughts tracing the treeline with every step he took down the snaking water. The demon eventually stepped into the water boiling it with his body temperature when he noticed a nightmare to behold on the other side as the smell and strange noises began to worsen.

after luna finished stitching thoron up she went ahead to the burns. she would energize the skin around the burns and work her way in hopefully that would super speed some of the natural healing in his body. "this may tingle" luna said.

Sarin sobered a touch at Tara's comment and tone. "I guess so. Well, i'm happy you pulled through at least." She then eecided to change the topic, "So how are you at those thermal volcano diving your clan is so fond of?"
(Ooc: so lets move it along to nightfall now to decide the fate of the ice clan? Alliance or no?)

Thorondar could feel his body recovering steadily now after Luna's touchings to stop the bleeding. When he heard her say something to relieving his burns next, that made him glad that his condition will soon be at an end. "Were you a healer once? Because you're good at it!" he observed the dragoness' work as nightfall began to fall upon them. The giant dragon scanned both sides of the river to find lurking eyes, but saw none. Then he listened to the silence soon hearing crickets and the howling wind combat rushing of the water next to them. It is going to be a cool night. He thought and went back to watching Luna finish the last of her healing therapy while the sun fell closer, and closer, until it was under the horizon of trees.

(ooc- WARNING; long post. long story short; they've given arguments and now have to wait till morning for everyone to mull it over and decide on a trio for the War Commity.)
Isis walked part way down the slop into his home to hear relaxed conversation between the Fire Dragon Tara and his mate Dea. "I should have guess." he thought, a touch of a smile touching his lips. "Come on you two, everyone who could arrive is here and waiting at the Dome. The dispute is already under way." Then he noticed the blanket Tara was sitting on. "What's that doing here?" Sarin rushed over to collect up the remains of the meal and under that cover whispered to Tara with wink, "Shove it back down into the cubby, I'll finish hiding it later. I grabbed it for Tara here. I doubt any possibility for an alliance would go well if our diplomate lost her toes to our weather. Now, take these and get rid of them. I'll meet you back at the Dome." Isis held the remains in the net that was used to carry them in, "What are you up to, Dea." "Nothing out of the ordinary." She replied mischievously with a soft grin. Isis scowled, then sighed and changed his expression, looking more relaxed. "Fine then, have it your way. At the Dome then." Turning he left.
"I think that went well." Sarin said, looking back to Tara, "Ok, follow me. I'm sure Isis has assigned those two out there to be our escorts so we'll be arriving in good company." She led the way back outside.
Arriving at the Dome Sarin entered and slinked along the wall to circle around to the platforms. It was clear they had come in the middle of the overall discussion. A few closer members gave mixed looks to the escort and Tara, but most were concentrating on the current speaker, "It would be in our best interests to join with Dark Clan." The member spoke, speaking to the elective elders and the present clan members. "With the Dark Clan we can defend our border and, strategically, it would be a stronger bet. They have the number, they have the means of fast transportation, and after this fight they could still be a positive ally by means of their medical magic and medical teachings. What does Fire Clan have to give but destruction. They could easily turn to stab us in the back as soon as they're finished with us." The last sentence said with a taste of contempt. That was when another member spoke up from the crowd as it murmured, "It's well known you don't like the Feiry's, Tarn, but make sure to keep your fealings in check." The speaking member grumbled and walked back into the crowd to find his place again. Another then started to speak, saying her own opinion as she exited the masses and took the stand herself, "I don't think we should dismiss the Fire Clan so easily, or ally ourselves so willingly with ones who's actions have spoken against their words." There was respectful silence. She turned back. "I myself have been on the border between the Shades and ourselves, and have seen their gathering hordes. From my scouts i hear of their sly actions against their current opponent, the Fire Clan, and find myself distasteful of their strategies. I believe it would be they who would be behind the claws of betrayal." The replying murmur was slightly louder then before. "The Feiry's hate us." A voiced called. Another added, "They'd never think of even passing us a glance if they weren't so pitifully thrashed by the Dark Clan." "But what the Shades are doing is brutal." "Regardless of the Fire Clans tendencies for arrogance and war they are respectable as warriors." A few more voices were distinguished in the rising argument. "Hold, be calmed." Isis called from beside the stands where the elders sat behind the platform. When the noise had died considerably he continued, "Fact; Fire Clan and Dark Clan have been at ends with each other for a long time, and it's finally boiled over to open war. Fact; Fire Clan probably wouldn't ask for an alliance if they handle it on their own. From past encounters they are ruthless at times but mostly respectable. Fact; Dark Clan have made veiled threats and mass at our border even as we speak." He paused for a second to let the rest quite to silence, "Fact... We must choose which side to aid. All the Clans will make this choice sooner or later, because I don't doubt that, with this magnitude of rage between Clans, they'll have to." The silenced continued as everyone took in what Isis had said. "Now that everyone fully comprehends the situation we'll reconvene in the morning when the sun breaks the horizon." One of the elders said to the Clan members, not needing to yell over any conversation. "Tonight think on the facts and try not to let past disputes cloud your vote. Also think on the War Leaders, because there will be no avoiding it either way." All of the elders nodded in agreement and stepped down from the stands. The conversation started up again. "And it's time for another waiting game." Sarin said with a bit of a sigh to Tara, "You'll have to be cold for a bit while longer I'm afraid, but you'd have to have stayed anyway with that blizzard almost on top of us. With luck it will break for a bit in the afternoon so that you can leave. This way." Sarin led the way for another one of the many exits.

"No." Tara said simply. She was starting to fail at keeping her anger at the situation in check. It wasn't her fault - it was her breed's nature. It was happening here again, just like back home. She let out a wave of heat that raised the temperature in the dome ever so slightly. Anyone else wouldn't notice, but for an ice dragon, that was an equivalent of a joking punch. It worked, as all she aimed for was to gain attention. the gazes turned on her, some worried, some angry, and some interested.
Tarn, that was one name she was going to remember. Along with anyone else who might openly talk against her clan. And after the war, if she is still able, she will end them. "Enough!" she shouted at the assembled crowd. "Have you learned nothing from what happened to us?" she growled out loud. "While we sat and argued, the shadow hordes similar to those on your borders right now attempted to wipe us out, just like the light dragons of old!" Tara shouted furiously, the rage at the situation she bottled up for so long fueling up her courage to do so. "How long is this mass delusion that you are not part of this going to last? Are you going to wait for the shadows to walk to your doorstep? We already heard rumors of the earthers aligning themselves with the dakr hordes, how long do you think until you are alone in the fight?" She continued, her claws making dents in the icy floor. "The wavedancers and windriders will not listen, they think they are too safe in their secluded homes, and the spark'kin will not last long against the two of them!" Tara summarized what she knew, calming down a little as she saw on few faces the point was driven home, although she had no doubt these not inclined to help her also heard what they wanted. But she couldn't care less. she couldn't wait. "I will wait an hour. Then we'll try our luck somewhere else. Perhaps the energy dragons will listen." She said and turned around, leaving the way Sarin indicated.
Only after the door slammed shut behind her, she let out an angry roar that echoed down the halls, punching the icy wall and chipping a good size block from it for measure. "Idiots. Blabbering idiots, all of them!"

"my mother was a healer and she kind of wanted me to be one to but, i just haven't found a reason to stay in one place. i just want to explore and meet new dragons and forge new freindships, which can come in handy a lot. but thanks for the compliment." luna said finishing and putting away her things, she then layed down completely wiped from the day, "what about you?" she asked him.

The murmuring started up again loudly and increased as everyone wanted to be heard. "I had heard the Feiry's waited too long..." "Are we going to let the Feiry's boss us around in our own a territory?..." "The Terrian's are joining the Shades? That would mean..." Sarin wanted to go after Tara but wanted to also stay here to calm her clan. She spotted Isis back at the stands again. He too found her sights and looked wround her to search for Tara. Sarin gave a nod to the door and Isis grimiced, motioning for her to go after Tara. Again, Sarin nodded, if reluctantly, and followed the Fire Dragon. "Tara." She said to her after the pair escort had gone ahead of them a ways and they were relatively alone.
Back inside Isis tried to get the Clans attention but had to keep raising his voice louder to be heard. Finally he'd had enough and rawred a high battle cry. Started, most everyone whipped their heads around to try and find what warrented attacking. "That was a bit much." One of the returning elders whispered to him. "Really? I think it was just enough. Nothing else was getting their attention." He fanned his wings to get everyones eyes on him. "I too have seen the hordes and heard what our scouts have to say about the battle between The clans of Dark and Fire. The Feiry Tara says we have to choose within the hour and i think her within the right to demand this." The opposition started again and Isis spoke louder over them, "We've been putting it off for too long. We might as well decide now." "You're going to buckle under a single frozen Feiry?" Someone snarled as another called in a worried tone, "We need to think on a decission this big!" "You've all already thought on it since these skirmishes started and for a few, a few more hours aren't going to change your minds. So ss the elders said, reevaluate your vote and try not to let your past anger get in the way." Isis finshed.
