"how could you tell?" she asked smiling and stepping into the trench "anyways I've got some things I'd like to get caught up on, but first i think you and me should teach these amateurs just how a real snowball fight happens. I've been practicing with ice clan for this." sapphire said as she thumped the side of the trench causing several clumps of snow projectiles to fly out over the wall of the trench almost all finding targets and a few hitting surprised dragons in the face.

"Incoming high! Cover, cover, cover!" Sol said, noticing Fraziel's carpet bombing and putting her shield over the trench. When the worst was over, she looked at her step daughter: "You do what you have to, but i have a score to settle with another old witch. Tell me can you feel if the snow below is hollow?" She asked, now having nullified Starlight's advantages.

"okay" she said walking over to the side of the trench and listening to the vibrations in the snow. "its hollow over there" she said pointing towards a part where a branch poked through.

Ciro rolled his eyes. "I've already healed you before, but yeah, I don't think mom would be too happy if I accidentally turned you blind again." he said, still hovering. "I don't really want to wade through all the audience people, so I'm just gonna wait by the exit. See you there!" He climbed steeply into the air and winged away over the crowded arena, waving.

"Soooool'Luuuux..." Starlight's voice called over the treetop, slightly muffled by the soft snow. Then she burst from the ground, chucked a wave of snow at Pheonicia on the way, and landed in the trench. Scooping a fistful of the wall she whirled, "Called me a witch will you! Well so be it the!" With a cackle she threw her ammunition.

Sol'Lux jumped from the crouch she assume dn the trench, flying over Starlight's shot. She landed at arm's length, grabbed the blue dragon's head and mercilessly smacked her down into the puffy snow, raising a white cloud all around. "I call this melee, Starsickle." Sol said and bakced away, putting soem distance between the two of them.

while sol'lux dealt with starlight sapphire jumped out of the trench and had started nailing dragons with snowballs some of which gave up the fight as a result of being frozen cold to the bone. she was now fighting a wind dragon who was trying to use a sharp breeze to blow the loose snow towards her to blind her but she dove under at the worst part right when he launched snowball in and realized the dragon had been swirling the snow around her area so she popped up behind him and launched a flurry of snowballs at him.

Starlight slowly lifted her head out of the snow like a newly awakened lagoon monster. "Melee? RAWR! Melee it is then Rainbow!" With another mock bellow she charged. Caked in snow from Sol'Lux's attack and some stray fire that kept falling into the trench Starlight looked like some snow monster.

Seriena vanished when the all out war of snowballs took place making her descend to a nearby fire that a massive dragon and a few others were hanging out at. She would have stayed at the snowball fight but she really didn't want to dry all her fur once the snow started sticking and melting, as it is her tail now weighs a hundred pounds heavier from the water it collected. As the dragoness landed softly on the dusty dry ground and started walking toward the fire while violently whipping her tail to both sides to strain the water out, she noticed a familiar evil demonic feeling lurking far behind her. She turned and looked over the sage green trees noticing a orange glow in the distance. The furred dragon smiled with happiness then charged over the trees in unimaginable speed as she neared Scourge undetected. Seriena laughed quietly as she grabbed a dragon Halberd from a weapons rack near the trainer's booth and charged at the demon. "Hey Scourge?" She called out as she landed gripping the weapon's pole with both hands and widely swung the axe head at Scourge's cranium when she ran up behind him on her long hind legs.
Scourge was showing his servant to Iskander when a completely random voice caught him off guard. He had a split second before he noticed that he was in imminent danger and responded violently. The demon pulled his mace off his back and swung it at the ambusher with one hand only to deflect the weapon. The Halberd was destroyed when it made contact to the demonic weapon giving the demon a reason to strike. Scourge let out a deafening growl when he readied his weapon and lunged at the heavenly dragon. "Wait you win!" Called out Seriena when she dropped what was left of the weapon she tried to use to attack the demon. She quickly took a few steps back dodging the jagged head of the Core of Destruction when Scourge swung it horizontally at her. The demon was about to continue another swing from the left but hesitated when he figured out who it was, letting his huge weapon's head drop into the dirt. "What, it can't be! Is that really you Syll?" Spoke the demon unsure as he lifted his weapon off the dirt road with clumps of earth still lodged into the mace's unpleasant spikes. He lifted his Core over and onto his right shoulder then placed the black handle next to his neck where the hook like spike rested on his chest plate. He stood there staring carefully at her waiting. Seriena carefully set herself down on all fours and walked up smiling at him looking as if she was trying her hardest not to laugh, "It's been a while now has it Scourge, three thousand years now more like? Sorry I thought you would know it was me ambushing you like that!" Scourge slowly showed a grin when she reasoned the sudden ambush to him. "Well for the record you almost had me!" He responded gladly as he hooked his mace to his back hook and walked up to her to greet her. He held his hand out waiting for a handshake when he stopped in front of her. The furred dragoness gladly freed her right hand from the ground and locked her talons around Scourge's twisted chard appendage saying, "It's an honor like always to meet an old friend Scourge Dramorox'Murridea!" Scourge smiled and honored back, "As do I Seriena Derailieis!" As they happily shook hands, blue fire erupted around their fingers.
The demon king's dragon looked at Iskander then tilted his head at him confused then looked back at the two beings.

"Fine." Taranis growled to Dinara. The two dragons put a stop to their circling elements, but kept a locked death glare. Finally the air dragon turned his back with a disgusted huff and took off. "Yeah thats right, run away." Taranis whispered to himself. He pushed past everyone to get to the sign up sheet for his age, and before signing, he got a quick look at all the competitors. Luckily only one air dragon had signed up so far, "Jet", that had to be that jerk. After signing he asked the supervisor when their events would begin. "Around the semi finals. They have you little ones entertain while we let the last fighters rest up." Taranis gave a smile and thanked the dragon, this was better than he thought. Not only would he get to beat the crap out of that gusty gimp, but everyone would be there to watch. Filled with anticipation, he headed to the arena to watch the others fight and study their moves. Upon arriving he noticed Ciro and Tea fly off, "Huh, wonder what they're up to? Oh well. HEY DAD!" Gorn turned to his son and waved, "Hey boy, come to watch the fight?" "You know it. Where are those two off to?" Taranis asked about his siblings. "Looking for a magical cave under the tree, just the usual." Gorn explained keeping his eyes on the match. "Ah, and wheres mom?" Taranis sat down next to his dad. "Not really sure, but..." Gorn tilted his head, out of the sky a stray clump of snow came out, missing Gorn and pelting the guy sitting next to him. "...I have an idea." He finished with a smile. The dragon was not very happy. He picked up the snow and balled it up, then judging from impact and trajectory he figured where it had come from. Give it a good strong throw he launched it right back to where it came. While it seemed he had thrown it left of his target, it curved in the air hitting its mark perfectly. (You guys can pick who gets a surprise snowball.) Gorn looked at the dragon with astonishment. "Dude, nice throw!" The dragon gave a smile. "Th-th-th-thanks."

sol'Lux lied down as Starlight was closing in on her, her head resting in her hands and the biggest grin in the world on it. Just as they were about to clash, she vanished into thin air. With a massive wing flap, she created a snow storm around their position, flying behind Starlight to execute a surprise attack.
"Signed?" "Yep. But now many will have to suffer before we meet in the arena." Tara smiled devilishly. Immediately, a messenger told her she was up in the first fight. She moved her tail to the battlefield. Her opponent was a huge earth dragon. The skin on him looked like rocks. Meanwhile, Rex moved to the sidelines to watch until it was his turn, but somehow, he thought there won't be much to see in the upcoming round. He moved towards another energy and an ice dragon. "I bet you a beer that asher takes Rocky here down in 30 seconds." he said, sitting down.

"An item thats given away for free at the games? Oh we got ourselves a gambler here." Gorn sarcastically remarked, "Besides, It's too soon to tell. From the looks of it, the big guy is just showing off, while the fire dragoness is examining the arena and her opponent. Obviously she has more fighting experience. However, that rock armor is fire resistant, unless she finds a weak point than shes done for." Gorn squinted and leaned closer to the earth dragon. "And to be honest, I'm not seeing an-" "Lower back right side." Frost interrupted. "The rocks l-l-look a little soft. Few good blows could take it straight off." Gorn was surprised by this ice dragons sight. "How did you?... That throw, quickly spotting weaknesses, you're one of those elite ice snipers aren't you?" Frost smirked. "Guilty as charged. Now lets s-s-see who wins this match shall we?"

"I can guarantee there will be no fire in this fight. Watch and learn." Terexes mentioned and the gong rang, starting the fight.
Tara and the earth dragon circled around each other for a few seconds. While the earth dragon was looking for a spot to hit, Tara was sizing up the ego of her opponent. All of a sudden, she stopped in her tracks and made a face on her opponent. The earth dragon roared and charged at her. Tara jumped, moving backwards and the earth dragon's blow hit the ground. "Weak!" She said and the whole move repeated. She started dodging the blows quickly, every blow backing up a little, until they reached the circle on the floor. The earth dragon had tara for finished, and went to shove her out of the ring. Tara however easily caught his fist and her pointy claws sank in, piercing the thinner skin on his paws with ease. The earth dragon roared in pain, but Tara already spun them around, and with a single blow sent the earth dragon out of the ring. A gong rumbled, declaring the match over. "HA! 21 seconds, what did i tell you? I hope your dear selves didn't sign up, because noone can stand to my sister." Rex boasted, looking forward to when the two of them clash.
Blue mist spewed from Lantea'S skin, with a buzzing sound. Second later, the air slammed together where she no longer occupied space with a lud crack. She reappeared down on the ground. Looking back up, the whole place was swirling with magic, but hopefully it will be clearer down at the roots. She looked left and right, seeing no evidence of the tree being round, just a loooong wall of wood. "Great. ON FOOT." She complained, looking up again to spot her kid brother.

A moment later, Ciro coasted down in a gentle slope to the base of the tree,, landing lightly by Lantea. "Wow, it's bigger than it looks from far away." he said, staring up at the mountainous pillar of the great tree. Each one of its roots would have been large enough for him to fly down, had they been hollow. Ciro briefly recalled the anecdote about someone getting stuck in the tree, and shuddered. "Let's each go one way then meet up on the other side." he suggested, taking the path on the right. "Wait... how are we gonna tell each other if we've found the entrance? That would take way too long." he said, observing the girth of the tree. Beneath its eaves they looked like nothing but a pair of blue and white specks.

"That would take only two weeks." Lantea rolled her eyes at Ciro's suggestion. She looked around and saw no magic at all for a change. "Nothing to see here. What can you tell me about it?" she asked, having a hunch that going either right or left is the wrong way.
