LTGB II: Return of the Games.

Tara's assigned healer scarcely looked up when the competitors returned, continuing to twiddle a small length of string between his long, clawed fingers. "No injuries, I presume?" Metrus asked in a way that suggested that he was fairly certain there would never be any injuries.

"Oh, plenty, just not on me." she nodded towards the earthling, who was getting his crushed hand fixed, "That guy won't be walking for a little while. I can't believe the mob didn't boo me out for that. Probably happened too fast for them." she shrugged and left for the seats, joining the group Terexes has found for himself. "Who are you lot-" she said until she saw a certain white dragon. They didn't see each other on over 10 years. "Come here sparks!" She said, swinging her hand for a sis handshake. "Twig woman from hell!" Phoenicia replied in kind. The two ditched the group immediately and went to talk.

"Or i could jump between the two of you in, say, 15 minutes? To check if anyone found it. That is, unless one of us gets eaten by a tree, which would have been laughing matter for me till few days ago." she said, nervously looking at the sewed gash on her side left by another plant. "Or we could blow up the tree and see if we can find it once it is removed." she said, "I bet you dad brought something we could use with him."

[Morty]

Ciro shook his head. "Even if we could destroy the tree, why would you want to? It's sacred." he said, narrowing his eyes disapprovingly. "I don't know about the jumping, either. Wouldn't that be exhausting? What if you didn't jump far enough and ended up in the tree?" he pointed out. Just the thought of being fossilized in wood like a calcified fetus made his scales crawl.

"Tea...I'm gonna kill you." Taranis sputtered out in between breaths after encountering the illusion. When he cooled off to hear their ideas he just rolled his eyes, "Great. You two figure out a plan, I'm gonna save the rest of my energy. Unlike you dweebs, got an arena battle coming that I want to be ready for." he leaned up against the tree and waited.

[Midnightmoon]

Zephyr was chatting it up excitedly with another energy dragon when the earth dragon he had signed up with came over and tapped him on the shoulder, "Your up kid. You enter on your side over there." He said when he had his attention, pointing to the right. Giving an exuberant nod Zephyr turned to his companion, "Time to show what I've learned." Pushing through the crowd he jumped down to the ramp and slid the rest of the way down. "You ready to watch Isis?" He mumbled to the globe excitedly. The only response he got was it dropping a few degrees for a second then returning to normal. Of course Isis had already made it clear earlier that he had no desire to even acknowledge the arena as a proper battlefield and would there fore ignore anything related to it. Isis's chilly response didn't hinder Zephyr's glee. Taking a few more steps into the arena Zephyr started up a charge and prepared the electrical pathways, like Isis showed him. Unable to resist he emitted a quick showy pulse before reserving his energy.

[Morty]

From the other end of the arena emerged a black dragoness, carrying herself regally to the center ring. Not to be outdone, she flared the markings on her wings and sides, causing ten bright rings of light to shine through her wing membrane, and revealing a jagged white line than ran from her eye to the tip of her tail. "You must be Zephyr." she said, eyeing him coolly. "I'm Vemera, nice to meet you." she added, and proffered her clawed hand for him to shake. It would be interesting to fight another energy dragon. He would need a good strategy if he was to overcome her ability to absorb hostile electricity. She wondered what sort of tricks he could have up his sleeve? Her eyes turned to the orb around his neck...

[Midnightmoon]

"Ya, this is going to be fun." Zephyr responded taking the given hand, fealing the controlled energy. When he let go their opposite charges made static flicker between their retreating claws. He had barely regained his hand when the gong sounded causing him to jump back and out of immediate physical attack range. Then he jumped to the right, after hardly touching the ground, preparing to circle around and ram an electric charge right into Vemera's flank.

[Morty]

Vemera withdrew her crackling hand and dropped into a fighting stance as the gong sounded. She matched Zephyr's movements and circled to keep him in her line of sight, quickly stepping out of the way as he made a charge for her flank. In retaliation she fired off with a hailstorm of rapid blows, teleporting around her foe and delivering a succession of weak but numerous attacks.

((Probability density-- I just love the name of that attack. XD Feel free to dodge/block/counter, it is a hard move to describe without sounding like autohit OTL.))

Zephyr tried to fire wide pulses of energy, a more controlled and energy conservative version of his shock shield, but the blows were too fast to time it right. Putting on his own form of teleportation Zephyr blinked out for a second as he rolled fast beneath Vemera, swiping a claw at her underbelly in passing.

[Morty]

"Ow!" exclaimed Vemera, the unexpected strike throwing off her barrage of teleportation, causing her to slam into the dirt. She quickly righted herself using her own momentum and twisted to face Zephyr again, dust settling around her claws. The stinging blow had caused red welts to form on her underbelly, where pearls of blood were starting to bead. She paid it no mind, instead focusing her energy into one powerful jump, appearing in front of the other energy dragon and following up with a vicious swing of her tail, static trailing from the brushlike tip.

"Fine. You know, i always wanted to do something again, something we did a very looong time ago. And since i have you in a grasp..." Sol'Lux said, tightening her grab on Starlight and her shield forming up, and she quickly accelerated upwards. Their sight blurred into rainbows for a second, and then everything was black, with a little twingling white lights. Above them was them was the planet they just departed, and in front of them was a large red nebula, right where Sol's star used to be. "I stopped calling it home a long time ago, but the sight still makes me kinda sad." she said, as they floated aimlessly.

[Midnightmoon]

After a catching her breath at the sight of sudden open black sky's, Starlight gazed at the red nebula as well. She did't do anything but watch for a few minutes, then, "From what the astronomers say," Starlight started to say softly, "stars die and are born every day. I'm sure your star will shine once again, and you can marvel at it's brilliance."

Zephyr jerked back, but still received a jolt across his face. Doing a little skip back he tried to shake the static from his mind and charged in to get a hold of the other dragon. As he got close he set a current along his scales to prepare an attack Isis showed him, modified of course.

Seriena let go of Scourge's hand and placed it beside her other hand on the ground then asked calmly, "It's great to see you again Scourge but why are here, on this happy little world? After all for a demon like yourself I would never imagine you getting along with anyone here unless it's your brethren!" Scourge shook his head while hiding his smile then looked back at her. "I'm here because of that dragon over there!" he pointed to the large black and crimson dragon sitting next to a fire with several other dragons, "His name is Thorondar Shadowflame a young strong and wise dragon that possesses... Well your husband's weapon from the creator Sax'tus." Seriena gasped when the demon issued that to her making her lock her gaze on the black dragon near the fire. "Are you serious, that is his reincarnation?" She asked surprised. Scourge nodded then said, "Yes indeed it is him but he is not ready to know until his calling, whenever that is." She nodded as well then asked, "Do you think he will know who I am?" Scourge nodded his head disagreeing then said, "No it's impossible but you should use a different form if your planning to converse with him! You might catch his eye in your true form... just a warning ha, ha, ha!" The demon laughed as he turned and walked to his dragon and climbed on it's back. He looked at Iskander then apologized, "Sorry from completely forgetting about you fellow demon! Is there anything else you want to discuss, or perhaps pillage?" He asked evilly as he sat there on his dragon waiting for a response before he made his choice to either go and hang out with Thoron or find a nearby human village to conquer.

[Morty]

"Huh, wha?" Iskander's ears flattened. "Err, no, I ah, I think I've had enough pillaging for one day." he said, laughing nervously. "I think I have to go.. reap some souls now.. ah. It was nice meeting you, sir!" And with that, he bounded into the trees, his ringed rail disappearing behind him.

Realizing her blunder, Vemera danced back frantically to get out of range, but too late. Zephyr bowled into her, the electric charge leaping to her scales a moment before the other dragon made contact. Her back arched as the jolt of electricity kicked her energy regeneration into gear, and her own static shield burst into life, surrounding her body with a high-voltage current.

Zephyr had hardly struck when he was blasted with a cloud of electricity. He could only stand stiff as the electricity ran it's course through him, making it feal like his muscles and tendons were being torn limb from limb. When the electrical peak waned he was flung back. He landed on his two right legs before skidding to a stop and topling over before the ring boundry. "Geko, you fool, she's using a trick that renders electricity useless. Thought you would have realised that when nothing else worked." Isis hissed to him. Zephyr didn't even feal the tell tail temperature change of the spirits pressense. What he could feal was the buzzing of residual energy in his limbs. With a twitch he smashed a clawed hand into the floor and let the electricity find ground. Sore as hell he then tried to stumble to his feat, "G-guess that mean-ns o-old fashion-ned c-c-combat."
