(ooc: pst, there is no ground. the realm. The being/demon is hanging from one of the pillars that is hanging from the clouds above their head)
The creature turned back to Hashin, "That is three questions, and our bargain was for one... But regardless of your disrespect I'll answer you, but you forfeit your time. The Sleeper rests in the depths of the realms and though his awakening allows the attempts of invasions it is not his doing. Besides, any who try would fail, and it has nothing to do with your "living world". Now, a question for a question." He turned back around and took a step out into the air. "My name is Eligor of the Havardi Order and the worlds come to an end-" "Grab him!" Akari yelled, trying to dart forward. "...How can you stop us?" Eligor finished, and fell to the lower clouds and just faded out. Akari hissed, staring down after him. "Time, time, he must have been stalling. Quick, find the next portal, now!"

Hashin pricked his ears up surprised on what just happened and launched off the horizontal ruin when Akari yelled to find the portal now. The wind dragon flew a complete wide circle around the group until he saw a strange disturbance with the clouds. "Hey it's over here!" he yelled hoping it was portal. Hashin flew up to the dragon priestess and pointed to the way and soon took off toward that direction where the clouds swirled.
When he finely got there, those weird bird-like things were perched on top of floating ruins. He thought they wont be of any danger so he went for it. The birds soon launched off their nests and headed his way at attacking speed to cut him off unaware that they were actually going after him.

Akari awquardly twisted round to follow Hashin, desperate to get to the next teir and hopefully to the Sleepers world. Unable to match the air dragons speed she found herself aligned with his objective, the next sinkhole, as the light winged creatures decended from the buildings. They swarmed after him like a flock of coordinated birds, whistling. Akari winged foreward to intercept them. (ooc: filler post not so filling )

Meanwhile someplace farther, Loki's eyes were hypnotizing the shimmering portal that brought them here. It didn't feel like it was created, but more like a tear in existence. And to his undying happiness, he could feel dark magic siphoning from the void. He reached out with his hands. Having practiced dark rituals before, he knew how to handle the non-elemental darkness somewhat. Obeying his chanting, the dark power crept out towards his hands and gathered in violet orbs floating around his wrists. And with a whoosh, the portal closed right after. He turned to tell his new friends that he managed to trap them here, but was surprised they already found another way out. Along with more things that looked hungry for dragon steak. Flicking his wrist, one of the orbs he gathered made his way towards his forehead and sunk in. "I'm helpin' I'm helpin'!" he said, part of his energy renewed. Sweeping over the birds, he sprayed a few with acid.

Under Loki's cover Akari finally got to the next portal to find a web of silvery magic coverying it. "He did something to it. That Eligor person did something to the portal!"

"Catch!" Loki shouted, sending one of the shadow orbs towards Akari and another towards Hashin. "did something... haha, very descriptive." Loki snarked, dodging the birds that now focused on him.

Akari didn't see the magic hit her back, but felt the energy that boosted her own. The result was akin to when she was under the full moon; dragon form but filled with magic. It crossed her mind that she could now help in attacking thr birds now that she could relie upon her ranged magic, but instead set herself to the task of figuring out the web and getting them out of there. She shook her head and called, "A web of magic is set over the portal." She reached out a hand to touch it tentatively, but pulled back when the closest patch reached out for her as well, as if by a breeze. A section of the flock whizzed by and their collective cries made one of the strands resonate minutely before they left going for one of her companions. Reaching down for that one that had reacted Akari saw it didn't shift as strongly as the other patch before. "Magic be made, magic be undone." She murmered, deciding she'd try and cut it with magic and pray for the best. Moving into a better position she pulled some of the magic Loki had given her to the claws in one hand and swipped out. The apparently weaker thread severed and disolved.

Luring part of the flock away, Loki hoped to get time. Pulling off one crazy maneuver after another to dodge them, he was running out of breath. When he got far away enough, he turned around midflight to face the pursuing flock, enveloping them in his reaping cloud. After a few weakening screams, only bones remained afloat in this strange dimension. he returned to the portal as quickly as he could, guarding Akari's back: "Hurry!"

"Heyhey, this stuff is delicate. I wouldn't be surprised if it's set to be a trap as well as a block." Akari growled, reaching out for another strand with more haste despite her own warning. Instead of cutting through this time her fingers stuck and when she tried to pull away tendrils pealed up and wrapping around her wrist with a snap. Akari inhale sharply wary on how to continue without getting the rest of herself caught. The birds came back shrilly and another thread on the other side of the web shivered. With her free hand she snipped the thread, then the next ones that followed as the birds got louder, and closer. As the last one dissolved a tune floated away from the portal, the notes resembling a strange melody in sweet bird whistles. Her had released, she called over her shoulder, "Clear!"

"Good, anywhere better than here!" Loki shouted and cowardly pushed around the silver dragoness, fleeing the weird dimension. When the portal spat him out, he couldn't thank the gods enough. "Home!" He called out and turned around, ready to close the portal like he did before right after everyone else appeared on this side... or before the first monster crossed to his home.

(Ooc: yep ) Akari dropped in herself and landed on her feet on the other side, quickly moving to clear space for Hashin to get through. She must have spent more time as a dragon within the last few hours then she had in the past few weeks. "We can't be back at the beginning." She found herself mumbling, stopping herself short of a frenzy. Taking deap breaths she paced in agitation. Looking up she found the moon wasn't completely full this night and was relieved. She reined in her magic and became human, still pacing without skipping a beat.

Vatten jerked awake with a start, purple eyes shooting wide and then narrowing in concentration. What had woken him up? A voice. He strained his ears in the darkness. The cry of relief that followed the silence was so loud it very nearly gave him a heart attack. "Home!" My home, he thought, uncurling in his den. He made his way to the rocky mouth and craned his neck, trying to see the source of the disturbance. Still unable to get a good look, he stepped outside, shattering the moon's reflection in the still water of a nearby tidal pool. Another, quieter voice floated down from the rocky ridge above. There! A dim glow illuminated part of the short cliff's crest. He squinted. There was definitely at least one dragon up there. He fanned his wings and caught a thick ocean wind, letting it throw him up to a ledge a short distance from the top. The silvery dragon hooked his claws on the crest and hauled himself the rest of the way up in a single, sinuous heartbeat. He blinked. The light was coming from . . . a portal? He'd never seen such a thing in person before, but he could make a good guess. Still, it was no reason to stand speechless in front of the (obviously confused) travelers who had so politely ruined his much-needed sleep. "Welcome home!" Vatten exclaimed, sitting back on his haunches and throwing his arms wide. "If I'd known you'd be back so soon, I'd have got you something! Darn."

(Ooc: Heheh, i like him already.)
Akari turned quickly, one hand floating towards her sword while the other brought her staff foreward from her back. It was just another dragon. She scowled at first then huffed to taken on a more polite expression and relaxed a touch again. "Sorry to disturbe you." Akari started after a pause, "We've had a long-" How long had it been? "...day. Would you be so inclined to tell us exactly where on the continent we are?"

Vatten found himself looking down at the speaker. While her voice was decidedly feminine, she was also decidedly not a dragon. Oh, brilliant! More than a decade of studying anatomy, and you've deduced that she's not a dragon. Your parents would be proud. Vatten crinkled his muzzle in response to this thought. He knew what a human was, he just hadn't expected to see one here. He recomposed his expression and answered the question. "Northern coast of the eastern inlet. And would you be so inclined to tell me exactly what has happened to you all?"

Akari tapped her staff, wondering how she was going to explain their sittuation without sounding absolutely mad. However she decided to go about this would sound crazy, but she could live with that, especially if they weren't going to be living much longer. She took a deap breath, "This here is a portal sustained by the weakoning wall between this world and another dimmenssion. There was another one out in a sea cave a ways off the coast. We've spent the last while going through this portals fighting demons and othr creatures to figure out why the portals are appearing."
