Name: Oltyth
Age:
Gender: Male
Element: Earth
Appearance: Oltyth is a muscular, thickset brown dragon. His eyes are a fiery golden color, and he has large, blocky spines on his neck, shoulders, and back. Unusually, he has no wings, but he is so efficient on the ground that he has little need for them. His claws are blunt, and while not very good for tearing, they make potent bludgeoning weapons. His mouth is very large, all the better to argue with.

Fanart: By Midnightmoon - (Old version: )
Behavior: Oltyth loves nothing more than to argue. He is as unmovable as the earth he controls, and will look for any excuse to disagree with another. This habit has led to more than a few scuffles, and Oltyth has learned all he knows about fighting from these skirmishes. Mostly, he's learned that he loves fighting.
Surprisingly, he has a gentle side that no dragon ever sees. His voice is unexpectedly musical when he's not yelling or growling, which is rarely. He loves plants, even though they don't argue, and uses his powers to care for any plant he can. He also won't eat vegetables. Many view this as an attempt to show off his "toughness," but in reality, the thought of eating plants just makes him sick.
History: His father was a warrior, his mother, surprisingly, a singer. Apart from those facts, Oltyth knows little about them. He was raised by his grandfather, a merchant and an excellent storyteller with a hint of water dragon blood. He isn't quite clear on what happened to his parents, since his grandfather steered the conversation away whenever Oltyth mentioned it. Eventually he tired of trying to pry the truth from his tight-lipped grandfather, and embracing his father's fighting spirit, left to seek out his parents.
In hindsight, he realizes that it was a bit of a stupid decision to renounce all ties to his grandfather and just leave, but he'll never admit it.
Powers: He can cause accelerated growth in plants and bring dead or dying plants back to life. Oltyth can sculpt the earth in his favor and hurl boulders at his opponents in battle.
Other: Oltyth wears a pouch filled with seeds around his neck, so if he is disadvantaged by a lack of solid earth, he will not be completely powerless. He learned this trick from his grandfather's stories of the clan wars.
He gets along reasonably well with fire dragons.
