Name: Corag
Gender: Male
Element: Ice/Water
Age: Adult
Class: Hunter
Physical traits: Athletic, deep-chested dragon with white scales that shimmer metallic grey/blue when the light catches them. He is very streamline, with spiny fins running down his back and on his tail/elbows. His wings are broad but narrow like an albatross's: good for manoeuvering on the stiff ocean breezes, but not so good at inland flight. His eyes are silver with a thin black rim and black slitted pupils.
Past: Corag has spent most of his life living off of the rocky, storm-battered coast. He learned to hunt both on land and at sea at a young age, following herds of snowbeasts across the ice or plunging beneath the freezing waves to chase schools of fish. He has travelled widely over the colder parts of Dragon-Essence, rarely venturing into the more temperate regions.
Personality: A courteous, witty dragon with a macabre sense of humour. He is hospitable and dependable. He can be aloof to people who don't strike him as genuine, but he is always forthright with people who seem trustworthy-- and he is very forgiving in this respect. He is confident in his ability to defend himself and the interests of others if necessary. Though he rarely initiates hostilities, he is not one to run from a fight.
Misc: Corag is most at home in cold, miserable weather. Only the most hellish of squalls can keep him shorebound; storm-flying is an exciting sport to him. While Corag thrives in freezing temperatures, warm weather makes him nauteous, and hot weather can make him genuinely ill. He also has trouble taking off from the ground without a cliff or a breeze to help him; staying aloft in a becalmed state is nearly impossible.
As for his fighting style, he is well-balanced between attack, speed, and defense. He will use physical or magical attacks as the situation demands. Being raised as a hunter, he prefers to use strategy rather than brute force, and is adept at using the environment to his advantage.
Abilities:
Passive
Aquatic: Due to his water clan heritage, Corag can breathe underwater and is an excellent swimmer.
Active
Frost breath [Mid-range] A breath attack that leaves the target chilled to the bone and coated in frost. May affect mobility. Can be used to freeze a target's limbs to the ground, or flash-freeze an enemy's water attack, etc. (10 mana)
Icebreaker [Close-range] Corag's signature hunting move is to glide beneath the surface of the ice until he's positioned directly beneath a prey animal. Then, he forms an icy spike at the front of his body, propelling himself with a jet of water, and bursts through the ice, spearing the target. (15 mana)
Barrier [Close-range] Corag can quickly draw up a wall of ice from a nearby source of water, stopping incoming projectiles. (10 mana)
Wave crash [Mid-Range] Corag slices through the water, creating a wall of surf to crash down on his opponents. (only works near a body of water) (20 mana)
Snowglobe [Ultimate] Corag surrounds his opponent in a giant orb of water, then freezes it solid. Shattering the orb can kill certain foes, but larger/more resilient ones may only be stunned. (40 mana)
