History:
Originating from another dimension, Tenebris was a nether spirit that was summoned into an unhatched dragon via magic, changing the dragon to be into a nightmare. After hatching, his first act upon this world was banishing his own "parents" to his home dimension and slaughtering the nearby observers before being contained. Since then he was trained for the upcoming war to counter the mightiest of warriors.
Netherdrakes:
Barely corporeal beings, Netherdrakes look like liquid darkness that took form. They are completely black, absorbing any and all light that shines on them, but parts of their bodies glow, usually green or blue. They are beasts made of magic. The only way to rid yourself of a netherdrake is to interrupt their connection with their home dimension, in which case they simply dissipate into nothingness.
Their magic is closes to that of the dark dragons, who also summon them the most. Summoning a nether drake takes two to four sacrifices, whose unresting souls guide the nether spirit into the corporeal world, and an unhatched egg, which acts as a vessel for the spirit. The hatchling is taken over, and shortly after hatching grows into full shape.
Netherdrakes, as anything that comes from Nether, are naturally dark an evil. They do not draw pleasure or anything like that from it - they simply know nothing else. The full extent of their abilities is unknown, but most netherdrakes use their magic in destructive ways, like disintegration, mutation or corruption. The most dangerous are however the psionic netherdrakes, but those are very rare.

Tenebris can shapeshift into many forms, some of his choosing, some uncontrollably.
Dragon form (Standard)
[Elemental] Shadowbend (10): Tenebris can mold a shadow into any shape and use it as a physical object. The target of this spell does not cast shadow until said item is destroyed.
[Shield] Nullsapce (10): Tenebris creates magical vacuum around him, trapping all magic attacks thrown at him and either deflecting them back at the caster with half their strength, or absorbing them (recovers 50% of mana required to cast the attack)
[Ranged] Null beam (15): An invisible beam that fires alongside his sight, it changes the existence probability of atoms in it's path to 0. It can disintegrate any inorganic material. the healing ability of organic tissue and any amount of magic are however impenetrable by this spell.
[Transport] Nether gate (100): Tenebris can transport himself and up to two others to his home dimension. Time flows a hundred times faster in the nether than in the normal world. As this dimension is the source of his powers, Tenebris is enlarged, has unlimited mana and receives 100% boost to his physical abilities while remaining there. When returning, he can target any shadow on the world to appear in.
Spectre form (50) - Semi-corporeal form stuck halfway between Nether and normal world. It is intangible, but suffers greatly from magical attacks. It has good chance of failing and being turned into full neter gate instead. The transformation is accompanied by blast of raw neter magic which mutates anything in his immediate area into more netherly creatures.
[Elemental] Shadowblend (5): In this form, Tenebris can dissolve in shadows and remain invisible. He can't, however, do anything else.
[AoE] Zero probability blast (10): Tenebris can dissolve into a cloud that disintegrates anything it touches. The healing ability of organic tissue and any amount of magic are however impenetrable by this spell.
[Ultimate] Unbind (50): Tenebris changes his opponent into another spectre with the same abilities. Target only reamins unbound for a minute, as they are usually not natural nether creatures.
Undead form (60) - In this form, Tenebris usually takes the shape of a skelleton. This form has no magic, but has greatly increased physical abilities. It is affected by environment (see below).
[Special] Rapid healing: Skelleton form can quickly recover from damage. Only stronger blows have any effect.
[Environment] Werewolf form: At full moon, Tenebris will instead take shape of a werewolf. While not posessing the skeleton form's healing, it makes up for it with far greater speed.
[Environment] Vampire form: At lunar eclipse, Tenebris will instead change into a vampire. As such, his abilities remain the same, but he slowly siphons magic energy from those around him.
Mythological form (80) - Tenebris shapeshifts into a mythological beast with all of it's abilities.
Crystal demon: Heavily armored humanoid form with ice magic. Very slow.
Phoenix: Exactly that. Wields fire magic, but combusts every five minutes and it takes another minute to grow back into adult shape.
Wraith: Ghostly form. Wields air magic, but can not atack physically, while still receiving physical damage.
Ghost form (inaccessible) - Final nether form. As ghost, Tenebris would be invisible, capable of teleportation and wielding psionic abilities.
