"No, really? A death god being deadly? Who'd have thought?" he asked mockingly, although in reality he was beginning to panic slightly. "Stay out of my mind," he warned the other dragon as he retreated into thought. Joy. There's a chance my parents are already dead, and if this disease spreads to the major colonies, they will be. 'Course, if that happens, I'll probably die too, so it might not make that much difference. Just one thing I need to check... "This disease you mentioned, you said it threatens to wipe us all out, no? So I take it that this "death disease" affects dragons, possibly humans, and apparently--" He glanced up at the temple. "--Even gods? In my eyes, that leaves only one question--" He drew himself up to his full height, and spoke with all seriousness. "Does this disease kill plants?"

"You got me." Fireheart shrugged, "Some of them might even be the cure we are searching for, but so far we noticed only non-plant life forms suffering from it. But... You might have a point there...." He thought for a second. "Do you want to come with us? I don't know why you care so much for plants, but i guess that's non of my business. But if there is a threat to them, we have much better chance for saving everyone together."

"Fine. I'll come, but only until we find out about the plants, got it? If there is a threat to them, then I'll help you find the cure. If there isn't, I leave, you understand me? Let's get your buddies and leave." Oltyth yanked more platforms from the mountain, enough to lead to the summit, and hopped up two of them before he turned. "You coming?"

Oltyth sighed and looked from the portal to his steps. "Thanks, but I think I can handle things by myself," he whispered after Fireheart had left and surged up the remaining platforms.

"Yo!" Fireheart's head and hands popped back, "I said get used to it. We have to act quickly and that means travel quickly if we ever hope to stop the disease." he shouted and pulled him to the portal "See? Didn't even hurt."

"Get off." Zarin grabbed wolf and pulled him off his face. "OK that was weird." He listened to Dinara's question. "I guess i have to tell you. Because Chaos is doing all this stuff he isn't doing his job either. and being death means he transports souls from this place to where they go. that means in his time of not doing that all who have died have been lost souls wandering this world until Death comes." Zarin looked up. "I have to go now but ill do my best to help you while im up there." Zarin waved goodbye and then in a giant flash was gone. "Well, now what?" Gorn said as he noticed Fire was gone.

The portal opened and Oltyth tumbled out. He stood up, somewhat shakily. "See? Didn't even hurt." Oltyth looked up at the sound of Fireheart's voice, irritated by his calm tone. He growled deep his throat, ignoring the others dragons on the mountaintop. "Next ti--" Oltyth was cut short by a wave of nausea. He shook his head to clear it of the sensation, and tackled Fireheart before it returned. "Next time, warn me before you do that!" he snarled.

Dinara glared slightly at the earth dragon they had met in the Kurian forest and was not on top of Fireheart. She smacked him across the head with her fined tail and said, "Hey, be nice. He was just helping out. Besides, looks like you needed it. You look like your going to fainted of exhaustion any second now.

"Well, what a group. Loner, weirdo, blind and extremely rude. Looks like you are crashing the party with your normality." he said to Dinara with a crazy smile. "Now, what do we know? Same as before we came here but Zarin mentioned Chaos hid the cure, that means it isn't big or it's ammount isn't big. BUT, he said it's unlimited supply, so i think it must be re-usabe. Plus, it has to heal instantly. I can only think about some sort of artefact or spell, any more suggestions?" He thought. "If it is an artefact, i think we have to visit the temple of death. But where do we find a darkness dragon i don't know, and i doubt doggy will understand if we ask him. And spell is the same, it has to be written somewhere." He shrugged. "I am out of ideas."

Oltyth growled at Dinara, and retreated to nurse the welt that had appeared across his face. Her fin may not have been hardened at that point, but it still stung from the blow. As the mark faded, Oltyth put his chin down on the ground, and listened halfheartedly to Fireheart's rambling. There were some names he didn't know, and so he zoned out completely. There was an excellent view of the ground from where he was sitting. He twiddled his blocky fingers and practiced his skills on some pebbles. One of them landed on an ant. Whoops. Oh well... He looked up again. Fireheart was still yakking. However, just as Oltyth lowered his head to watch the ants again, Fireheart said something that made him raise a rocky eyebrow. "...I doubt doggy will understand if we ask him..." Oltyth scanned the group, and his eyes settled upon a black-and gold-furred dragon that had to be the one Fireheart meant. Hmm... "Why? What's wrong with him?" he blurted out as Fireheart finished and looked expectantly around the group.

"Oh well... Technically, all he do is snarling, barking and behaving like a dog. Gorn here seems to be the only one who can understand that stuff." he made an ironic smile, "Does it matter if i ask for your opinion on the cure-thing? Because it looked to me like you were not listening." he pointed at the rock that smacked the ant.

Oltyth grinned sheepishly, caught off guard. "Heh. Erm... didn't think you saw that," he said. He thought back, trying to remember what Fireheart had said. "Well if it's a spell, it had better affect large groups, or we're going to end up spending a whole lot of time curing individuals, and would probably miss some. Then the disease would just return. Same for an artifact." He glanced over at the wolfy-looking dragon. "You sure Fluffy here hasn't dropped any hints?"

Fireheart knew he wasn't listening, but he wasn't mad because he remembered."Positive. He wanted but Chaos stopped him. That is how we found out he is involved. Now if we want to do some progress, we have to find him first. That is why we were here, but learned nothing about that. Maybe we shall split into groups." he said, thinking loud. "I also prepared a surprise for him once we find him, and i may even expand it. But that will require me to visit Earth, what can be good in yet another way, because Earth is my failsafe. If we fail here, we must geather everyone healthy and join the dragons there." OT: Muhaha, now we'll see if we will have happyend or apocalypse

"Leave Dragon Essence? Are you insane?" Oltyth cried, his voice creeping towards dangerously girly tones. He cleared his throat roughly. "And you think that to stop this disease, we have to seek out the god of death, right?" he asked skeptically. He once again resisted the urge to rap the gold and black dragon on the head, although just barely.
