It's been a long time since the dragons of Dragon-Essence battled Desperanus. Most of them have grown old, and a new generation has taken over. They are all scattered across the planet, thriving on their own. But whispers of trouble and evil and seething across the land, and everyone, both Human and Dragon, are in serious trouble. And no one knows why, except for a new rumor: The God of Death has unleased a terrible plague, one that eats the life and soul out of everything. And only the true elementals can stop them and the planet from fading into death and despair.......

"So, mother, your sacrifice bought us some time. We had several years of piece, disrupted only by human senseless wars. I don't know what did you do to me 19 years ago, but i have changed that day. If you saw my destiny, i hope you are still there and will guide me." said Fireheart and rubbed a crystal statue of his mother. He was coming here every year, at the day his mother left. "But now something happend, mother. I do not know what is wrong, but i think the time has come for me to take action." he looked at the night sky and looked at the stars. But he couldn't read anything there, except the star of his mother. It was shining brighter than anytime ever. He smiled and left the crystal valley. HE was flying to the frozen lake to find one of his mother's friends.

Wolf smelled food and humans. He knew this was obviously a trap, made by humans to catch him, Wolf, the terror of the Northern Mountains. Slipping through the misty forest, a breeze ruffling his fur, Wolf ran with the freedom of wild ones through time. He too heard those rumors, but he was not concerned by them. Bounding through the forest, he started leaping up the stone ledges to where he lived.

Fireheart was flying slowly trough the snow storm, randomly shouting Starlight's name to all direction's and trying to reach her with his mind. The storm was stronger every second and he was forced to land. "Maybe i am searching on the wrong place. Maybe she remained in the fortress Zarin wanted to build. Argh... Nuts... This weather is insane." he said to himself and covered his face with his wing. The wind was pushing him back, but at least his eyes didn't hurt. He shouted again and sent a signal light up to the sky and then digged into the snow to wait until the storm goes away.

A snowstorm was brewing in the Irihel Mountains, yet Wolf could still hear the men below. "They must be in some sort of cave, though that won't protect them for long." Wolf thought. His own fur protected him, all black and glossy with those golden stripes.

"Hey mom, I think I hear something." Dinara said as she just finished her slidding along the ice of Frozen Lake. She and Starlight had planned to do this all day while her father, Lok, watched smiling from the hole in the ice. "Now that you mention it I do too." Her mom responded turning her head off in the direction of the noise. Dinara saw a flash of gold through the snow. The blizzard that was going on didn't other the two of them or her father because of the water and ice base, but the golden thing seemed to be having trouble. Her mom started to laugh and took off. She disappeared into the air and came back with a snow dragon, hints of golden scales beneath, dangling in her claws beneath her as she flew. Her mom set the dragon down on the ice and landed beside him to start wiping off the snow laughing under her breath. "I think there is a dragon under here!" Dinara laughed too and started to help.

Fireheart sneezed and all snow shook off. "Sorry" he apologized and then recognized Starlight. "Oh, hi. It's been a while." he looked at Dinara. "A bigger while. I saw you last time as one year old hatchling. I'd like to speak about past years, but i am afraid we have a problem. The stars are saying that the island is in great danger. Do you know what it might be?" He looked to his mother's star. Shall i tell them? The star twinkled. He looked back at Starlight, Lok and Dinara. "My mother sent me a message. About my destiny. There is few dragons that can stop it. I am one of them, and..." He looked back on the star "Dinara, you just might be another. All of us are form this generation, and all of us master two elements. That is what i know."

"That's cool. But what's the danger exactly and who else is there?" Dinara asked, excited about a adventure.
"Yes, tell us what Sol'Lux has been telling you." Starlight insisted. She then beckoned over to Lok to come over and when he got out of the water and was on Dinara's other side she made a ice igloo to keap out the blizard. "You'll have to teach me that one." Dinara said to her mother.

"I was hoping you can answer what is the danger. I have been living 15 years alone, i am kinda desorientated. About others, i would rather find out what it is first and deal with it myself, but if they happen to cross my way, i am willing to let them join. If you tell me where can i find you, i'll informate you as soon as i know something. I think you know who i want to ask next, You and my mother knew that human prety well. Now, if you excuse me?" he said and created a portal for himself.

"Wanna bet i can?" joked fireheart "Fine by me if you mom allows you." he pointed at Starlight, "I am taking no responsibility. But there won't be much to happen, not to mention fun. Just follow." he said and went trough the portal, waiting on the other side if Dinara appears.

Starlight looked at Lok and when he nodded she said. "Ok but remember all of what we taught you." Dinara nodded vigerously and jumped through the golden portal. After she was gone Starlight stopped smiling and said sadly, "And yet another crisis hits dragon essense." She sighed curled up with Lok and they both fell to sleep with the blizzard still howling out side...

Wolf heard a crunch behind him and whirled around, snarling, to see a strange dark dragon (Chaos), about his size. It's eyes were a dull red, like it was being controlled by something. He? spoke in a small, but powerful voice. "Wolf.." Wolf snarled, well, like a wolf. "How do you know my name?" "I have seen your future, Wolf, and it is not pretty. Some strange dragons will come looking for you, and it results in your death. I, Chaos, am the god of death, have seen it. Do not trust anyone, Wolf, or you will perish!!!" With that, the god of Death, Chaos, dissapeared, leaving a puzzled Wolf behind. "Well," Wolf thought. "I better listen to the god of death and not trust anyone, I still want a long life." Licking down his black and gold fur on his back and wings, Wolf decided to patrol the mountain. Giving his paws one last lick, he bounded off, wary of any approaching danger. (OT: Don't worry, i thought about this alternative, and well, if you insist on wiping out life on DE and will do anything to do so, i got a plan ) When Dinara walked trough, Fireheart just swung his hand in the direction. They were heading to the village near the Cave city, wich grew from the refuge caves that they used to live in. "You are sure lucky you wasn't here when we used these" he said to Dinara when they were flying around. "Boulders, rock, and Ivy with her special mood... Nothing fancy." he joked, "Maybe we shall pay her a visit. She may know somethi..." He suddenly stopped and smelled something. "Smoke. Burned wood and... Flesh." he said and hurried forward. |

(OOC: Don't worry, I not pulling at that just yet, I'm just causing Wolf to have suspicions, {spoiler alert}.)
Wolf patrolled the Irihel mountains, starting with his own, the original Irihel (it mean's icehome in my language, which we call the Speech.) Suddenly, he smelled smoke, and more importantly flesh. But those scents came from a long way off, Wolf knew he couldn't reach it in time, even with his speed. Killing a caribou, he started eating it, savoring the flavor of both the blood and the flesh itself.
