The Disease

"Calm down buddy, you are going to be fine." Said Fireheart, step closer to him, raised his hand and used the little of light inside him to give that blue dragon some energy. "the portal you came from wasn't any sort of teleportation, that means it had to be a timehole. What year was it or what was happening when you left? That might give us origin to count from." he suggested, keeping feeding the dragon with energy, but he felt it was draining much more from him than the dragon recieved. He stopped and took something from his bag. "Eat these. The taste is probably much worse than what you are getting trough right now, but they give you energy and the taste stays only few seconds." he said holding few leaves.

Wolf slowly and painfully woke up. He felt like he had been beaten all over, and the small dark dragon, in human form, stood over him. He was in chains, all four paws secured to stakes, and a muzzle around his mouth, making him unable to speak or growl. All he could do was whimper.

Oltyth watched skeptically as Fireheart offered the new arrival some energy herbs.
That reminds me, he thought. "What are the symptoms of the disease?" he asked.

Fireheart stopped. He thought for a second if there is a possibility that his herbs are infected, but then remembered that he picked them up before the disease arrived. He gave them to the blue dragon and turned around. "Well... Humans feel great pain as it quickly disintegrates their inner organs, it comes to dragons with little nausea, then spasm and then it's over. What we know so far, it didn't take much of dragons, but it wiped out human villages..." he was stopped by a voice: "Fireheart? Can y...u hea... ...e? It'... Sha...on. ...ou mus... NOT ... The con...inent! ... Disease ... Kille... ...most ev...ryone!" then the voice vanished. "Did she said what i think she did?" he said, his face fading into white.

Kohta started to eat the leaves. Engergy was surging through him. He barely even noticed the taste. But something seemed wrong. One of the dragons was paralyzed. He seemed to be frightened. "What is wrong?" Kohta asked. "And I came from a battle training place. There was the great Zarin with my father, Darkring. Is there anyway I can help? You both seem troubled by something." Even though Kohta was weak, he was very worried and wanted to help in anyway he could.

"It's nothing..." stuttered Fireheart, "There is just a dangerous... Disease and... It almost wiped out the humanity on the planet..." He looked at the stars that started to appear as the sun was setting. "So you must be Kohta." continued Fireheart with normal voice, but he was still afraid. "You just went 19 years forward in time." he explained to him. "We must act quickly. If the disease had so many victims on the continent, it will now spread with insane speed, and we might as well be gone very soon." he said and opened the portal to the temple of Death. "I must go to the temple. Hopefully the cure is there." he said and jumped trough, landing in a cave.

When Fireheart dissapeared. Kohta turned to Oltyth, "What is your name?" he questioned.

Dinara had gone through the second portal that Fireheart had made and had gone through with him. They must have landed in a different location in the temple compared the wolfie cuz he was no where to be seen. Looking around the place was all stone and had cobweb as well as many shadow everywhere. Despite being a ice dragon a chill shivered up her spine. "Love what he's done to the place." she said dryly. The portal was still open behind them.

Fireheart reached out of his mind, trying to locate any powerful items and living beings. When his mind returned to his body, he said: "I am afraid we'll have to face him sooner or later. I can't find any clue on where to go. We are blind here, so i suggest we start searching door by door." he said and came to the hall. He managed to take down one dark dragon guard without making much noise and pulled the body to the cave that it will be hidden. Then he used his light powers to make him and Dinara look black.

Kohta waited for no answer. He jumped throught the portal after the other dragons. I have a feeling that I should learn theire names. he contacted his ancestors. Kohta soon learned that their names were, Oltythe, dinara, and Fireheart. "Please, let me help you!" He pleaded. "I have a feeling i can help."

[Midnightmoon]

"Shhhhh!" Dinara said quickly. "We're trying not to be caught. If Chaos is the enemy and this is his territory then it is not a good idea to be noisy! I'm sure you can help just be quiet!" She turned back and gigfled quietly. "Gosh this is fun. I feal like a secret agent."

[Kauria]

Oltyth hissed in frustration as all the dragons entered the portal individually. Ugh... Why do they always have to keep jumping into situations like that? Is there no such thing as a rest around here? Never mind. Forget I asked that. The earth dragon emitted an exasperated growl as he paced in front of the swirling blue portal. Fine. I'll follow them, but only to see if I missed anything. Then I'm asking Fireheart to get me off this miserable rock.
Annoyed by his willingness to cooperate, he sprang through the wormhole.

Kohta giggled. "But, Chaos is..." He gasped realizing that the last time he had seen Chaos was 19 years ago. "Ok, what do we do?"

[Kauria]

"For starters," Oltyth growled, "You should be quiet."
He turned to Fireheart. "Loudmouth here should travel in front. That way, the guards capable of detecting a dragon's element will sense his darkness blood, and will hopefully let the rest of us slip through without a fight. Just so long as we look like shadow dragons, I don't think they'll bother to check. And if they do, hey, I'm up for a fight." He grinned.
"Once we're past the main defenses, we can figure it out from there. Sound like a plan?"

[Midnightmoon]

"Great plan except for the fighting bit. A) if the defenses hear fighting going on in side then they'll come ion to help. B) Not that I don't have faith in Firehearts energy capacity but he was totally drained when we got to frozen lake and we only had a few minutes rest." Dinara pointed out in a whispered voice.
