The Disease

[Morty]

Corvus rolled his eyes at Fireheart's petty victory. "Well you won't kill it." he sighed exhasperatedly, watching as the young heroes hacked and slashed at the creature's seven heads. He snapped his fingers. The thing's ribcage glowed with an eerie purple light, the fallen bones jittering and flying back into place, reattatching to the creature. "I can do this all day." he said cheerfully. "And nice try." he said, breathing a plume of darkness that transformed itself into a giant crow, which charged, shrieking, at Dinara and Phoenicia.

Phoenicia coughed up few fireballs and fried the crow. "Whoops!" she said and picked a stone, superheated it into lava and sent it after Corvus as a dozen of burning projectiles.
"I've got just enough of this, if i can't kill it, i'll get rid of it otherwise!" barked Fireheart and backed away. "Cover me!" he shouted and begun casting.
On the other end, Sol'Lux poked Starlight: "Are we gonna just watch or actually do something?" she said, missing the action of the old days. "These old bones wanna fight!"

Dinara glared at the replaced ribs as if she expected them to fall off again. Then she went to cover Fireheart like asked. Usually she would have made a pure ice dome, but that seamed to have a massively negative effect on her fire friend last time. So instead she drew up a large globe of water and encircled Fireheart with it and then froze a thin layer over top of it. Neither the ice stone nor the other ice dragons power could help her with the water she used so she felt slightly tired and set herself down on a near by pillar.

"Soon, really, really soon!" said Fireheart with slight excitement in his voice. "NOOOOW!!!" He shouted and a colossal portal opened right under Carakal. The monster sunk in with a big roar, trying to claw it's way out, but it was too late. The portal swallowed it and spit it out on the other side, the sun's corona. If it survived the heat, it was soon pulled into the sun and incinerated.
Fireheart's flame aura vanished like a steam. "Not gonna fall asleep, not gonna fall asleep..." he kept saying to himself, as he was searching for every bit of elemental energy left within him. His scales took that uncomfortable greyish tone, suggesting near depletion. "Your turn, people."

"Don't you think that I'm not iching to- You feal that?" Starlight started quickly. "Ok, they aren't going to be happy after but boohoo. Come on." Starlight then ran into the tunnels with the ice dragons on her tail. "Save your strength for the real fight Sol'Lux. You're still new to being mortal."

Drawing on the ice hearts power Dinara started to rejuvenate her water power by "melting down" bits of ice she produced. With her attention divided and the thick ice around the Fireheart obscuring her sight she couldn't see his condition.

"Nice strategy, but let me tell you something. There is a water heart. Once before, when she fought Desperanus, Mom was able to call on other heart's power without a physical contact. If you focus hard enough, you should be able to do it. It will make you four times as powerful if both your elements work in conjunction." gave Fireheart a hint to Dinara and took her hand. "I know who holds it, i'll pinpoint it's location, you call on the power." he said, focusing.
Sol'Lux went after Starlight: "And yet, i keep my mind blocked." she picked on her, wide smile on her face.
Phoenicia was standing two dozens meters from Corvus, pretty sure he could see her even through her cloak. She was thinking of some plan, when she figured it out. She crouched and prepared to evade whatever he could toss on her.

[Morty]

Corvus yawned and checked his imaginary wristwatch, drumming his claws on the diamondlike orb. "If throwing something into the sun is the only conclusion you can come to, you obviously need to think more creatively."
A whistling sound filled the air. "Bout time." he said, Carakals's bony body crashing through the ceiling, singed and somewhat shrivelled but otherwise unscathed. "I thought I told you, the beast's body cannot be destroyed." said Corvus simply. Carakal apparently did not share Corvus's amusement. Eyes and heart glowing purple, its seven heads opened their mouths and fired an immense beam of energy straight at Fireheart. "You'll just make it angry." added Corvus, chuckling condescendingly.

Now that I think of it
I think there's one of every element in or around the battle field.. Maybe killing it could have something to do with that. ID))

Starlight popped a picture of her sticking her tongue out into her head. She never really got around to working on real mental communication. They ran at high speeds down the passages- to come to a dead end. Starlight hissed under her breath. "They forgot to mention the doorway was blocked.

Dinara started to smile appreciatively, then it changed to aghast. "Look OUT!" Dinara shifted the now empty glob of ice and water into the blasts way. It only made it partially. The ball held for a few seconds with the excess power leaking around the sphere towards them, then it shattered. With hands spread out in front of her in a dramatic gesture Dinara froze the water before it was evaporated. The unstable barrier broke quicker then the first. Dinara knocked Fireheart away with her wings and then froze herself solid in a chunk of ice, still in the blasts course.

"Touchdown....." hissed Fireheart when he hit the floor. He looked around to see what happened and he saw Dinara frozen, with a beam of energy heading for her. He was helpless, it was too close. The moment later, the shattered ice enveloping Dinara went everywhere like pins and needles. "OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" he said and dropped over the wall to evade them. He want around the tower in spirals to see if it blasted Dinara out of the tower. He took a quick look on where she stood, but nothing was there except a puddle of melted ice. Then he took a quick dive. "OK, big dark ooze, you're gonna pay for this." he thought while searching.
"Heard that?" said Sol'Lux, looking at Starlight. Then something went a centimeter in front of her face with quite a haste, and a chilll. "Ice?" she looked at the barricade. "DUCK!" she said and pushed Starlight to the floor, as multiple chinks of ice broke through the barrier, charging at them.

(OOC: you know, morty was right about you getting a bit of slang or whatever while on your trip. :/ )

"Great Elementals, what are they doing in there?!" one of the ice dragons yelled as he squished himself up against the wall. "Fighting for survival." Starlight responded as the ice crystals continued to whiz over their heads though pinholes in the door in front of them. When it all stopped Starlight was going to get up to try and figure a way through the door, when the noise started up again. She ducked back down to evade the blue missile. This new missile pulsed with energy and when it flew by it was going the opposite direction of the shards and into the room. Not to mention it was bigger.

"You know, adults with imaginary friends and stuff gotta be stupid." said Phoenicia, circling around Corvus, still expecting some sort of counterstrike. "What's wrong? You are too chicken to attack few kids on your own?" she made another half cycle in the other direction, slowly closing on Corvus. "You must have been a weakling when you were born!" she closed once again, "And you're a weakling still!" she said, now closer than it would seem wise. "Nothing, but a sniveling!" she whispered two meters away from him.
Fireheart was cycling around the tower, still no sight of the blue dragoness, when he felt something closing in. He looked right and saw something blue heading straight for him. "OH FOR CRYING OU..." *thud* The something hit his head and he took another one when his head hit the tower. He started falling, one of his ears torn to stripes.

(OOC: that pulsing blue thing was the water heart.)

The blue thing circled about tightly for a second before dropping. Bellow in the dark Dinara clung to the domes wall, shivering. To energy she had to use to sustain her icy protection had taken up all the energy she got from the other ice dragons, and the Ice Elemental Heart was flickering. She was alive but the blast had jarred her. "There you are." She said quietly as she saw the sister elemental heart, water, zipping down, it's inner power glowing to illuminate the shifting air bubbles trapped inside. Dinara reached out and grabbed it, putting it with the ice heart. With the help of the water heart her sense of liquid expanded and she felt a well of ground water. She drew upon it with the water elements power and gathered it around her as she climbed the wall.

[Morty]

"Speak for yourself!" Corvus growled. "I am a prince of Hell, and I expect to be treated as such!" Six of the seven heads of Carakal snickered. "Quiet, you! Sick em!" he said, stomping his foot. Carakal's heads all moved to snap at Phoenicia, while its seven tails whipped about to ensnare the other two.

Phoenicia jumped up, avoiding the heads and landed behind Corvus. "Hiding behind the monster? Well hide behind this!" she said, jumped behind Corvus and caught his head in her arms, making a living shield out of Corvus, squeezing his neck.
Sol'Lux blasted the rocks shattered by the ice projectiles. she looked around and saw the floor collapsed. "We'll have to fly our way to the..." then she saw something red and gold falling from the air above her. "That stubborn little son of a... Me." she said and took off, heading for Fireheart. She caught him and landed. "Wake up!" she said and gave him part of her energy and healed his head. "I don't wanna go to school..." sounded weak answer. She flown him back to the entrance. "That's a pretty big bony thing." she said, noticing Carakal. "We better get on it." she said and energized her claws.

As Dinara climbed she countered the reaching tails with her own tendrils of water. Once she could see the hydra she sent all the water enveloping her at it in a large flooding turrent, knocking some of the heads away from Pheonicia and her captive.

Starlight rallied her fellow dragons, sending a pair each at 3 of the heads.
