"Let's see, the plot...
This is planet Earth. There are many strange people in this world, people gifted with the power of animals. We call these people +Anima, and these +Anima come in different varities. They can have the powers of any animal, such as birds, fish, deer, wolf, bear and many others. The other thing about +Anima is the powers they have, for not all are the same. Some +Anima are limited to only changing part of their body; for birds, they may grow wings, for bears and cats, they can grow claws. Some are limited to only growing the ears and tail of their animal. Some can change fully into their +Anima, but this is rare, even among the already scare +Anima. Most +Anima are young children; few adults rarely ever get an +Anima. Children get +Anima from the animal they see when a life threatening situation occurs and they are about to die. The Kingdom of Astar fears +Anima, and most are shunned from society. The neighboring Kingdom, Tyay, captures these +Anima and uses their abilities as slaves. And the third Kingdom, Assat, is wild and filled with heathen who believe +Anima should be treated like normal people. This journey starts in the kingdom of Astar, where the king has just ordered for the treaty with Tyay, that all +Anima be captured and taken to Tyay to be sold as slaves. The story starts in a town called Baonor, where the king's soldiers have not reached yet."

Let's see, the plot...

There was a noise down the ally, some scuffling and men yelling. Then a small thing ran out into the street laughing. "Your never going to catch me you big oafs!." The little girl yelled over her shoulder. She was 20 m's down the crowded street before a trio of men finally came stumbling out of the ally. "Somebody stop her! She's a Anima!" One of them yelled. Again the girl laughed farther down the street, tail swishing behind her.

Rook let out his bat screech from the alleyway he was in, hoping to stun the three men, instead he only stunned one of them, the remaining two turned toward the alleyway, then entered. One was holding a rope, the other a sword. The remaining man, now recovering from Rook's stun, led a wagon drawn by mules right next to the alleyway. They were slavers. Rook turned down the dark alleyway he was in, but stopped short of the exit to it. There was Sunlight. Rook was blind in the sun, being a vampire bat +Anima. While Rook was frozen, afraid, the men cut off his escape from either side. He was trapped. The man with the sword pressed it against Rook's throat while the other bound his hands. They didn't touch his wings or his ears, because they noticed his fear of sunlight. The man smiled and pushed the tip of his sword into Rook's back. Blood trickled out of his shirt, causing Rook to wince. When he got in the wagon, the man who he had stunned suddenly moved, punching him in the face. Falling over, Rook curled up at the bottom of the wagon while the man beat him throughly, except for the ears and wings. After the beating, Rook was bleeding in several places from where the man's boot had broken the skin, including his forehead. The man smiled at Rook and said, "There now, you filthy +Anima, we know your weakness to sunlight. Don't try to escape or the beating I just gave you will be only a small taste of what is yet to come. Also, don't ever try to do whatever you did to me again. Got it?" Rook nodded, one of his eyes was swollen from where the man had puched him. The man nodded to his companions and they unbound his hands, only to substitute it with chains, which they wrapped around his legs also. He lay where he was, at the bottom of the wagon, wondering why he had ever helped the Wolf +Anima.

Hydrax saw what was happening from the river floating nearby. Not pretty, unlike me. she thought and the dolphin jumped out of the river. In the flight, she turned into her humanoid form and landed on the wagon, stabbing one of the brutes in the process. She pulled out her sword and the man's blood sprayed all around. She quickly lashed on the other on, slicing trough his sword, leaving it in scraps. "Anyone else?" She asked, with the two men running away. She looked at the beaten creature lying on the floor. She pulled a salve out of her bag and dressed it's wounds. "Hang in there, you'll be fine." she said and looked around. The two men were almost at the town. No doubt they will come back in greater force. hydraxp picked up the creature and carefully carried it to the river.

The girl from before came back around the corner, having doubled back. "I thought I smelled another." She said. "The nose knows." Then looking at the fleeing figures she yelled. "That's right. You keep on running." Giving them a face, sticking out her tongue, she turned from them as they entered the inner city gates. "He going to be ok."

Rook closed his eyes as the sunlight hit them. The girl kept on walking, so he said, "I'm..a bat +Anima. My name is Rook...nice to meet you. Since my animal is a bat, I'm blind in the daylight. Would you mind going someplace dark?" He whispered, feeling the balm on his wounds. His bat's ears pricked up, detecting noise nearby. "I'm picking up something. Those men you scared off, they're..+Anima slavers and soldiers. They've roused the entire garrison stationed here...we..better..get..away." Rook said.

"Batboy's right." the girl said. "And from what I'm picking up they'll be here a few minutes." she paused. "Hey, I'll give you some time. This river heads down into the forest, meet me at the fork. And with me being a wolf anima you don't need to call out that loud and call attention to yourself. Names Tateen, see you there." Tateen said in a light voice the ran out back through the alley and into the street to the group just coming around the bend.

"Hey you guys, looking for someone?" she yelled turning around and wagging her but at them, tail waving. "If it's little me then I'm right here. Come and get me if you can." she called then took off at a slow lope till they got close, then zipped ahead out of reach. "I'm sure you got better then that." A rope came and tightened around her wrist, stopping Tateen and making her fall. "Ooof, I knew you had it in you." with her other hand she used her claws to cut through the rope. The time it took for her to do that they were closing in. "Well guess play time is over, smell ya later." She said then took off for the trees.

Falco was walking in the forest when a small wolf girl came running by, He didn't pay much attention to it until he saw a bunch of guards chasing her. He smiled, unlucky for them he had just recently been hired by a group of rebels to help all +anima. He watched the guards run a few yards before he whipped off his glasses and took aim. It looked like they where standing right next to him. With a few shots all guards where on the ground, some dead some just wounded, he put his glasses back on and walked past them tipping his hat. "Good evening mates. Try not to stand still next time." He said as he followed the wolf girl.

Tateen skidded to a stop. "Man, i seem to be running into a lot of anima today. Thanks for the hand partner, though I could have totally out run them, especially in my territory. Was it really necessary to kill them? Bah, whatever." Turning back she said over her, "Thanks again. Maybe I'll see you later." Then jogged into the forest.
