Rook sighed with relief as they entered the shadowy forest. "Thanks, I think I can walk now." Rook got down and started to walk, but instead he just fell down, leg throbbing painfully. "No problem." He said quickly, sprouting his wings and ears. He fluttered up a few feet, flying as they waited for the wolf +anima to get here.

"You must go. Do not stop until you reach the borders of the Assat empire, where you will be safe. I must hold them here so you can make your escape." said Hydrax and walked back on the road. About 50 men were geathered, with various weapons, all heading for her. She felt sick by fear, but she had to buy them some time. She will flee once she can't take the fight anymore. Plus she could escape by the river. That gave her enough confidence. She took her rapier, and stroked the blade with her hand. The blade was left with blue aura. "Legendary waters! Mystic dolphin needs your help!" she shouted and stabbed the ground. Huge geysers shot out of the ground under the heels of the front line of attackers, causing them to fly around. The second wave was closing in. She freed her blade from the ground and waited for them to come, trying to anticipate their moves.

Tateen reach the fork and found that more men had arrived. A boat rested on bank. "Guess those other guys warned reinforcements that were suppose to come in today." She murmured. A giser of water spurted from behind the group and a wind blew the smell of the Anima that was helping the batboy. Tateen ran into the group at full speed on all fours, body chucking one and sending 2 more tumbling. She grabbed a big dropped sword, hefted then started twirling in circles letting the weight of the blade slash a way to the Anime. She was halfway through when she let go of the blade and it spiraled off. Tateen jumped over the rest of the group and landed beside the Anima. "Seems like my distraction did nothing at all." She pouted. The remaining of the men advanced shouting and waving their weapons at them, others brought out nets.

"Go help the bat, you would only get in the way and harmed here. Get out!" said Hydrax and slashed one attacker with her sword. The guts and blood fell down to the ground. Not a pretty sight. Then a blade sliced trough her left arm. Hydrax shrieked in surprise and pain, and countered the attack, stabbing twelve holes into the person. Then she turned around in a massive slash, cutting few heads off, before somebody kicked her to the back. She fell to the ground and couldn't catch her breath. "Legend of the water - mystic dolphin!" she said with her last air and her body transformed into her animal form. With a massive swing of her tail, she catapulted herself to the river. I hope those two wasn't stubborn enough to stay. she thought as she saw that she only took down 15 of the attackers. She swam further away and morphed back to human body. Taking the salve, she tried to help her wounded arm.

"More then happy to do so." Tateen said ducking and swerving to avoid blades and nets. Jumping strait up she caught a high branch and swung herself onto the top. "Trees aren't my forte but they do help out in situations like these." She called down to the scrambling humans and balanced on the thick branches to the next tree heading for a patch of poison ivy she knew was by the river, she found out the hard way a while back.

Falco having nothing else to do followed the other anima, he was far enough that she couldn't see him but he could see her. He went until he saw her fighting a group of guards to save another anima. normally he would have waited and watched, but two things were different this time. 1: he was being paid, and 2: The other one was hot. Instantly in action he only fired his bow when the others where about to get hit and they couldn't defend the hit. pretty soon the other guards noticed that some of them were dead with arrows sticking out, thus causing panic amongst them unsure where they came from. "Assassins are a bi*** aren't they?" He said keeping his distance. When the dolphin left debated whether to follow her, or help save the little wolf girl. His answer was decided by taking out another guard.

Tateen heard the whizzing of the arrows and the thunk as they hit their targets though didn't see or smell the assailant due to the wind being downwind and the tree leaves getting in the way. Tateen didn't look back, instead kept going and jumped to the next branch nearly slipping only saved from the fall by grabbing onto the branch. She swung herself back on up onto the branch. She kept going a few more trees and finally reached the tell tale bush of poison ivy. "Well boys i bid you fare well, and have a pleasant day." She said cheerfully and jumped down on the other side, taking off as soon as she hit the ground.

Rook had used his bat screech to stun a bunch of men, but the stun lasted only for a few minutes before wearing off. Sticking to the trees where he could actually see, Rook bounded along the branches with his wings tucked tightly into his back. Arrows were flying everywhere, and one of them got him in the leg, causing it to lose all feeling. He had to keep going. Wincing, Rook flapped his wings and rose off the leg, taking all of his weight off of it. It looked pretty bad, but it would be worse it he didn't escape. Being a +Anima was pratically a death sentence here in Arystar, and this town is in the middle of the large kingdom, right next to the capital. His leg throbbed suddenly, and Rook looked down to see an immense glop of blood covering his legs.

Hydrax bandaged her wound and stood up. The battlefield was about 500 meters far, bus she could see the wolf anima escape. Good. she said, put her sword in it's place on her back and ran inside the forest. It will cover her and she wanted to find those two others. Once she sworn to protect her kind, so she was going to fulfill it.

"Oh bugger." Falco exclaimed. One of the guards found an arrow that had missed its target sticking out of a tree, all he had to do was look in the direction it came and the would find the shooter. Flipping his glasses on and turning around he started bolting, while he was no wolf, if he got a head start he would be able to find a way out. "Should have followed the dolphin."

Hydrax was slowly walking trough the forest. The trees were close to each other, thin branches whipping her all the time as she was struggling to get trough. On top of all that, adrenalin was getting away from her blood and she started feeling the wound in full scale. It will require professional help, but that couldn't be arranged here. Holding her wounded arm, she continued. After few meters, she found the wolf anima. "Did you find the other one?" she asked.

"Which one? Batboy or birdboy?" Tateen asked. She had figured the archer was a bird of sorts because or the feathery smell she got off him.

"Wait, there was more of you?" asked Hydrax, forcing herself not to cry, because the arm was worse and worse. The balm wasn't helping the pain, it was only supposed to prevent infection. "I meant the bat guy, if there was somebody else, he better hope they won!t find thim, good 3 dozens of them stayed alive." she said and sat down on a nearby stump.

"You just relax here and stay hidden then." Tateen said moving through the forest back the way she came. "And if it makes you feel better, birdboy took out at least a few more of those humans. Don't know how many for sure though." she finished before taking off again, swiftly and silently. It was easy to find and catch up with the fumbling humans as they crashed through the woods. She side stepped them and caught up with the other anima. "Hey birdboy. Guess it's my turn to help you out." She said cheerfully.

"Watch your head." He said noticing the guards pulling out bows. "Well, you got an escape plan? Cuz to be honest, i didn't think there where this many. Oh, the names Falcinor by the way but you can just call me Falco."
