"No problem here." Tateen said cheerfully, prancing over and taking a fruity pastry from a plate. "When I was with the wolves the only time a meal was even warm was when it was a fresh kill, or when it had been out in the sun for a while.... I did cook my share you know..."

"Hey, a meals a meal. You learn to eat what you get when you live your life on the promise of others." Falco said as he got up. The book on his head dropped to the ground but he didn't care. He walked over to the table and sat down. "So what will our first stop be?"

"Then let's rock!" said Hydrax. "The first stop is just efore we cross the border, in the harbor Miletus, or sooner if the wind stops blowing, but i don't think that will be the issue. Then we'll enter the waters of the other nations and go south, where we can get what we need. With any luck, we'll stumble upon some more anima and get them out without trouble, with bad luck is what we discussed earlier, but let's hope we won't need to resort to theat." she said while finishing packing her stuff. She put her modified armor on and grabbed her bags. "Last one here, lock the door." she said and went to the ship to start preparations.

Snatching up a sausage with her free hand Tateen spun on her heal and was out the door before Hydrax had even reached the road. From there she headed strait for the docks to meet with a few kids for a last good bye.

Falco was the last to leave and the one with the least amount of stuff. All he had to get was a pouch of bullets, a quiver of arrows, his bow and rifle. He locked the door on his way out and headed to the ship. "Still can't believe I'm about to leave my old job for this. Been doing bounty jobs my whole life."

Hydrax saw the look on Falco's face when she was taking the keys. "Hey, think of it as escort mission. I'm counting on you that nothing happens to the kid." she whispered, nodding towards Tateen. She had no doubt about her abilities, but she wouldn't handle if something went wrong. "All check. Get on your spots, crew! Falco, you got the main sail, Tat, you take secondary. Bon voyage!" she said as she pulled the anchor up and untied the ship from the pier. Then she pushed the ship off and ran to the rudder, heading out of the marina. Finally.

Tateen was tempted to yell 'I heard that' followed by a 'and I can take care of myself perfectly fine', but decided just to keep her comments to herself and laugh about it later. "Ey' ma'am." She said instead as she scampered off to her sail.

"ALL SET!" Falco yelled from the mail sail. "READY TO SHIP OUT WHEN YOU ARE!"

Krath wove his way through the crowded docks, clutching the strap of his satchel and ducking under crates of fish. Once he had emerged from the main crowds of people, he shielded his eyes from the sun and scanned the sails of the ships. The imperial colors had been splashed across the sails of a large boat filled with massive cages. A moment later, a desperate scream ripped through the salty air. "That's my ride," Krath said grimly, lowering his hand and shifting the bag across his back.

"that's fifth slave ship leaving this dock in a WEEK. Do we let them get away or do we chase?" asked Hydrax, looking hungrily at the barrels with gunpowder, rubbing the hilt of her rapier.

Krath set down the wrapped bundle of swords and turned to help the smiling soldier behind him with the last of the crates. "Thanks." The soldier stretched, extended a hand. "You're Gareth's apprentice, right? He said this would be your first time at sea." Krath nodded, shaking his hand and returning the smile. "Yes, sir." The soldier cleared a seat on top of a barrel and threw his arms back with a contented sigh. "You'll get used to it fast. I'm Bale, your welcoming committee, I guess. Gareth told me to keep an eye on you, help you get to know the other soldiers." A sudden moan from the far end of the deck made Krath jump. "Sorry about that. You'll have to get used to that, too. It's easier to share a ship with the slaves than to hire a merchant vessel. Better protected, too." Bale nodded to the cannons. Krath's mouth tightened into a line, but he gave a shallow bow and said, "It's no bother to me. I'm still just excited to be here." Not quite lying through my teeth, but close. Bale laughed and slapped Krath on the back, almost causing him to drop his satchel. "That'll wear off soon. But we're all going to be trapped here together, so we might as well enjoy it 'till we get to Tyay. You can put your stuff," he pointed at the bag, "in your quarters." His hand rose. "Here, I'll show you." The pair walked down the rows of cages, conversation drowning out the begging whimpers of the captured +Anima.

"You've already got my answer. I'd rather not have to fight if we don't have to." Tateen said, eyeing the boat. "What's the cargo anyway?" She added, leaning over the side of their own vessal. When that didn't work she scurried over the mast and crawled up to get a better view, a rop twisted around her wrist as she leaned out into the wind to see.

"Anima, the desert people, anyone their race deems impure." she said, her teeth sharpening. "Careful with that climbing!" she shouted up. "If we want to help them then we need to hijack those ships, we don't have enough room. We've sold all we had and cash and cargo is here so we need to tow."

Falco was leaning back in a chair with his hat over his eyes. "You know the longer you think 'Should we or should we not' the less time we have to do so. As captain why don't you just say 'Hey blokes, lets get that ship,' and we'll figure the details out as we go. Thats how I've had to do my job for years."

"Did you notice those cruisers with three decks of cannons parked right outside the port? We have to follow out. Then we'll strike." said Hydrax and turned the ship to the exit from the port. "Too bad we can't sink them, that would be way easier. But we can sink the cruisers, can't we? I'll catch up, you two, don't loose the ship." she said and jumped to water. She waited just until their ship went out of sight and then planted the mines she took under the big ships and lit them up. As soon as she knew the water closed above them, she followed in the direction of their ship, catching up the next day.
