Sorcerer's Destruction

A rumble shattered the silence, and Haleth's head swiveled towards the mountain. Snow rushed down its side, tearing past trees and stones. He banked into the wind, taking himself closer. There had been a surge of magic so close he could practically taste it.
The thrill of realization made his feathers stand on end. He swallowed in excitement. Dragon magic.

[Morty]

Sensing the ground rumbling below him he turned and quickly undid the spell with a wave of his hand. The spikes stopped mid-race and crumpled, harmless. Vitaly looked at his hand, small pinpricks of blood welling on his palms. He stood, waiting for a second attack, before grumbling and continuing on his stroll. "Have to speak to Minara about some insurance against ice attacks..."

[Awesomoman]

"Great, so lets keep going and get those weapons, unless you're worried that the traps down here will be much worse than the ones up here. And if thats the case then i say, watch your step." Gorn said.

Dagon Heard the rumble but didn't pay much attention to it. "It seems the camp is under attack by....a small group, the others can handle that." He went back to his battle plans spread out on a desk.

"I don't know, I mean, what else could he possibly..." she paused, realizing she isn't in the round room anymore. "Do?" she whispered, looking at the strange area she was suddenly transported to. the place looked like it was made out of roots and funky green rock. She could see a wall standing in the middle of it and sealed door on the other side. She first checked out the wall. To her surprise, the last lines dictated everything that just happened, and runes kept popping on it. She saved this for later and went to the door. She could feel the magic searing from the place, but with all of the noise in the ether, she couldn't be sure if those were traps or not. "One way to find out i guess." she said and touched the door. The part she touched flashed and the door unsealed and opened. "Thanks bro." she said and continued in. It was a large cavern with eight statues, each made out of grey stone, yet some parts of them were different color, and two were missing. She recognized Fireheart's sword among them. "This is it." she said, thinking of how to get them somewhere else, and where would that be. "Ah, screw it!" she said and flapped her wings, taking one of the weapons from it's place. Nothing happened. She quickly picked up the others, but when she picked up the last one, the door shut behind her and the chamber begun to collapse and fill with water. "Wonderful." she cursed, trying to warp out, unsuccessfuly. "Notgoodnotgoodnotgood!" she said and melted the gargoyles spewing water into the room. "There must be some kind of way outta here!" she said for herself, looking around. She looked at her hands holding all the weapond. She randomly picked two and tried to break the door with them, but it was no use. The ceiling begun to fall. Then she felt that burst of power again. It was like time melted around her, slowing down. She dodged a falling rock and rushed against the door. She exhaled and a cone of flame went out of her mouth, melting a hole in the door easily. She quickly flown through and up a staircase she saw. It ended blind with ceiling. She didn't hesitate, only put her shield on and smashed through, right into the round room. Exhausted, she dropped down in shivers.

[Midnightmoon]

(OOC: don't forget that Dinara has the water staff)

"Oh myyy..." Minara whispered. "Such chilly magic, such energy." She finished her tea and raced out of the tent to the border of the perimeter. She giggled, "Well my chilly friend, won't you share." Arms out, a globe in one, she made a symbol in front of her. the globe shined then seemed to get blown away into the wind as little snow flakes. The wind whipped up behind her and swirled around, snow clustered and and ice shards gathered to form a snow dragon. "Go on, go find your kind, I would love to meet him, bring him back." She crooed to it, yelling over the wind. It's wings opened and it roared a sound of shattering ice, then it was blown away too.

(OOC: the dragon will keep attacking till the storm is up or if all the glowing specks (which are the disintigrated globe and swirling along the spine) are melted/ destroyed. of course you guys are welcome to ignore this post if you want.)

Gorn turned around to see that Phoenicia was gone. "What in the name of?" Then the whole place started shaking, then it stopped, then started again. After that a hole blew from the floor and Phoenicia jumped out shivering and holding a bunch of weapons. "HOLY CRAP! Are you okay? What just happened?" He ran over to her.

"I am... SICK... of being the one... that does these things!" she said between breaths and got up. "Traps isn't a word good enough. The whole place tried to kill me." she complained and gathered the stuff all around. "I think we should hide them in the caves of energy peak. THere'S too much magic noise to sense them. Agreed? Oh and yeah, i'm OK, thanks." she asked.

[Awesomoman]

"The whole place......tried to kill you....Yeah i would feel better if we left here as soon as we could." Gorn helped in grabbing a few things. "Good thinking, lets just not let Mr. 'Better Than Everyone' find out, he'd probably steal these for the energy clan. Sure you're okay? You really don't look like it."

[Nohiki]

"How woyld you look if you happened to be in a locked room with collapsing ceiling and filling itself with water?" she said, leaving the chamber. She tried to open a portal but all she managed to do was few sparks. She sights. "Would you, please?" I need a vacation.

[Awesomoman]

"Okay you have a point." Gorn replied. He followed Phoenicia out of the chamber and watched her fail at making a portal. "You know what, let me handle it." He put his hand on her shoulder and teleported them out of there. They came back around 2 miles from the mountain. "Well, thats closer than i thought i could get us."

"Good enough. Let's go." she said and went for the mountain. She scouted fron the air for a cave entrance. "There's a candidate." she said, flying in. She lit the whole place up and saw the cave being long enough for their needs. "They should be safe here." she said and unloaded the weapons from her bag. She waited for Gorn to do the same and walked out of the cave. Then she gathered all her remaining energy and melted down most of the cave, blocking any access to the weapons with solid rock. "That should keep everyone out. I presume that when they decide for their weilder, they jsut pop on the scene like your lance did. If not, well, we know where they are. I think i'm gonna stop standing now." she said, falling down in coma caused by exhaustion, snoring.

"You're gonna what? OH!" Gorn quickly caught her as she fell. "How many times have you done this now? Maybe you should try not to over work yourself." He said even though he knew she was out. "Well, i guess you can have a break, after all you deserve one more than anyone else." He flew off the mountain still carrying her and landed at a spot in the forest, pulled out his hammock and hooked it up and set Phoenicia in it. Then he sat down next to a tree and waited for her to wake up.

When Phoenicia woke up, the sun was setting. She stretched her arms and fell out of the hammock. That gave her a hint to what happened. "Thanks." she whispered, looking at Gorn. She wiped the "just woke up" expression off her face and stood up. "Well, what we're gonna do now?"

Gorn heard a thud and looked over. "Well i see you're awake now." He laughed and helped her up. "I was thinking we should head back to Ivy's cave, I left a few dragons back there when i came to see how things were at the camp. Once we regroup with them then we should start planning. What do you think?"

"Sounds good. Let's pack our stuff and lead the way." she said, grabbing her bag from the ground. "I hope the guys up north are doing so good as well."
