(Its been about a month after Fire left with many other dragons. Gorn and Isk found a few of the ancient tombs they loaded themselves up with treasure galore. They now find themselves walking through the desert about to discover a great threat! (hows that for a back of a book summary?))
"UGH, this bag is REALLY HEAVY." Gorn complained dragging his bag of treasure. "Well, the sooner we find a use for all this the better. What did you plan to do with your share again?"

"I will buy a palace!" said Isk, who had tied the bag around his tail and had proceeded to drag it through the sand. The rut it left was quickly erased by the wind, however. "With a swimming pool!" he added, looking up at the blazing desert sun.

"I don't think anyone owns a palace around here. Heh, us with all this treasure reminds me of some of the things humans used to say about us. How we held our selves up in caves sitting on massive piles of treasure. You ask me that would be EXTREMELY uncomfortable." Gorn went off about it until he was interrupted. "KKKKKAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH." Gorn's heart sank. "N-no, they're all dead, THEY'RE ALL DEAD!" He wanted to believe that, but flying right towards him was Gryadas. "Isk, we have to run NOW."

"What?" Isk's head whipped around. Then he saw the thing flying right at them. "SWEET MARY MOTHER OF--" was all he had a chance to say before the thing charged straight into him, its beak aimed for his chest. Iskander let out a cry of pain, but he managed to wrest himself free of the thing's snapping beak and ran between its legs. As the thing turned to attack again he slashed sand into its face, blinding it temporarily. "Let's.. Let's go!" he panted, feeling something drip from his chest into the sand.

"HEY! Lay off him ya feathered freak!" Gorn didn't think, he just jumped at the stunned Gryadas. He grabbed it by a pressure point on it's neck and ZZZZAAAAAPPPPP. Used as much energy as he could to fry the sucker. The Gryadas fell dead as Gorn fell panting right next to it. "How, *huff* in the hell, *puff* did this thing survive. They all, *huff* were wiped out *pant* by the disease." Gorn didn't have time to think, he could see more coming in the distance. "Isk, you're gonna have to drop the gold. I can teleport you and me out of here but not that understand?"

Iskander's ears drooped, then he looked at his chest, which was dripping blood. "Okay, just get us out of here." he said, wobbling faintly. He untied the bag of loot from his tail and threw it behind a rock. He looked pale. "Are you sure you have the energy?"

Gorn pulled out the energy heart. "Lets pray to my dad that i will with this." Gorn held it tightly in his hand and VWOOSH. They suddenly were in a forest. Gorn dropped to the ground almost passed out. "You still alive?" Gorn asked on the ground.

"I'm fine. You, on the other hand, don't look so good." said Isk, casting a concerned glance at Gorn. "Where are we?" he looked around them at the darkness of the forest. He shuddered. He had the strangest feeling the forest was looking back.

"Well, you were hurt, and when ever me or one of my friends were hurt during the disease we came here." Gorn's arms shook and he struggled to get up. "A dragon lives here by the name of Ivy, shes great at healing and can fix you up easily." He grabbed a branch to pull himself up. "If i remember right, shes only 10 minutes north from here. Think you can make it til then?"

Iskander put a hand to his chest. It came off red. Iskander's knees buckled slightly. He managed to pull himself together, though. "Never seen this much of my own blood." he laughed nervously. "I'm allright, really." he said. He looked through his bag and selected an ancient rug he'd been planning to sell. "Oh well." he said sadly, and tied it around his torso like a tourniquet. "Lead on, amir. Let's go meet this lady of the woods."

"Alright, come oooOOOONNN." Gorn took a step and fell over. "Guess im still a little tired from giving a bird electro and getting us all the way out here. But we have no time to waste!" Gorn started crawling in the direction they needed to go.

"Want me to carry you?" Iskander joked. Gorn was about twice his size. He attempted to prop Gorn up on his shoulder, but his legs were just as wobbly.

Gorn chuckled as Isk tried to lift him up. "Thanks for trying to help buddy but i don't think we'll make any progress if we keep this up." Gorn took on great big breath and threw himself up. Then leaned up against a tree, he then ripped two branches off and handed one to Isk. "Lets try this." He leaned on the branch and kept himself up as he walked. "Now you try."

Iskander pushed the branch aside. "I can walk, amir. I just need to pull myself together." he said, then inhaled deeply to steady himself. "I overeact, it is just blood." he told himself, and nearly collapsed again as he looked at the dark red stain blossoming across his chest. "Cmon, I smell woodsmoke!" he said, tearing his eyes away and forcing himself to march.

Phoenicia was searching the island for anyone. A week ago, she finally found Gorn and Iskander, but she decided to have some fun observing them sweating under the heavy luggage before making contact, staying far enough for Gorn not to notice her being there. Now she felt really bad about that decision, as she was unable to help them in time and she lost their track after Gorn teleported them away, though she thought of only few places that made sense. She cloaked herself and waited gor the attackers to leave. Then she went forward and picked up their bags with relative ease. "Pfff, years in a smith are paying off. Oh boy that's heavy, how many graves did they steal from?" she sweared on their graspingness. "I'm gonna be worshipped for saving this." she said and tried to take off, but the ton-o-gold on her back was too much even for her to lift. "Allrigh, the hard way it is!" she said and atttempted to summon a warp portal. "Oh boy, here we go!" she said and stepped trough it. She felt the ground under her heels again. Then under her back, on her head, and everywhere, as the portal spit her out and she was rolling through mud. "Ooooow!" she whined while getting up. She shook to get as much mud as she could off her by drying it with heat, causing the layer of ground to rupture and fall off. She picked up their luggage and went in the direction of Ivy's cave, hoping to meet them there.
