"There you are! My, you are good." Asmodeus chuckled, drawing closer. "Those young dragons, the ones you have your eye on, they're planning to attack the base here. They intend to burrow under the base and set off an explosion from underground. I thought you might like to know ahead of time." he said sibilantly, hovering back and forth, as if pacing. He floated down gently and sat down on the corner of Dagon's desk, tail curling. "Of course you must already know about their army being disbanded. Oh and those so-called spies camped out under the ice they sent over here. They're the ones relaying all the information about this place." he added, peeking at him askancely.

OOC: Son of a bitch! But rly, this would have been much greater surprise in you shown Asmodeus and Dagon together AFTER the attack failed "That's right." said Phoenicia. "We know what the terrain looks like, we know where it would hurt, now i just hope they can manufacture enough of the bombs." she said, turning around to fly north and join the scout party. "Oh and one more thing... Can you think of a failsafe? Just in case." she said and teleported north. She landed on the ice. ICE. she quickly flapped her wings to escape the cold grip. Looking around, she saw a small block of ice in the middle of nowhere. Examining carefully, she felt heat signatures of her dragon scouts. She headed that way and made a sily face to the periscope. "We've got company." said Fraziel when the entire all was covered with Phoenicia's head sticking tongue at them. In return, he melted the ice under her, causing her to fall in, closing the hole right away. "What's new?" she asked, getting off the ground.

Shyla stirred, opening her eyes. The ice wall glistened in front of her, highlighted by the dying embers of the fire Nive had created. Nive herself was asleep, probably tired out from the previous events. She pulled out the map and checked the place beginning with an 'S'. Shivering Copse. The only link she and her sister had to their adopted father, Shiran. "Oy, Nive." Shyla said lazily, flicking some ice at her sister. "Get up already! We're going to find Shiran!"

Nive blinked awake. "Gah!" she yelped, swatting the ice from her shoulder. "Very funny, Shy." she grumbled, hauling herself to her feet. She yawned, stretching painfully, unpleasant cracking noises sounding from her lower spine. "So much for taking turns watching the entrance. Are we gonna go check out that Shivering Copse place?" she asked, jogging in place, her breath rising in clouds.

Shyla gave a dry chuckle as Nive grumbled and got up. "Yes, it was very funny, at least for me." she said, her voice full of unheard laughter. She too started stretching, and soon she felt warmed up and ready to start their journey again. Shyla turned to Nive and said, "Of course. What else would we do? Shivering Copse is the only link we have to Shiran." She dusted the icy off of her clothes and took a look outside. It was freezing cold, and some smoke was still rising from the remains of that barn they had burned. Good. "It's the perfect weather for traveling. For me, that is." Shyla said, winking at her sister. Since Nive manipulated fire, she was going to have cold feet. Literally. "Let's get going, before that jerk who showed up last night shows up again. Or better yet, leads a party of humans right to us. We can't let them know that we're posing as apprentices for the wizards, Nive, or else everything we've worked for will be for naught, and we'll never find Shiran." Shyla said, staring at the horizon.

"Well, let's get going then." said Nive, approaching the lip of the cave. She leaned over the edge and peered at the steep climb down, looking for the best way to proceed. "Race you to the bottom." she said, grinning mischievously. She threw herself off the edge of the cliff, dropping about a dozen feet before opening her energy disc and skidding the rest of the way down on a gravel chute some 140 feet to the bottom.

"Oh, you're on!" called Shyla as she manipulated the ice and snow to form her own disk to slide on. She also jumped off the edge of the cave, plummeting downward at what would be an alarming speed to any human. Not for her or her sister, though. Demons ignored this kind of stuff. She shoved the disk underneath her and picked up speed, her eyes wide with excitement at the thrill of it all. Regular humans would never understand the best part of being a demon. Shyla could be free, truly free, free to do anything she wanted without being bound by the shackles of her race. It was easy. It was good to be free. When she posed as a wizard apprentice, they had been told that the dragons were in the wrong, and that it was good to do those things to them. However, her experience with Shiran said otherwise. Shyla spun past Nive, sticking her tongue out as she did so. "Catch me if you can~!" she called.

"Hey!" laughed Nive as Shyla overtook her. She stumbled to a halt at the foot of the cliff, nearly crashing into Shyla. "You only won because you're heavier!" Nive panted, grinning as she regained her breath.

"Surely you jest, Nive?" laughed Shyla as Nive finally ground to a halt, almost knocking her over in the process. "I am only a few pounds heavier, for sure." She said, her tone mockingly severe. Then her face became serious as she looked over at the mountains. "Let's go Nive. Somewhere, Shiran is waiting for us." she said, her tone wishful and quiet. She could picture their adopted caretaker's white face, staring down at them with a quiet kindness. Shyla had longed to see that face again, of the only person in this world that cared about her and her sister.

Nive laughed callously. "Of course I'm kidding, sister." she said, dusting herself off. Her energy disc shrunk to the size of a pea and hovered over her gloved hand like a spectral ring. "Better get going. With this kind of weather we probably won't make it till sundown." she commented, rubbing her arms for heat. She paused to blow a small flicker of fire over her exposed body parts before taking off.

"So that's the plan." finished Phoenicia explaining. "Now, Fraz, were you able to locate the place where they dotre their food supplies?" Fraziel pointed to a building at the camp. "Good. Something i picked up at Sharon's - This is going to seriously ruin their meals." she said with a cold grin on her face, and teleported a small bottle of liquid into the building, causing it to break and spray everything inside. "As much as i'd love it to be poison, unfortunately i wasn't able to obtain one and i might not be able to get lethal stuff through their shield, but something non-lethal, say, a bowel loosener..." she didn't finished as she broke to maniac laughter.

Dagon sat silent for a while thinking. "Send some spies of our own, good ones, to keep an eye on those dragons." Dagon stood up. "Its about time i paid our friend Gorn another visit, only this time ill be bringing Titan." He said with an evil smile.

"Yes, my liege." said curtly Asmodeus, disappearing in a puff of smoke. "I know just the kind of people for the job..." (Who is Asmodeus contacting? YOU DECIDE)

OOC: Obviously some of the actual characters people have made. Just look in the create board.
Gorn was busy working on his explosives, he had just made over 15 when he heard a noise. He ignored it at first but then he heard it again, [shadow=red,left,300]"Gorn"[/shadow]. It was like the forest was calling to him. "Hey Isk, you keep working on the bombs, I'm gonna go check something out." He set his stuff down and walked in the direction he heard the sound. "Hello, anybody out there?" He didn't realize how far he had gone until he couldn't hear the sound anymore, he turned to see that he had no clue where he was. "Um...anyone out there?" "Why yes, right here." Dagon appeared right behind Gorn. "Oh great, you again. Let me guess i fell asleep while working and now you're here in another dream." Gorn said rolling his eyes. Dagon opened his mouth but was stopped. "Look before you even ask, no i have not changed my mind so why don't you run back to your little camp and cry about it." Dagon smiled. "I knew you would say that, so i brought a friend." Dagon snapped his fingers and a Gryadas, 3X the normal size with a giant pyramid shaped helm, came out from behind Dagon. Gorn's eyes shrank and his jaw dropped. "This is Titan, king of the gryadas and my personal pet. You see, this is no dream, and Titan doesn't like people insulting his master." Gorn turned and tried to run but Titan grabbed him. "Don't try to escape, his grasp is more powerful than your whole body." Gorn glared at Titan. "Lets see if he can catch energy." He tried teleporting, nothing happened. "What the? whats going-" "Its his helm. You didn't think we wouldn't have tricks of our own did you? Inside is a devise that sends out a small wave, undetectable but powerful it cancels out any magic of the target it points to, in this case, you." Gorn was really worried now. "Someone knows i'm here, they're gonna come soon-" "Don't worry, we'll be leaving now. All of us, you are now my prisoner, and from what i know, the dragons won't blow up the camp if they know you're inside it." With that Dagon held up his hand and muttered a spell, teleporting them back to the main camp.

The blizzard was still going full force, Vitaly remarked, as he trudged up the narrow rocky ridge. The weather had worsened since he had left the camp. He was now approaching its outskirts, which brushed the feet of the jagged mountains of the region. The protective spell was not as powerful here, and the winds were becoming unpredictable. After walking for a while with his head bent against the wind he looked up and noticed a fellow traveller approaching in the opposite direction. He also noticed that the man was limping horribly. Vitaly stopped and waved as they passed eachother by. "Sir, you appear to be injured!" he called out, approaching the stranger. "Do you need a healer?" The traveler kept their gaze straight ahead. Vitaly frowned and tarried by the path as he watched him limp away. He had just about made up his mind to continue when the wind changed directions, and a scent was suddenly carried over to him on the wind. His nose wrinkled; the smell of perfume and rotting flesh. His eyes narrowed. He turned and dashed after the limping man. "Sir, I really do think you should let me see that leg." he said, placing his hand on the man's shoulder. The man hissed and recoiled, dropping his cloak in the process. Vitaly grimaced, flinching at the sight. "Hello, Wormheart. I see you've found yourself another host." he said, tossing the man his cloak. The man sneered and wrapped himself up again tightly, hiding his poor open chest. He pulled up his hood and appraised the shaman. "It's nice to see you too again, shaman. But how did you know it was me?" asked a ragged, sibilant voice, rows yellow, sharp-filed teeth flashing under the hood. Vitaly clicked his tongue in annoyance. "You can cover yourself in as much frankincense as you want, Wormheart, but I'd know that stench anywhere." he replied, snorting. "Why are you here, Wormheart? This world has nothing for you." he said, watching the crippled figure guardedly. "I'm just here taking care of a few loose ends, is all." said the creature pleasantly. "I'm working with the dragon hunters now, or at least this man is. I was just delivering a fresh batch as a matter of fact, when I was summoned to Lord Dagon's chambers by a very flamboyant, very obnoxious demon sprite." he paused, back turned, "Don't tell me you still traffick with those disgusting entities. And I thought you had changed." he said with mock disappointment. Vitaly remained silent, waiting for Wormheart to get on with it. "Oh, by the way, I came across a little demon girl while I was, ah, cooperating with the dragonhunters. Yes, a young female looking for her father. I thought it might interest you. Anyways, it's been nice catching up, but now I have an appointment with--" the figure stopped short, finding that Vitaly was already on his way, bounding over the ridges and cliffs at a pace that belied his somnolent demeanor. "Ah, Vitaly. As impulsive as always." said the man, chuckling. He turned and continued on, limping in the direction of the camp. ((Lol sorry if that was a bit confusing. I just felt like throwing in another badguy. And giving Vitaly a backstory. : D Also I feel like I haven't been playing him the way I intended to lolol. PS: Osm, don't feel the need to post. The limping man will just be having a meeting with Asmodeus, unless you WANT your guy to talk to him. ))
