Rough summaries so far (note: most still need a lot of work)-
Aether>Flesh>Ego>Aether: "...Egos (mind) = Practical magic, draws power from the caster's mana and crystals or smth. Probably based on the four elements (fire, water, air, earth) and alchemy I guess? IDFK. Basically Avatar: TLA. Taught in institutes and is the most common form of magic.
Flesh (body) = Dark magic, draws power from dark spirits and is used in summoning rituals, mind control, necromancy, also gore wizards. Knowledge about dark magic is regulated, true knowledge is difficult to come by.
Aether (spirit) = Natural magic, draws power from benign spirits and sluagh, pretty much everything not covered by Ego and Flesh. Healing, protection magic (blessings), etc... Highly unpredictable. Everyone has a bit of aether magic, honing it requires years of meditation."
Dark Mirror 2: An alternite dimension from some point along the DE timeline. What if they didn't defeat Desperanus (we only touched on the end of that plot)? What if they didn't repel the wizards? What if Fireheart never taken off and take half the dragon population with him? What if Visron never died???
As a result of the change in key events a different dimension with the same characters emerge, but how are they different? and how can the world be the same?
Alian Invasion: When Fireheart and Dinara had gone looking for stronger powers to try and prepare for future conflicts they had come accross an old ruined planet. It turned out to be where their ancestors had first began, but the planet was deserted. Or so they thought; it turns out that another species had decimated the original inhabitants and some were still there. The two dragons fled the planet, but the aliens new of them now. Fireheart made the portal inoperatable but how long can they be kept away? A few actually got to the planet and killed Fireheart before they were destroyed. If they did apear in force how can the population of DE stand against them and their foreign power?
Other:[/n] Don't put your opinion of what the "other" should be. This point is just another way of saying that we should continue brainstorming and wait.
Note: regardless of the outcome of the poll we'll wait till Young Blood is closed to continue the new thread.
