The Refuge

Meressa watched her friend speak with the human. The blacksmith seemed to be wary of giving Sol'lux armor; Meressa hoped that he did. It would be easier for her to defend herself with it. Just then, Meressa thought of something.
"Sol'lux, make sure that the armor is light enough for you to fly in. Otherwise, you'll be pinned to the ground." She wasn't sure if Sol'lux had heard her or not.

Meressa wandered outside, trying to seem at ease. She noticed that all of the villagers were on edge, and Meressa would be too, if she was a human. Meressa passed a house that was clearly better than the others. It was adorned with jade and gold; Meressa concluded that it was the house of the village's leader. She cautiously went inside. When she got in, Meressa immediately found a knife at her throat. "Please....remove the knife," she said, looking around the room. She saw a bed, with a figure in it. She slipped under the knife, and made her way to the bed. She saw the village's leader with a large slash on the neck, most likely from when Scourge had held him in the air. Meressa quickly made a water orb and healed the slash. She then made her way out of the house while the guards with the knives inspected him. Meressa dashed back to the blacksmith's house.
"Sol'lux!" she said. "I just thought of another way we can help the humans! We can heal their injured, the two of us, because we know how to!"

Starlight had watched Zarin turn and pounce at the nearby bush. Then she heard him gasp in dismay. He was saying something in a low moan but it was too quiet for her to hear. "What?" She asked, confused at his sudden change in emotion.

Ivy woke with a gasp. A little "herd" of hatchlings had been chasing one another and one had fallen heavily on top of her. Jumping off her the hatchling called a apology over its shoulder before continuing with its game. Groaning, Ivy got up and stretched. Looking at the herbs she had with her when she went to sleep she remembered that she had to go collect some more. "No, Zarin had to get some more." Ivy corrected herself with a evil inward smile. she was going to make him get the herbs today as pay back for his little prank last night. Picking up the herbs and relocating them to a safer area, away form stampeding hatchlings, she went off in search for her green humorous friend.

Zarin turned to Starlight with a terrified look on him. "I....I don't know what to do, hes gonna kill me. Hes gonna kill you, hes gonna kill everyone." Never in his life had Zarin been so scared. "Everyone is at risk because of me. " Zarin started to look at the positives again. "Okay he hasn't done anything yet, maybe there's still some time left ." He then saw Ivy out the corner of his eye. "Well, looks like shes gonna try and get me back, hey Star sorry about freaking out here its just......I'll tell you later."

"There you are!" Ivy called. "I have a job for you." Ivy was getting closer when she noticed how anxious zarin was, eyes flicking from her to the bushes around them. "Whats got you all worried?" She said with a smile. "He probably knows it's pay back time." she thought evilly.

Chaos's army was on the move. Finding it easier to move in a girl's body, he quickly shifted into that. In three days he would arrive, and find Sol'Lux to make her life a hell for eternity. The demons, sensing his thoughts, roared a battle cry. Three days, and counting.

"Great job, human, give me your hammer" she touched it with her nose and the hammer started to have gold aura around it. "It will do what i said, but dont you dare to sell it, make a weapon with it, or use it as weapon itself. It can be only passed down in your family, otheerwise, the power will be gone." She bowed and walked away. She tried to fly. It was harder, but she will get use to it. She heard Meressa talking to her: "Finally you are starting to get it all! Its good bond for both sides." She smiled, but the smile was succeeded quickly with lightly scared face. "Do... do you feel him?" She said to Meressa. She sensed that chaos was coming.

Thoron saw the dark army marching to somewhere so he opened a portal to the Jena hot springs while he still had a chance with the Gauntlet being active. as he went through everything turned white then back to color he saw the springs, a human village nearby and the rest of the dragons so without quested he wasn't paying any attention how low he was to the ground then 'BOOM' head first into the ground making the ground shake and Ezalba and Blaze launching off his back and on to the ground. Blaze was still asleep but Ezalba wasn't she screamed when they crashed. Thoron was laying on his back with wide open eyes and breathing heavily then said to Ezalba" are you alright young one, and i geuss were at the Jena springs, GOOD". Thoron remained on his back and fell asleep on the ground he crashed in so he wouldn't have to move when Meressa or Ivy got there to see what happen.

Meressa heard a huge thud in the forest, and a hatchling screamed. "EZALBA!!! Sol'lux, if you're finished here, we probably should get back to the other dragons. Something's happened: I think Ezalba's back, but hurt!!!"

"Then we must hurry. Go to the crash site, your healing spell is far better than mine, and i will go fot Ivy, i think we will need her, it was pretty loud crash." with that, they took off.
"Sorry, party, i am crashing!" She said when she approached Ivy and Zarrin. "I am sorry Ivy for giving you more work, but something crashed, and screamed, in the forest nerby. Mer thinks it was Ezalba, and in that case, Blaze and Thoron are probably there too. I dont know if or how much they are hurt, but there is a possibility meressa won't have enough energy for healing them all."

Ivy turned from smiling at Zarin to look worriedly at the golden dragon from earlier. "I'll go see what I can do but there is not much I can without my herbs." She explained. "Zarin, make yourself useful and go find some herbs. The ones that I might need immediately look like this." she explained, then used a small amount of earth power to make life size models out of rock. There were 4 different kind of leaves, all looking different from 1 another. "Now hurry up. You, golden dragon, leed the way."

"The name is Sol'Lux" she said, "Allright then, follow me. just one little thing." She relased few fasteners and left her armor at the camp. Then took off and led the way trough the forest. But something was bothering her. "I am revealing too much about myself, Meressa probably already noticed my power is light, not energy, and its only matter of time before others do. God, what shall i do, maybe i should vanish for few days, at least i can do some training. but would it be wise now when Blaze returned? The group can move and leave her behind. And there is the strange feeling i hava about" the thought and coughed. It was getting worse. Some darkness was coming, and making her weaker. "Thats it, i MUST train, if i am to succeed at my task." she stopped thinking. They were almost there.

Zarin froze for a bit, then shook his head. "Sorry, what was i supposed to do?" Ivy explained again what he was supposed to find. "Oh, OK ill go and do that." He then went to Ivy and whispered. "If you see a dragon that looks like me but is a different color, RUN OR DIE." Zarin then went off to find the herbs. After a bit of searching, he found one and noticed it had already been collected but replaced. "Oh Ivy." He said shaking his head. "I bet you thought you could get me back with this one."

Kohta sensed many dragons nearby. His father, darkring, had told him to go search for others like him. As he flew over the plains, he saw a pair of dragons on the ground talking to eachother. As not to scare them, he slowly crept up and said, "greetings, i am Kohta, my father and I are seeking shelter...would you happen to know where we can rest?"

I'll help you Zarin. Let's make this a game." Starlight suggested. "How about we go around looking for these herbs and whoever finds the most in 2 minutes wins." she explained. Looking at the life size models Ivy left behind she memorized them. "Ready Set GO!" She cried quickly, then bolted into the surrounding forest.
