The Refuge

"She's gone..." Naïma whimpered as the Heart of Air's powers returned. She stood up straighter. "But we did it."
She turned to Kohta. "I still don't know what happened, but I'm willing to bet that ice dragon over there does," she said, indicating Starlight.

Chaos, who had suffiecently recovered from the crash, assumed his hatchling form and sped over to Anubis, who looked dead. He felt his pulse. There it was, then it dissapeared. It reappeared. Chaos was softly crying, saying for the first time in his life, "Don't die, Anubis. PLEASE don't die."

Anubis stirred. There was his mother's voice calling him. A portal opened in front of him and he slipped through it, saying, "Goodbye Chaos, my mother's calling me. I know we will meet again someday, when I am fully healed. Goodbye, my one true friend." He dissapeared into the portal and vanished.

Chaos, stricken by grief at the loss (though not permanent) of Anubis, and face covered in tears, he bid farewell to Zarin "Goodbye, Zarin. Even if I am evil, you are still one of my true friends. If you ever see Sol'Lux again, tell her I am sorry." He also opened a portal and vanished also, headed for places unknown.

Darkring and Kohta mourned the lost. They then turned to Naima. "Naima, we thank you for your help. We seem to be in the wrong place, maybe even the wrong planet. So now, we must find another place to live." Kohta thanked Naima. A burst of light surrounded the two dragons. They both nodded and steped into the light. When the light reclined, the two dragons were no more.

OOC: That is the end of Kohta and Darkring they are living happily on another planet and will only answer if a race is in trouble

(OOC: That is the end of Chaos and Anubis. Anubis is living happily in Egypt waiting for me to use him again. Chaos is somewhere ( I won't tell, it'll spoil the Disease ;D) brewing up trouble. If you want to use your original characters again, I will create areas for that. Ex: Survival)

Starlight started to cry, head down, and with the crystal orb clutched to her chest. She howled out in anguished as Sol'Lux disapeared. She sat there till she was gone and stayed there even after. Ivy stood there in scilence with her head high and eyes closed, honoring Sol'Lux. After Sol'Lux's body disapeared Ivy stayed there for a few more minutes before heading back to tell everyone it was safe to come out. She then remembered of the pendant Sol'Lux had given her before she and the others embarked on the first journey. She took it off and looked at it for a bit then went to the tunnel entrance and set it into front of the rock at the top so it looked out to any one who went in. She put it so that only the pendent was visible. Then she inscribed, "Here is a remnant of Sol'Lux. A brave dragon who saved us all, and protected the future." over it. Looking at her handy work one last time she could here Sol'Lux'x last words equo in her head, ".....Good luck and take care of everyone. You are the voice of reason....". With that she turned and walked slowly back to the group....

(OOC:oh my gosh. I started to cry and I'm still crying while I write this. this is the perfect ending. should we have a epaloge? A explanation of what happened to everyone, like a month after?)

Zarin got up from the lightning. He looked and saw everything that happened. Something just hit him at that moment. "We dont have very many left to protect us....." Zarin said his good byes to the others that just left, then marched right into the refuge. "EVERYONE LISTEN UP!!" Everyone looked at him. "I'm tried of being pushed around by anyone who wants to get us. When we were in the wild bests would try and kill us, and now even here were getting attacked and have to flee into a cave. Do you want to keep this up every time someone attacks us?" Lots of dragons got up and said "NO" "I say it's time we do something. Anyone who thinks there good enough come with me, before i become a god and have to leave you im gonna train you to the fullest you can be. And im not gonna go easy on anyone." Zarin turned and walked out, when he turned around he saw over 50 dragons following. "The next time someone threatens us, they wont find a few powerful dragons, thell find an army of the best dragons this world has seen!" Everyone following him cheered. Zarin smiled. "Lets get to work."

Zil held Fireheart who was still crying. "Let's go." he said. "We are going back to the fire fortress, but the fire clan will be no more. Clans and their differences led to the wars. Everyone is welcome." With that he took off, but first headed to the crystal volley.
