Chaos, still feverish, but better now, shot in front of Zarin and Anubis and took all the blows. "What are you doing?" he shrieked as the light orbs pummeled him.

Zarin watch Chaos fall to the ground. He then surrounded Sol with lightning trapping her in a cage. "Die." He said and closed the cage in on Sol but stopped right as it barley touched her. He grabbed his head and his eye flashed blue for a second, then went back to red.

"I have had enough. This fighting must end!" shouted Sol'Lux and light emmited from her, flashing trough everything in the area, freezing everyone evil and dark. Let's go, i can't help either of them. They are on their own. she thought to starlight and they gone back to the refuge cave.

"No we don't." Darkring responded. "Do you think we should ask them for help?" He started to move forward toward the dragons. Kohta looked at the dragons and looked at Naima, waiting to see if he should follow.

"We probably should," Naïma reasoned.
Several bolts of lightning streaked past the airborne dragons, and the pair soared out of sight, most likely into battle.
"Then again, we should probably be helping them."
She leapt into the air and hovered just above the others.
"You coming?"

Ivy had returned to her body and was now panting heavily. As she lay there near the entrance she kept going in and out of consciousness as she tried to stay awake. She could hear the battle still going on up above even with the many layers of earth between them.

Kohta spread his wings and started to follow Darkring and Naima. "So Naima, what has happened while my father and i have been gone? Everything seems different." Kohta asked. Darkring nodded his head in agreement.

"I'm afraid I don't know myself. All this time since the war, I've been struggling just to survive, so I haven't really been keeping an eye on any other dragons."
She thought for a moment as the wind whipped through her mane.
"Darkring, you said you knew some of the survivors before you left. Perhaps some of them are still with the group. You could ask them and get a far better answer than any I could give you."

(OOC: thanks for taking care of Starlight for me Nohiki. I'll let you know if/ when my dad ever takes my computer.)
Starlight followed Sol'Lux looking back over her shoulder every once in a while to glance sadly at Zarin.
Ivy was still out of breath and had to concentrate to stay awake but she was slowly regaining her energy back. She just needed time. Till then the entrance was sealed.

Sol'Lux was thinking hard, but she just couldn't find a way to help anyone. "We can try to use portal into the emergency cave, but i can't exactly point the point of emerging, so we can end up smacked by rocks. You choose. I don't see any other way how to do a thing!" she kicked a stone, feeling helpless.
Zil lost pacience and started to walk around. Fireheart was playing with his ears, biting and scratching. he didn't understand why is everyone so afraid and why are the dragons up on the surface fighting.
"Finally. After decades, i am free!" shouted Desperanus in his prison and relased all the energy he was concentrating for the long time in a powerfull darkness beam. As it drilled his way out, he created a shadow wings to replce the destroyed ones, he flew out. The entire sky covered with dense, black cloud, with only weak light getting trough.

Chaos screamed as Desperanus broke free. His memories, the ones he never remembered, the ones Desperanus had forced him to do, the ones everyone hated him for came rushing back into his brain. Struggling and finally breaking free of the ice, Chaos rose into the air, spread his four wings and screamed, "Desperanus!". Eyes glazing blood red over the usual red, Chaos, with his old bloodlust and murder in his eye, opened the void as he did once in the Wild. Undead poured out and surrounded Chaos, mounting higher and higher in his wrath.

Darkring nodded. He reached out mentally to the only dragon he could think of, Chaos. Chaos, Chaos, where are you? We need your help.
Kohta watched his father with admiration. "Thank you for traveling with us Naima, my father and I really appreciate it. We've been traveling alone for a long time."

Naïma opened her mouth to reply, but shrank back in midair as a band of roiling darkness appeared on the horizon.
A storm, perhaps? she thought. No... There was an inexplicable sense of malevolence to the shadowed mass that would never be found in something as natural as a storm cloud. Something incredibly powerful must have created them... Or something incredibly evil...
Wactching the murkiness seep slowly through the sky, poisoning the clear blue heavens, Naïma became aware of a bewildering sensation that crept through her body as steadily as the seething darkness edged through the air.
It's like a disease... she thought spitefully. There's someone out there who thinks he can contaminate the air --my clan's territory-- as he pleases just because he's powerful enough to.
Naïma had never hated another being as long as she had lived. She had felt disgust towards those who had become so battle-crazed in the wars that they had eaten the flesh of other dragons. She had felt disappointment and pity, but never hatred. Now she had her first taste of the bitter and powerful emotion as it surged through her limbs.
Naïma was quivering in defiance and loathing directed at this unknown entity. She knew it was stupid to challenge a being powerful enough to cover the skies in darkness...
Naïma was jolted out of her thoughts by a scream of pain and hate even greater than her own.
"Desperanus!"
Anyhow, there were many more pressing matters at hand...

Chaos halted in his screeching as Darkring contacted him. Darkring? Chaos thought. Is that really you?

Darkring could feel Chaos's pain shooting through his body. "Kohta, come here and help me." He motioned for Kohta to stand next to him.
When Kohta concentrated he too felt the surge of hatred shot at him. "Father, Chaos is summoning the dead we must fly to him."
"Yes we must." Agreed Darkring. "I'm sorry Naima, but our friend is in trouble. You may come with us. But be warned, it will be very dangerous." And with that He and Kohta shot up into the air and started to make their way toward the hatred and pain wavering out from Chaos.
