The Refuge

[Kauria]

Naïma dropped into a sudden crouch at the sound of wingbeats and flared her own wings, fur bristling. She glared skywards as two massive shadows flitted over the town.
Other dragons? Did they do this to the village?
No, they couldn't have. I wonder if they know where the others are...
She waited patiently until the two had advanced further before she took to the sky, following just a short distance behind them.

Darkring and Kohta saw another object on the ground. It seemed to be another dragon on the ground staring up at them. "Maybe we can ask this dragon for some information." Kohta inquired. "Hmm..yes that may work." Darkring replied. They both swooped down to meet the dragon waiting for them.

Naïma dug her claws into the ground to stop herself from fleeing as the two mighty dragons came to rest just a short distance in front of her. She had always been small for her age, but standing next to the gigantic dragons made her feel weak and insignificant. Naïma desperately hoped they were friendly. She cleared her throat. "I was seeking the refuge, and the survivors that are said to reside there. Is either one of you, perhaps, acquainted with any of these dragons?"
With luck, they'll know where to go...

"Refuge?" Kohta responded. "What Refuge? My father, Darkring, and I have been gone from Dragon-Essence for over 7 decades. by the way my name is Kohta." Darkring and Kohta looked at eachother, puzzled.

[Kauria]

"Ah, then I take it that you do not know where it is." Naïma heaved a sigh.
"After the war, it is said, a small group of survivors banded together and fled the lands that were destroyed by battles. I have heard rumors that they have at last found a place to rest and recover. I was hoping that you two were with them." She looked down at the ground and then realized she hadn't introduced herself.
"My name is Naïma, of the Whisper Clan. Although I suppose clans don't matter anymore, do they?" she said bitterly.

Darkring was stung by her sorrow. "Naima, whethor not the clans are here, you should be proud to be part of any clan. My son and I have been gone for a long time. I was one of those surviors but i left after everyone was safe. All I remember is going through a portal and healing everyone. I left to explore the planet called Earth."
Kohta went up to Naima and said thoughtfully, "Maybe we can all try to find this safe place, after all, my father and I are also looking for a safe place to stay.

[Kauria]

Naïma looked up, ashamed.
"I'm sorry. It's just that--- no, never mind. Would you like help me search for this fabled 'refuge'?"

"Honey, i'm home!" said Starlight and Sol'Lux as one. "What happened to everyone? Helloooooo?!" shouted Starlight. "No signs of fight... Wait." she said and tried to reach Ivy trough her necklace, but with no response. "Maybe we shall try the escape cave." suggested Starlight. "Good point." said Sol'Lux and they took off, nearing the village. "Can you let me go? I'd like to visit father after long time." Sol'Lux helixed down and cought up with Starlight in a minute, heading for the escape cave.

Zarin grabbed the earth creature bay its tail and pulled it to him and grabbed its throught. Then he saw the others coming. "Dont come closer unless you want to die." He barked. "The master has orderd me to destroy this place and all in it. So i suggest you turn around or face my wrath." Zarin shot a giant bolt right next to them as a warning.

Naïma looked past Darkring and Kohta, focusing on the movement on the other side of the village. She watched as a powerful-looking golden dragon twisted downwards and deposited a rider near the smithy.
"I know that you two haven't been around lately, but do you know that dragon?"
Naïma's eyes followed the shining creature as it joined a glistening blue dragon in the sky.
"Or her companion?"

"Movement, 12 o'clock low. Looks like Zarin to me, but in that case he just smashed one of Ivy's living statues. That doesn't look like either of them, huh?" said Sol. "Not at all. I saw Zarin in battle only few times and Ivy, well, never." Sol'Lux nodded: "We better check it out." they landed, and when Zarin shown hostility, Starlight freezed him to the ground with thick layer of ice. Sol'Lux came by and swing her hand in front of his eyes. "Helloooo, is the funny dragon home?"

[Midnightmoon]

"Stay back!" Ivy said weakly. "Zarin's not himself. You have to take out that dragon over there. Domin. He's the Master Zarin is refuring to. He's the one in control." Ivy explained. She then began to retreat back to her own body, the earth form crumbling. "Be careful." was the last thing she said, then she was gone.

Domin slowly got up. His brain hurt with Anubis trying to take it back and his limbs hurt from Ivy and Zil'caron fighting him. Zarin still seemed in perfect shape, despite the fact he was frozen to the floor. Apparently Starlight and Sol'Lux were back, but where was Chaos? He knew Chaos might help him in this situation. Domin defrosted Zarin and pulled him back at his side.

Chaos flew through the portal, panting, still in his feverish dream. He collasped onto the ground, panting. He managed to see Starlight and Sol'Lux doing something to Zarin through his blurry eyes and said, "What are you doing to Zarin?"

This is going to get ugly. Cover me from behind. sent Sol'Lux thought to Starlight. She created few orbs of purifying light and shot them at Zarin and dragon who looked like Anubis, but Ivy was reffering to him as Domin. "Zarin, you must come back to your senses!" she tried to reach him.
