"And back in the old days they could make things that we can't who knows what kind of things we might.......say what?" Gorn stopped as soon as Phoenicia said Fire was back. "Showed up right after the party, looks like he still has his timing." He joked.

Dinara suddenly hugged Fireheart. "It's all going to be fine." She murmured before letting him going and jumping through the new portal. As soon as she landed on the other side she heard the crunch of snow and shivered happily for a moment at the familiar element and smells. She was on the opposite side of the Frozen Lake and so 'ran' across to her little igloo she called home. "Hey mum, Sol'Lux said you'd be here. Mum?" she walked through the door and was nearly squeezed to death in a massive hug. Laughing she wiggled free. "Don't just leave like that again, ok." Starlight said in a happy but light voice. "Now come on mom, I was safe. I'm not a hatchling anymore anyway." "Non the less I still worry. so when did you get back?" "Basically minutes ago." Dinara then became sober, twiddling the staff she still had. Starlight was itching to ask about it but attended to the fact that her daughter was upset about something first, "What's up? Did something go wrong." "Nono, everything was fine -well actually, that's kinda stretching things. You see this?" Dinara now raised the staff, it sparkled in the white light that filtered through the now and ice of the ceiling. "Me and Fire went to this dead world. There was a building that contained this and other magical objects there. Thing is, there were these...spider-things there too. We thankfully didn't really have to fight them but they're still as creepy as Hellsbane. Fireheart thinks their the ones who scared off our ancestors from Atlanis." Starlight had gone stiff and was going to ask if they were here, but Dinara continued on, "Anyway, we got back safe and Fireheart destroyed the portal. He thinks that will slow them down." Now she paused. After a moment. "As far as i see there is no immediate problem, so what's making you so upset?" Now Dinara looked down. "Fireheart doesn't like the idea on how things are going to be run around here now and so he's leaving again. He said that anyone who want's to join him should meet back at the Ancient Tree in seven days." "It'll be ok hon, it'll all be ok."
Ah so that's why. Starlight thought.
Dinara now took a deap breath, and let it out slowly. Looking back at the staff in her paws, she got up and headed for the door. "Where are you going?" Starlight called after her. Dinara paused, "They're coming, mom, and there were so many of them. Maybe if we had the the numbers before the big Clan War we would have been able to stop them with ease. But we're diminished and scattered and we don't have much time to regroup. All we can do is prepare. Fireheart's going to come back to a different dragon. Spread the word." Then she left. Starlight smiled at how much Dinara had matured, but there was sadness there too. Sometimes life was harsh and there is nothing you can do.
(OOC: the end for me, unless you guys want me to hold back on my final post. feal free to continue on though.)

"Yep. I sensed a portal like if it was opened few meters near me but there is nothing around, so that gotta be him. He was always about big things." she shrugged and turned around. "We'll, if that's all, i'll be goin'. See you after you find a rusty old box full of spiderweb. Have fun." she said and opened a portal home.
Fireheart popped into the hidden chamber under the tree with the wall of History. As he expected, a new chapter was written on it, concernig what he and Dinara just went through. However, even more information appeared, concerning the enemy they met. He started reading. After two hours, he was finished. He snapped his fingers and lit up the place. "Yes, it all makes sense..." he said once he saw a huge steel door, same as was in the temple on Atlantis. He opened it and walked in, seeing the same eight corridors as those they recovered the magical items from. He put the items on their respective places. When he was done, he went back and closed the door. then he started casting protective spells. It took him two days. He was exhausted, but finally happy with his work. At last, he created a magical seal that will teleport the choosen ones into the weapon chamber once they are ready. He took a rest for another day and then went to spread the word of his cause. He thought of it before. He wll create an outside dragon population on the mainland, where he'll teach and train the others to help him return their home island to it's former glory one day.
Sol'Lux returned to the fire fortress. She felt something wasn't right. When she saw the fortifications, a black flags were hanging down from the crenellations. When Sol'Lux landed, a messenger was waiting for her. "Ma'am. I am sorry, but i'm afraid I have bad news."
On the seventh day, Fireheart went to the Ancient tree. He was pleased to see that about hundred and fifty dragons decided to go, but looking around, he only wanted to see one.

Starlight glided down to land in the mass of dragons. There weren't as many as at the gathering only a week ago but there were still quite a few there. Starlight looked back over her shoulder the way she came, remembering the last conversasion she had with Dinara...
"You know I'd want to see Fireheart again and go with him but I just can't." Dinara said shaking her head, twirling a vertical stream of water under her hand. "And why not?" "I don't know- I just..." Dinara released her hold on the water and it splashed down to the ground. "I don't know. Besides, he's going to be helping training, and training himself. It'll just all be too strained." "What?" "Nothing. So you're going?" Starlight paused at the change of attentions, but didn't comment on it. "Ya. If what you guys saw is really coming and they're as bad as you say they are, then I'll need to be at my peak." "I'll be here then, when you get back."
Starlight sighed and looked back around to everyone else.

"Not twelve hours ago a group of radicals stormed the palace. We tried to hold them off, but last I heard they'd made the upper--" the messenger was cut off by a loud explosion.
Rosengard brushed rubble off his pitch-black scales as the group of dragons surged around him, surrounding Zil'Caron. He shook himself and the blackness disappeared, revealing the glossy red scales beneath. "I'm terribly sorry, old sport, but your existance has jeapordized my position on the final council... I'm afraid it has to come to an end." said the garish red dragon, an orb of white-hot fire charging in his hand while the other dragons held and pinned the hapless Zil'Caron. Pinned as he was the fireball hit him full force with the power of an exploding jet engine. Rosengard dusted off his hands, which had been blackened by the blast. "Now let's blow the top off this place. No one is to tell a soul about these things." he warned, and a layer of fire flashed over his scales, blackening them beyond recognition. The rest of the dragons followed suit. Then one by one they threw themselves out the hole in the wall, circled the tower once, and dispersed, like crows to the four winds.

Rivers of tears were falling from Sol'Lux's eyes as she was standing in the hall, looking at unoccupied space where the part of the castle, including Zil's chamber, used to be. "No! This is all my fault!" she whispered. Then she turned around, jumped into the air and left, not to be seen for a long time.
Fireheart whistled to calm the crowd. He was pretty miserable from past few days. His father's demise didn't help it at all, but on the other hand, it was water on his mill. "Ok. All of you who are here, you probably know why. the new system already has it's fruit. My father's dead, because somebody envied him his success. We gathered here to leave these foolish skirmishes behind and focus on greater goals. I'm not gonna lie to you. This won't be easy, and the reason for this is terrible. The truth is, one enemy like we never encountered before is out there, and they're coming. We must prepare to meet them and when they come, stop them." Oh my, they're all older than i am. blicked through his head, along with She's staying. "So we're going to live on the continent and prepare. There are many arts you never dreamt of, and they will all be needed. This is your last chance to step out." Nobody moved. "Then let us begin." he said and took off. Two beams of light shot out of his hands, drawing a circle around the gathering. Then a cylinder of light formed from it and before everybody counted to three, they were on a learing, far away from their homes. Time for some leadership. I guess. just be polite and not too bossy. "Allright. Earth dragons, please raise walls and buildings. Air dragons, an area survey will be handy. Water dragons, please check for water supply. Fire dragons, we'll need some wood. Ice dragons, scatter and check the fauna, we'll need to eat something. Darkness dragons, you're on a watch." He did an area wide mind scan and found few individuals he found worthy of getting higher functions. He smiled when his mind found Starlight. "why hello, i wasn't expecting you. Please see me, i'll need a veteran like you to help with the training."
Phoenicia watched them leave. Now they were all gone. her father was dead, her mother was hiding, her brother left. She looked sadly into the ground. She was alone. She flown away, trying to find at least some of her friends.

Iskander slid to a halt at the bottom of a sandy hill, the forest of sparse, hardy trees deteriorating into a sea of sand. He whistled in amazement. The wind seemed to whistle back over the vast expanse. He squinted into the wind, looking for a hint of architechture amongst the shifing hills.
((Join up or bail out, I didn't mention any one cause I didn't want to make the decision for them. XD)

Starlight snorted "I may be older then you, but I'm no veteran." Starlight looked around for Fireheart but couldn't see him. Then she searched for him with the energy sensor and grimaced at all the elemental usage all around. She soon found the little fire dragon though and quickly locked away the sixth sense again. Rubbing her head at the minor head acke she took of and flew gentle towards him. "When I have complete control of that little trick with no side effects then you can call me a veteran." She grumbled to him as she landed.
