At first Ciro was relieved to be out of the cell, but as soon as they made it into the Void he could tell something was wrong. Then he noticed; the strange, ubiquitous whistling that had filled the recesses of the Void had died down, leaving the lifeless plain in utter silence. It struck him that the eerie whistling he'd so despised actually made the alien dimension more disturbing with absence. He followed Pandora wordlessly, stopping only to thingy his head when the ground began to vibrate underneath them. They'd been running only very briefly when a low growl echoed from within the Void and Ciro recoiled, alarmed, when Pandora nearly snapped at him. "He's here!" "Who's here?" asked Ciro fearfully, but his question went unheard as Pandora pulled them into another portal opening out on a range of mountains before the sea. He could only throw himself into a rocky fissure and make himself invisible as Pandora confronted whatever strange creature had followed them there. At least the light city had had a regenerative effect on his energy; he wouldn't have any trouble casting magic, if it came to that. He sorely hoped it didn't.

Pandora stared at the multiple eyes in the darkness hoping that Ciro had escaped. When she noticed the light dragon had vanished; the dragoness was relieved until the eyes blinked and the creature hissed. The giant snout could be seen as it slowly materialized out of the cave opening flicking it's forked tongue at her. Pandora took two steps back while looking at the thing before she turned her back and attempted to escape, but when she tried this, the huge cave dwelling wyrm catapulted out of the opening with open jaws. fc01.deviantart.net/fs49/f/2009/235/f/3/wyrm_by_picture_bucket.jpg The fifty foot long wyrm caught the dragoness' by her right leg and threw her to the ground with lightning fast snake movements. She struggled to get up and attack the creature until it came down on top of her with open jaws. Pandora cried out in pain as it sank it's fangs into her neck holding her down as a shadowy figure carrying a staff appeared out the shadows of the same cave. "You are by far the most stubborn fool I have ever tortured to bring a life form into my existence. I should just let my pet have away with your incompetent body!" Spoke Void as he walked up and keeled over to look at her face. He brought up his right hand and damped it into her blood running down her neck and began to wright odd symbols on her face that matched the symbols on his staff. "It interests me on how you can use my realm to port yourself anywhere you want, but of course that could be the affects of leaving you in there for so long! No matter, when I take you back to the Void with me. You will never be able to do that power again!" Spoke Void when he stood back up and ordered the wyrm to carry Pandora into the cave. "Ciro help me... your light powers..." She cried when the creature lifted her off the ground by her neck causing her to bleed out of her mouth. She was being dragged slowly back into the cave with Void following behind hearing her cry. "What, that mortal is still here? He has light powers...?" Yelled the entity as he tried to make it into the cave before his servant could. OCC: Void is an extreme phobia when it comes to light elements. Looks like Ciro's light powers could be of good use right now, for Pandora's sake!

This isn't happening. Ciro squeezed his eyes shut. As if facing down the gyrada hadn't been trial enough, now he had to fight a wizard and its pet cave wyrm. How was that fair? Risi and Tea's attitudes have been rubbing off on you. Who said you had to fight them? he thought, forming an idea. He couldn't very well leave Pandora to fend for herself, after all, she'd helped him escape the dark dragon's lair... plus she was his only way home right now. Well.. here goes nothing. he thought, summoning his energy. Seconds later, a fearsome light dragon burst from the cover of the trees, golden scales blazing forth a barrage of light at the wizard and his familiar. A pillar of light from space itself followed its path across the clearing, coming to rest where the dragon reined itself in, glaring at Pandora's captors. Ciro daren't speak lest his hatchling voice give away the illusion. He hoped his message was understood. The dragon was glaring bullets at the pair of interlopers in its fury. Perhaps he should make it shoot lasers out of its eyes?

Void's wyrm dropped Pandora to the ground with a thud and escaped back into it's hole when the light of the beast touched it's shadowy hide. Void exploded into black round pebbles like that of his realm and vanished when he saw the light dragon charging at him. There was a silence when Void and his monster were banished. Pandora looked up at the light dragon as she laid on the ground dazed and hurt. "Who the hell are you? She asked with a growl as she wobbled herself to her feat trying to stand. She sat down and placed her right paw on the side of her neck keeping an eye on the stranger. The dragoness began to breath slowly to calm herself from the mild wounds of the attack she obtained.

"Pretty good, huhn?" said Ciro, grinning as he dropped his cloak and dispelled the illusion of the luminous dragon. "Who was that guy? I don't know what I'd have done if he didn't happen to be scared of light... Oh-- your neck--" Ciro blundered as he noticed the wounds Pandora had sustained. "Want me to..?" he asked tentatively, holding out a glowing paw, not sure if it was wise to use healing magic on a dark dragon. He'd heard stories about them bursting into flame when affected by light magic, though he was pretty sure they were false.

Pandora lifted her gaze gladly at Ciro when she saw him appear making the illusion fade away. "That illusion was yours? I'm impressed!" She said as she stood up and limped over to the young light dragon "You have my gratitude, and yes you can heal me. That being you saw is a god of that lifeless existence we both traveled through." She groaned painfully as she stopped a few feet from Ciro and sat down leaving her injured neck open to heal easily.

"A god? And he was afraid of one single light dragon?" Ciro wondered, dubious, though reveling in the praise. Risi was never gonna believe this. A god! He'd scared off a god! His paw glowed with a pearly white light and he applied it to the wounds on Pandora's neck and body, sealing the them shut. (Thankfully, she didn't spontaneously combust.) "So now what? That guy knows you're here now, doesn't he? Does that mean... does that mean you won't be able to open portals to that shadow world anymore?" he asked in horror, his dove-white scales suddenly turning a tinge of ashen as the thought struck him.

Pandora stood up rejuvenated after the magic had healed her wounds then she looked at Ciro again and said, "Thank you Ciro and don't worry! We'll just walk the distance until my feel of the shadows have lessened of his presence then we can use the shadows again." She stretched her wings out in comfort of the night sky and began waking aimless through the mountains like she knew where she was going. "I'm very glad that worked! At first I thought that Void was going to laugh at that illusion of yours!" She giggled a little continuing her walk looking back to see if Ciro is following. "After this bend then I'll see if I can use my Shadow Step again alright young one." She spoke trying to comfort the young white dragon.

Ciro nodded and sighed in relief. He'd been quite worried for a moment there. Especially considering you left your tracking crystal on the sky city.. he reminded himself, trotting after Pandora. Not only would he have been stranded, but his family wouldn't have been able to find him if he went missing. He was glad to put some distance between themselves and that cave however. "What is this place, anyways?" he wondered aloud, staring up at the unfamiliar mountain peaks as he tried to keep up.

Pandora looked up as well to observe the mountains with Ciro. "This is the place where I first set foot on your world Ciro! I'll let you in on a big secret of mine when we get back, IF you promise not to tell anyone?" She offered as she stopped and looked down to the earth as a gust of wind blew past her picking up a dust devil in the ravine behind them. She looked back up and continued past the bend that she mentioned earlier and saw a odd opening in the ground that looked as if something dug out of it. "Here this looks like a good spot to bring us back to Energy Peak we should..." She stopped as she noticed something at the bottom of the cave glinting like a well polished jewel. First it was her head entering the fissure then her whole body. After a few seconds the dragoness' arose out of the deep hole holding a neck less of an hourglass in her jaws. She dropped it into her right paw that she brought up when she entered on to level ground. Her eyes widened when she realized what it was making her gasp out one word, "Brother." She looked back at the light dragon clinching the piece of jewelry in her talons like she forgot. "This way come on!" She directed as she and Ciro re-entered the Void. In the distance of the Plains of Void there was a massive shadow pillar that could be seen as the two dragons ran the opposite direction of it.

"Sure, I can keep a secret." he yawned, the long day beginning to catch up to him. He jogged doggedly after Pandora, stopping abruptly when she began to disappear into the fissure. "What's going on?" he asked nervously, casting about in case they were ambushed. "Uh--" All of a sudden, the black mist rose again, and they were back in the lifeless plain. "Pandora, are you sure this is a good idea...?" he hissed remonstratingly, recalling that the enemy they had just faced had come from the Void and that he wasn't supposed to use any light magic here. He stuck close to her, having no other choice, throwing a wary glance over his shoulder at the pillar of shadow dominating the unmarked skyline.

OCC: In the distance of the Plains of Void there was a massive shadow pillar that could be seen as the two dragons ran the opposite direction of it.
Pandora looked at the shadow pillar behind her as she kept her pace. "Well I guess that spell you used pissed him off! That giant pillar behind us is Void trying to enter our world as his immortal form; with any luck, he won't be able to notice that were here while he is doing that." She said as she stopped and opened a portal into the cave that belonged to Ciro's mother. The two walked through the portal and onto the rocky opening of the cave. "Oh yeah that secret I wanted to share with you. I was never born on this world and your really looking at what use to be a human. I was born on Atlas with my brother Zetherus before I was taken by an entity that would soon turn my life into a living hell! I spent what felt like an eternity in that lifeless plain as he turned me into this and now for some unknown reason he placed me on this world for his own pleasures!" She sat down lifting her right paw after telling her story and opening her talons revealing the neck less resting in her palm. "My brother stole this from the royal dragon palace that lived in our city as a present for my thirteenth birthday and I will never forget it just because of that insane attempt he pulled off!" She continued as she turned her gaze to the expanse that rested before the mountain she and Ciro was sitting in.

"Wow." Ciro exclaimed, dazed. To be back home safe and sound after such a demanding trial was disorienting. It felt like a lifetime since the argument that had led to him storming off into the forest. It was very late, or rather, early, birdsong breaking the silence of the night in a faint, disorganized chorus. "So... you're an alien?" he asked slowly, unable to process the conversation any faster. He was tired, and being back home only made him more so. "And that guy-- the one we fought-- turned you into a dragon... and sent you to this planet... For no reason whatsoever." he finished, eyes narrowed in concentration as he pronounced each word dully.

"It is hard to believe is it. I don't blame you for not understanding because it's also hard to believe for me also! This world I found in the Void was the best accident I have ever found! I wonder though, what if he directed me here on purpose?" She asked aloud to herself, almost sounding as if she was asking Ciro. She could hear the singing birds in the breaking dawn as the sky was barely lit by the early mourning sun. "Now that you know about my truth I hope for the best of you and your family! Now go sleep young one before you collapse!" She said jokingly as she noticed the white dragon falling asleep beside her.
