"Where're we going now?" Kana inquired cheerily of the Hunter leading her. She hadn't seen Pandora leave after her this time, so it was reasonable to assume that she wouldn't see the dark dragoness for quite some time. "And do you have any food for me?" "No." The Hunter pressed a gloved hand to the wall, and a glossy black door slid open. He led Kana to a small metal pedestal and tied her harness to a marble pillar. A slender man with brown hair approached the stool, carefully measuring the blue-and-white dragon and recording the numbers on a pad of silver paper. He disappeared again and Kana fidgeted, looking at the room around her.
(OOC: Heheh, bit of a fillerpost. Don't kill me! I promise I'll actually do something to help move the story along eventually!)

A mage entered the room, inspecting the blue-and-white dragon also, but this time using his magic. "Magical capacity, 100%." He said to the recorder who had come back with him, who scribbled it down on a piece of parchment along with the other data. "Equip her with the magi dragon battle gear. Emblazon it with the Silver Claw emblem, Timcampy's group. They're the main magic users." The other man nodded and scurried off, returning shortly with the new measured armor. Holding firmly to the magebane halter, he started attaching the armor onto her torso, limbs, tail, and finally, after 30 minutes, he put the helmet onto her head, which bore a silver claw. The mage grasped her halter, then led her down the dark passageway, which led out into a giant courtyard. "This, dragon, is your new home." The mage grinned.

Kana resisted the urge to gallop out into the courtyard, but a twitch rippled down her body in excitement as she beheld the opening before her. "Does this mean that I'll get to see some action soon?" she asked the mage, the circumstances of her capture completely forgotten.
(OOC: Ohohoho, we may need some opponents. And now I sound like Morty. Brilliant.)

((OOC: Lovely. Tournament idea accepted.)) The Hunter jerked on her halter, cutting off her voice. "Silence, dragon." He growled to her. "Be silent, or your tongue shall be cut off. The tournament will start soon, and all dragons are to participate.Hope you survive.."

((Re-joining this thing as a different dragon, merci darkdragon. Sooo instead of clutter the "create" page with another critter, here's a brief summary: i978.photobucket.com/albums/ae262/Wiremouth/Europa.pngName: Europa Gender: Female Element: Ice and Space (and a teensy bit of water) History: Europa was captured some time ago, longer ago than she cares to remember. She used to work in the mines before her talent as a fighter showed itself. One of the workers accidentally let her off her leash for a second, and in that second she had already ripped out his throat and tore the head off another. They managed to get her under control finally. She still has scars from that day; you can see them under her regular gold markings, the gray lines all over. Personality: Europa has a very icy outward temperament. Years of being tortured have made her distrustful and harsh. She hates the confinement of mines. She'll fight with everything she's got if it means keeping afloat; one wrong move and she could be killed, or worse, sent back to the dungeons. Europa's markings will flash red when she is angry or when she blushes. Teehee. eue' i978.photobucket.com/albums/ae262/Wiremouth/EuropaRAEG.pngAbilities: Europa can create jump-portals with her space ability, though the slavers have placed a device on her that prevents her going more than a few feet. (the same device that prevents her from growing any larger than she was at 14) Her water abilities are underdeveloped; she can't move much more than a litre of water, though she can use this litre with deadly efficiency combined with her ice powers. That will be all. Do I pass? <'D)) Europa paced restlessly behind the grate of the colisseum. Move, already! she thought with vehemence. When the grate went down, that was the only time she was free. And tournaments didn't come around often enough for that taste of freedom. "Where's my opponent?" she asked one of the guards. "Hey, keep quiet, you." he said, though his voice shook. Europa may have been chained down, but she had a deadly reputation, and some of the higher-ranking officers bet on her frequently. If she was injured or put out of her way before the match, well... The guard who had done it could say goodbye to his testicles. ((I'm sorry you had to hear that. XDD))

As the grate on the other side of the arena rattled down, Kana felt the Hunter beside her tense slightly. "What is it?" she asked, forgetting the order not to speak as she tried to get a clear view of her opponent. The Hunter appeared not to care about her disobedience for the moment, as he leaned over and explained. "I pity you. Looks like you're going to end up fighting Europa your first battle. You're gonna need all the luck you can get if you want to survive. But maybe," he continued, straightening up and looking back over the opening, "if you show enough promise, you may get out alive on an appeal for further training. Now go." The barred gate slid down with a clank and the Hunter stepped back as a new one rose up behind Kana. The chain attached to her halter clicked open, and she was free to enter the coliseum. Uncertainly, she took a couple of quick steps out into the arena, looking around in surprise. The spines on her back rose in anticipation, small crackles of electricity leaping between them.

The grate rattled down. Europa's ice-black eyes flashed as the chain pinning her in place dropped to the floor. The guards standing by her had long since scarpered, and now all that was left was the small flickering shape on the other side of the arena. Europa felt a twinge of sympathy as she examined the young one's expression. She was probably fresh off the slave wagon. Nonetheless, Europa snapped her whiplike tail and charged into the arena, sending rows of razor-sharp icicles out of the ground toward her opponent.
((Round one! Commence! XD And sorry if it looks like I made Europa uber, she's not all that tough. :3))

Kana blinked in surprise as she spotted her opponent, a lithe, sandy-colored dragoness. However, she didn't have much time to observe the other before a series of icicles shot out of the ground. Emitting a startled yelp, Kana shot to one side, her slender legs pushing off with more force than she had planned. The blue and white dragon skidded and stumbled as she attempted to turn around quickly, ultimately tripping over her own legs.
(OOC: Sorry that I didn't give you much to post off of. I promise I'll actually do something next post... )

((Lulz, no problemo, Europa will have fun. :3))
Europa sighed. Why had they bothered pitting her against a new one? Running in a long arc around the arena, Europa attempted to stall as the small dragoness regained her footing. This wouldn't work for long, though, as the crowd was getting impatient. She realized they'd sent her out her to witness a massacre; they weren't interested in a battle of equal odds. Oh well. Europa slid to a halt and pretended to circle the dragon threateningly, though she had all the opening she could want. She lazily summoned a sphere of water from the ground, making it encase the dragoness' head to deprive her of oxygen. If she could just knock her out for a bit, she wouldn't have to rip her to shreds.
((Stall stall stall.))

Kana began to panic as she realized that her head appeared to be encased in a globe of water, making it impossible to draw breath. Calmdowncalmdowncalmdown, she instructed herself. Calm. Down. Find the source. The other dragon? Definitely. So disrupt her concentration. How? Did you really just ask that? Struggling to hold her breath, Kana formed a small sphere of explosive energy in the palm of her hand and released it in the dragoness's general direction, hoping that it would be enough to distract Europa.

"Ouch!" Europa yelped. "That hurt!" She'd forgotten to sever the thin link of water between her and the water sphere. The water hissed into vapour from the energy's heat. "You little--" nobody had landed a hit on her for a long time. Leaping back, Europa send another column of icicles out of the ground in the little one's direction.

"Oh d—" Kana began as she spotted the attack. Deciding not to risk tripping again, she rolled to the side, the membrane of her right wing tearing as two of the icicles ripped through it. Grimacing in pain, she quickly understood that if she wanted to avoid further injury, she'd have to attack at some point. The younger dragoness pushed herself to her feet and leapt forwards, breaking into a sprint the second she hit the ground. Don't slow down and you won't trip. She lunged at the other dragon with her jaws open, her scales fizzling with lightning.

((Wut? .-.))
Europa stepped aside, feeling a sting as the small dragon's charged fangs scraped her shoulder, sending an electric shock through her scales. Being part water had advantages and disadvantages, and being a good electric conductor was one of the latter. Trying not to touch the crackling critter, Europa welled up a slick of water under its feet and froze it solid, hoping to get her opponent's feet tangled again.

The Count strode into his personal viewer box, interested in the outcome of this battle. Solas was cradled in his arms, now almost fully healed, but still sleeping soundly. The Count looked down at Solas, smiling. "I'm going to put you in this tournament, Solas. You'll do well with your powers." The Count said, then turned to the guard. "I will place my dragon in this tournament, general." The man bowed nervously, then carried Solas off into the corridor. The Count turned back to the battle, the smile now gone as he considered the new dragon's battle, figuring out whether or not she would be trainable.
