leaf was about to land on vorun to pin him when vorun rolled over and kicked up sending leaf flying through the air. he then managed to twist midair and snapped out his wings to glide through the dust to where he saw light shining through. he knew exactly what it was it and might just give him the edge he needed. He glided down and landed right next to the arena wall.

Vorun righted himself quickly, coughing and wiping the dust from his eyes. He positioned himself well away from the earth dragon once he took to the air, wanting to lure him back towards the ground, where he could use his shadow magic to full advantage. Going invisible would be no use, the dust trails would give him away. At least the dust was good for something: it created a sort of covering, keeping the light from touching the ground. Now what was this earth dragon planning? He couldn't afford to draw this match out any longer... Body tense, he waited for Leaf to make his move or betray his intentions.

"hey really sorry about that i just meant to release myself from the earth. every now and then my earth magic acts up and does more than what i intend." he shouted hoping to draw vorun closer by giving off where he was.

"Don't worry about it!" Vorun called back, trying to pinpoint the earth dragon's voice. So he was waiting for him to make the first move, eh? He crept around through the falling dust till he could see Leaf's silhouette and lunged with a sweep of his tail, aiming for other dragon's feet.

Leaf tryed to grab on to voruns tail planing to yank vorun towards him while doing this he planed to use a massive stroke of his wings both to help pull vorun towards himself and to clear the dust so the light from that pearly white dragon would reach the ground. If he pulled it off he could sucsefully pin vorun and elaminate his escape route of shadow jumping.

"Hm hmm these two are good, but I have no bets on which one is going to win! They look equally matched from what I just saw!" Thought the giant dragon out loud as he dusted dirt off the top of his snout with the inner membrane of his right wing. He curled his wing back then looked down at one of scaly maidens carrying the dragon meed. It occurred to him why he came, so he unwrapped his tail from around the pillar he sat upon and inched it down near the dragoness and tapped his armored tail against the rock. It caught the dragon's attention immediately as the metal made a loud crude *clink,clank* against the stone. She looked up at him confused until she saw him point to one of the stone mugs. "Hey can you give one those?" the giant spoke with a smile trying not to laugh. The Earth dragoness bowed her head while eyeballing him then toke off and moments later coming back with his size clay mug. The mug was a typical custom king size for the giant so the maiden placed the eight foot cup on the coliseum's brick as she levitated up to him. Thoron grabbed the mug and slowly brought it to where he was able to take a good lick out of it enjoying the taste. He looked back at the girl and flicked a silver coin toward her. She caught it with a hunk of mud she levitated, pulling out the coin and dropped it in a leather purse around the maiden's neck happily bowing at him afterwords. The black dragon slightly bowed back as he saw the dragoness take off to another customer in the corner of his eye.
OCC: I had nothing else to wright! XD

Vorun gasped as he was flipped on his back and dragged into the light, caught off-guard by the risky strategy employed by the young dragon. He kicked and snarled as he was hoisted into the air, breaking free and landing on the ground with a thump. "Enough, enough!" he croaked, panting as he dragged himself to his feet, defeated. "Well done. It's been a long time since I've had such a good fight." coughed the black dragon, grinning.
"Does Vorun concede the fight to Leaf?" interrupted the announcer, catering to the expectant crowd. Vorun nodded. "Yes. Good game, my friend." he said benevolently, offered a dusty claw to the other competitor to shake.

leaf shook hands with vorun."for future fights i will try to learn how to control my earth magic more."he said smiling slightly"we may want to clear out now and let the earth dragons reform the arena floor.I'm pretty sure that they aren't very happy with me." and he stopped shaking vorun's hand and walked back to where he had entered the arena and was met by sapphire who took him back to the room he had been assigned, and started fretting over the scratches he had gotten."will you stop that its nothing I'm not hurt that bad" he said through gritted teeth, why did alcohol have to burn so much?

luna saw how leaf had used her light to keep vorun from shadow jumping. this was a very clever dragon, good thing she had bet on him. she preferred to bet on the newer ones, not a lot but still.

"my scaly butt it's nothing. this could get infected you know. then where would you be when we had to amputate something? now sit still!" she reprimanded leaf poring more alcohol on his scratches. she finished up by manipulating some water from a bucket that she had requested and moved it over his scratches the water glowing lightly and the scratches healing up after a few passes with the water. "you might want to go wash up you look brown except for where you got wet, or would you prefer i wash you instead?" she asked smiling broadly the water a shifting ball next to her head.

"oh no you don't i am NOT doing that again!!" he shouted back at her running out of the room to go to the river, with sapphire chasing him with the orb of water.

Bruised and battered, Vorun returned to where his healer stood at the other end of the arena. Gratefully he let the dragon minister to him while he brushed some of the dirt off his scales. Perhaps he'd enter another fight later, but for now he was exhausted. After his injuries had been tended to he wandered outside to the fire pit and joined several dragons in their drinking and merriment. The games were truly the happiest time of year. ((Aand Vorun is out. At least for now.  )) |

"What? You lost." yelled Pandora in ignorance when Vorun had declared defeat. She saw the dragons take off different paths but she followed the dark dragon. When she caught up to the loser, the dragoness walked up to him and growled, "I can't believe you lost with that power of yours. Did you let that dragon win?" The arrogant creature waited for an answer.
Thoron gulped the last of his alcohol then took off to meet the dragon who showed great effort but lost in the fight. He flew in out of nowhere with a full mug good enough for Vorun's size and landed near the fire almost extinguishing the flames. "Great fight dark one now here have a drink." spoke the giant as he walked up and placed the full mug in front of the dark dragon. Moments later as Thoron got comfortable near the fire and had a few decent conversations with the other dragons a small dark dragoness appeared behind the losing constant and attempted to insult him of his loss. Thoron smiled when he looked at the small rude dragon then at Vorun. "I think you earned a lovely fan!" snickered the giant as he looked back at the fire trying not to stir anything else up.

"Hey, thanks, big guy!" said Vorun in surprise, accepting the mug from the giant shadow dragon gratefully. He was just about to take a sip when he was approached by a rather peeved-sounding young dragoness. He listened to her denigrating harangue with equanimity. It wouldn't be the first time a dissatisfied better tried to pester him. "He won fair and square. I'm sorry if you lost money on me, but that was your risk to take." he said nonchalantly, taking a swig of his drink. "Try to enjoy the rest of the games okay?" He took another sip, intent on enjoying the better parts of the festivities.

Phoenicia sighed. "Fine. As long as you promise to run like hell where it's due. I already buried a brother far too early, if you get killed, what's left of you will have to deal with me." she elbowed him jokingly. OOC: Bloooooock  EDIT:
Sol'Lux struggled with the snow for a second, but managed to get her wings free and get to the air again, holding as much snow as she could in her arms, ready to get on top of the tiniest spec of blue and drop it all from above, while she was watching for any incoming shots.

There was a slight shift over by the edge, hardly anything, then another closer and then over the next few seconds a bulge of snow apeared and gained speed. The tips of Starlights wings sliced the surface like a pair of shark fins before she peaked her head out through the surface. Ducking again she disapeared for a few more seconds before exploding from beneath Sol'Lux to grab her and tumble them both back to the tree top.

Before they impacted the snow, Sol's scales started glowing. The glow then went all the way from her tail to her hand, from which it shot out in a brilliant yellow beam, melting the snow and causing them to fall right through into free fall.

Near one of Dragonessence's moons a small comet trailing twin white tails passed the planetoid in seconds as it neared the lush hospitable planet. In five seconds it traveled by the moon and already made contact with the planet's ozone layer creating a bright blue ray over the snow covered mountains. The comet melted and the form of a great violet spirit dragon appeared as it glided over the land in total silence. The great dragoness slowed as she neared a flat plateau in the snow not knowing that Sol'lux and Starlight were in the presence. Seriena's spirit form touched the flawless snow with her two front paws then dropped in silently behind the two playing dragons unnoticed. The great heavenly disc on her back stopped rotating when she slowly opened her glowing blue eyes and searched through the snowy plain trying to map her surrounding. The spirit quickly noticed the two dragons playing then froze with her frozen blue eyes locked in a stare emitting enough light to be seen through the snow high above the two. The great form stood there watching trying to figure out what they were doing, but still she wasn't sure what they were doing so her strong curiosity drove her silent until she was noticed.
