LTGB II: Return of the Games.

"if your going to melt all the snow there's going to be none left for me to beat you with." Starlight gasped with a galant smile as she let go of the light dragon. Swiveling her wings she started to control her fall, pulling up to head back to the top. "hey," she said suddenly when she saw the weird crystal like dragon, "did you or any or your children find some ancient fossilized light dragon and bring it back to life without telling me?"

Leaf waded out of the river and spitt a good five gallons out of his mouth,"i can't believe you blasted me in!" He said to saphire "oh don't be such a sourpuss." She said swiming through the water like a fish then padded up onto the shore smileing at him

Sol'Lux aimed and just as Starlight opened her mouth, she threw the snow right in, or rather, she would have if a cracking sound didn't stop her. She came to hover, holding her hand, muttering something for herself: "... stupid old cripp..." She looked how badly she missed, "I missed on purpose!" she tried a futile save, "...dumb rusty old bones..." she complained, her elbow being in a storm of stabbing pain. "Wait what? I call hax."

[Zetherus]

Seriena looked right at the blue dragoness when she noticed her then vanished when a wall of snow passed by between the two. When the wall cleared the great dragon had vanished from sight until a perfectly white dragon of Starlight's size snuck up beside to the two. "May I ask what you two are doing? I can't tell if the other one is trying to drown this one!" curiously spoke the white dragoness as she sat tilting her head at the two acting as if she wasn't sure what they were doing.

[Midnightmoon]

"Of course you did." starlight grinned. "I guess the young ones can call us elders now or at least I'll except the description now. And about what we're doing; we are having an epic battle of wits and fury and me redeming my ice dragon honor. I'm quite certain that I won last time but Sol here, I'm sure, would probably tell you differently."

[Morty]

Ciro sighed and lowered his shield. "Thanks, ma." he said, still not meeting her gaze. "But I really would like to go see that history place, after all." he said, smiling. Arguing was exhausting! He didn't know how Tea and Risi managed to be at each other's throats so often, it was downright untenable. Now that he had gotten what he wanted, all he wanted to do was sit back and admire his victory for as long as it remained non-Pyrrhic. A little ancient history never hurt, either.

"Start looking then if you see something weird, i think it was underground so i'd start at the roots. You might wanna go fetch your sister for that, her gift could help, although with as much magic around here, she might be as magic blind as all of us. still worth a try, if you can pry her away from Scourge. I'll be right with you, But Grandma is getting herself into trouble again..." Phoenicia facepalmed, not understanding the game Star and Sol were playing.

"We must be getting old. I can't remember who won the last time." Sol'Lux complained. Phoenicia came from out of nowhere and looked at her mother. "Yet you're still tossing snow at each other like kids." She said and looked up Sol's arm, healing a hairline fracture in it. "You've gotta stop putting so much strain on yourself. Your bones are getting brittle because of all the suffering they endured through your life as a killer machine. i wonder if this is what's in it for me." She said, finishing up the spell. "Good to see you again Ma."

[Morty]

Ciro let himself recover from the blast of wind kicked up by his mother's wings before circling down and looking for Lantea. While magic sight was certainly helpful, the real reason that he wanted to ask her for help was so that he wouldn't have to wander around by himself down there. Despite his mother's assurances, he couldn't help but feel wary at the thought of exploring an ancient ruin alone. He spotted Gorn and Lantea in the crowd that had gathered in the arena. Ciro angled his wings downwards and landed on an empty seat beside them. "Hey. Want to go look for a magical cave?" he asked Lantea, eyes flicking to the display of violence taking place between the two combatants below. Ugh, how could they even watch that stuff?

Just to spite Pheonicia Starlight gasped at her sppearance and squeaked, "GAH! Reinformcements! DiveDive!" Diving head first back into the snowtop she once again disapeared.

"Good to see you t-" Phoenicia shouted to where Starlight has disappeared, only to be hit in the jaw by Sol's snowball. "EVERY GIRL FOR HERSELF!" Sol yelled and went for evasive maneuvers. Phoenicia spat out the snow. "All right, THAT'S IT!" She yelled back, "So this year, i'm not going easy on you in the arena. Prepare to have your tails kicked, ladies!" she said, spiraling down to the tree roots. If she was going to throw something, it would be fireballs.

"Sure, last time a magical cave was fun. I practice, Risi got his jaw frozen shut and you caught a nasty cold let's go!" Lantea said, the demon now completely forgotten by her goldfish attention span. She climbed won from her father's back, taking first steps since the injury. It was healing for three weeks already and she felt fine, but the earth healer said four. So far her legs supported her without any pain, only feeling a slight tingle when she walked. "Lead the way."

After a few seconds Starlit responded by sticking her tail out of the snow and waving it.

Zephyr continued past Dinara and Taranus, heading for the battle lines. "So when will it be my turn?" He asked the sign up dragon after inputting his name. "You almost missed entering. In any case the next battle will be between Dargon, a dark dragon, and Heilum, and air dragon."

[Morty]

Ciro huffed. "Yeah, next time, warn me if you're going to start practicing ancient magic." he said, then took to the air. "The place is supposed to be underground, somewhere around the roots, I think. Mom said it was a place for recording history. Are you gonna be ok to fly?" he asked, noting Lantea's trepidation.

[saphira]

"We should problably find somewhere to roost in the tree before all the good spots get taken way up high" sapphire said to leaf taking flight with leaf trailing behind her with a big clump of earth in his legs. They eventually found a spot up high in the branches that forked and twisted just right so leaf set down the bit of dirt and they went to work filling in the gaps with earth. Once they finished that she supplied him with some dried meat and some water." Stay here and get some rest theres one last place i want to check for sol'lux. And i mean it." She said to him climbing thee rest of the way to the top. Her head poked out of the snow right behind sol'lux " hey iv'e been looking for you." She said to sol'lux.

[Zetherus]

Seriena looked at Starlight still clueless until a light dragon appeared making her flee, yelling 'Reinforcements". The lavender white furred dragon smiled noticing a type of playful humor when Starlight vanished into the snow. "Oh how could I be so foolish!" She said just noticing the dragons were playing not fighting. The dragoness grinned cleverly as she dragged her long haired tail on the surface of the snow which clumps of snow stuck to her fur. When Seriena was about to bombard Sol'lux with the snow on her tail a white dragon appeared only to be pelted in the face by Sol'lux moments later. The dragon looked mad when that happened but when she vanished, the mysteriously furred dragon smiled ignoring the negative attitude and spun around while lashing her tail which sent a wave of snow at Sol'lux. In that wave was a snowball the size of a human head flying right at the light dragon's face.

Sol'Lux jumped as Sapphire surprised her. "I know that voi-" then she caught the glimpse of a snowball flying at her,merely lowering her head a few feet and letting the snowball miss like a boss. She used her shield bubble to melt herself a trench in which she ducked, as their game started to attract too many people to avoid crossfire. She looked back: "Oh dear you've grown!"

"Nah, If i put too much strain, the stitches will tear. Ma refuses to heal me after last time, and you've been listening to her and didn't even try yet." Lantea pointed an accusatory finger on Ciro, understanding why mother forbade him, but wanting him to try none the less. "I'm good on walking though, and that should do if the entrance is on the ground. I'll go clockwise, you go the other way, see if we find anything, agreed?"

A blue dragon flown above the tree and stopped. He saw several others down at the top, playing snowball fight. With a troll smile, she punched one of his fists against the other, and snowballs started raining from the sky. Fraziel dove, heading straight for the snow and burrowing as well.

Something loudly zapped behind Tara, making her jump. She smiled, recognizing the effect. She turned around with the angriest face she could muster: "REX! I told you not to do that!" "Tara got scared! Tara got scared!" the younger energy dragon laughed, earning a slap. "You here for the arena?" "no. Noone good enough to fight." "Scared?" "OK, you're on!"
