"That's what in the water?" Akari responded using a question. She was desperately curious about what a "Hespin" was, but she'd gotten unfavourable rsponces to similar situations before, so held her tongue.

"Hespawhat? Can I eat it? Can i put it's stuffed head on my wall?" Loki asked, remembering the collection of heads of his enemies, most of which were lower animals though that kept bugging him, and few unfortunate humans that refused his kind motion to go away. More seriously hten, he continued: "Hm, and can somebody, eeeh, make the sea split or something? I want to see what that thing is but i... i hate water."

"Aye, and a big one, too. I wouldn't really recommend trying to eat it," said Daedalus, shuddering. He glanced over his shoulder at the heaving, slate-grey sea. The waves were beginning to froth and lap against the coast, white crests appearing more and more often as the storm picked up its pace. A briny wind blew in from the sea, catching his wet dorsal fin like a sail. It seemed to be pushing them all towards the island. "Well, I don't know about you three, but I'm certainly not going out in that." he said blithely, "Maybe there is a cave or something to take shelter further in... You're welcome to join me." He winked suggestively at Akari and stepped out of the water. Two orbs of liquid trailed after him and formed a pair of blisters over his gills. At the edge of the beach he paused, waiting to see if anyone would follow.

"A cave down would certainly make things simpler. But if nothing is to be found we'll have to come back here to make our way down the straitforward way." Akari followed behind the water dragon, ignoring his attention. "In any case, if we are to continue along this path then we should aquaint outselves with each other. Call me Akari."

Daedalus looked at Akari with a puzzled, stern expression. "If you're thinking of trying to find the source of that... disturbance, you're mad. There is a full-grown Hespin lurking around down there and Nautilus knows what else. I couldn't see the bottom, but there was definitely something strange in the water down there.. By the way, I'm Daedalus. I wish we didn't have to meet under such bizarre circumstances." he said. He paused in midstep and glanced over his shoulder at the two dragons on the shore. "Are you two coming?" he called, the wind making it difficult for his voice to be heard. "I don't like the look of that water..."

"Nah. I am pretty scared of that big pitch black cave. I rate my chances better with the water and the hespin." Loki chipped in, sensing more than just darkness from the cave. Also, he could sense the cave running deep, very deep. "It goes under the ocean floor. One crack and we're flooded, sunk, drowned, crushed and flushed. No thanks." he said, shaking his head violently.

Hashin turned to the dragon behind him introducing himself with a response, "Yeah my name is Hashin good to see ya, and uh yeah I don't pleasure being out here at this moment, it feels kind of alien out here for some reason!" The wind dragon followed after Daedalus to seek comfort in this so called cave mentioned by one of the other dragons that recently appeared. Hashin kind of ignored Loki's inquire though, what he was sensing was far worse and evil then some collapsing cave or a haspin. He just wanted to get to the cave and think of a plan just in case something was allured to their presence. And there was something out there and it is getting ever closer to the island.
Out on the mainland there was a slight glow of green in the forest, deep in the forest, vary far from the new found group slowly growing ever brighter as the night sky slowly ascends over the oceanic horizon.

"You don't want to enter the water because of your distaste of the liquid, but refuse to enter a cave which is that much drier? Sure, we may be crushed if the cave callapses or something of the sort, but from what I hear of water dracon magic, it should be a simple enough feat to allow us to breath for the time it takes to get ourselves out of imidiate danger." She started off again with a confidence she didn't feal, pausing beside Daedalus, "You can keep us alive in the water, right?" She whispered to him. Not waiting for a reply she entered the cave right behind Hashin.

Loki stopped humming the tone he always thought would be his one for the funeral, if by that time he couldn't exist as undead. He shrugged at the female's suggestion, not getting up. "As opposed to the demon i feel inside the cave crawling towards us? Nuh uh." he said plainly, as if no lives depended on it.

Akari wasn't sure she heard correctly, "Demon?" She reached out her senses, wondering how a demon could get close without her noticing. "Ah, i seee you. Like tears in a river..." She thought to herself, feeling her lips draw back in a small snarl of distaste,"Yesss. Guess you were correct dark one, good eyes. But it shouldn't be too hard to clense it. Only the small can squeeze through the... walls..." She trailed off when she spied it's tall bony form crouched over, slinking into the dim light of the cave. If it stood up it would tower over them like a old dead tree, but the roof was too low and it seamed unable to straiten anyway. Akari raised her wings in menace, baring her teeth, but didn't move; she didn't know how to go at the creature safely in this form and feared being ripped to shreds by those long tallons. "Oh me, oh my, I seem to have lost my way." The demon mumble in a husky voice, tone full of silk. Then he noticed the dragons, "But to my pleasent surprise I've founds some travelers. Strangers, you wouldn't happen to have anything to trade while I travel this new domain?" He tapped his tallons with sly greed. "Some trinket, some object. But of course maybe you yourselfs are looking for something; power, life, vitlity. Maybe we could help each other."

((ok so apparently there's a cave now))
Daedalus hissed and drew away from the cave entrance, his fins flaring. "A demon, you say? Careful, I wouldn't trust it." he said, his eyes flicking between the demon and the other three dragons. He raised his voice and addressed the demon: "What are you doing here? Are you here on a master's errand?"

"I would like to think that I'm a master of my own, but that is not the case I'm afraid. Currently I'm just browsing, though, and master doesn't have to know about any exchanges that happen today." The demon explained sweetly, drawing closer. "Hsss, don't speak with it. It's silver tongue will weave lies and deceive us all. We must banish it before it can get into the world." Akari hissed, though still didn't advance. The demon paused and gave her a hurt look. "Banish me, little preistess? When I could give you all so much." it cocked it's head as if listening, "Don't you want to gain what you have lost, never again be haunted by uncertainty and dictated by the-" Its sweet consolation was cut off when Akari finally lunged forward at it, bowling into it. What was once a voice of persuation was now a high blood curdling screech as it tustled with the white dragon. Akari flailed her forelimbs, trying to land a blow.

Loki watched the commotion with great interest. He was expecting the males of the group to decimate the demon before he could try to strip it of it's power. that was when the silver dragoness engaged. "Did she just... Wow. Real heroes guys." He said and his scales changed colors to match what was behind him. He moved slowly and attempted to trap the demon in vines.

"Well, I suppose that means we won't be doing any negotiating." said Daedalus as two of the unfamiliar dragons leapt into battle. Akari sprang up and tackled the skeletal demon to the ground , while the other seemed to have disappeared. Fleeing so readily? thought Daedalus, lip curling in mild disdain. Moments later, a web of vines sprang up from the sandy soil and pinned two of the demon's legs. Daedalus guessed this was the dark one's doing. So he didn't flee, after all. "All right, that's enough!" said Daedalus. The moment he had a clear shot, he blasted the bedraggled demon with a concentrated jet of water, stunning it. "Tell us where you came from, demon. You must know something about the pulse that went out earlier today. Speak!" he spat, keeping an eye on Akari. Something the demon had said had set her off, but why? He was rather perturbed by the turn of events this day was taking. If only they could coax some information out of the demon, maybe it would shed some light on the strange occurrences that had been taking place.

Hashin was stunned when all of a sudden the other dragons started attacking something lurking in the cave. "What of the air goddess are you all attacking?" Yelled the wind dragon as he struggled to realize the demon standing in the cave entrance. Before he had time to react, the demon was bounded by vines and stunned of any dangerous movement, so instead he cautiously walked up to the demon and asked, "What is your kind doing here on this little island plagued by an ominous presence lurking beneath the sea?" He looked over his shoulder at Loki then called out, "You, get over here and tie this creature up into a cocoon of vines so it has no chance at all with is scrawny arms to free itself?" Hashin looked to the others and asked with a smirk to Loki. "Why don't I know you name. What is it if it's not a secret?"
