The two fighters in the current generation of Lux family might both seem strong, but in the ring together, they are anything but immortal - the mighty Taranis and the ruthless Lantea. I'm Nohiki and it's my job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a death battle!
Both of them are children of a guardian and a demi-god, which itself is a one way ticket to an important destiny in one way or the other, and usually comes with power deserving of it.
Taranis is a lava subtype fire dragon who inherited the looks and strength of his grandfathers. He can and will fight just about anyone just to prove that he can beat them! And when he cant find an opponent, he just goes bashing rocks. What ever have they done to him?
Despite having the body build of his grandfathers, his personality is akin to his mother's in his age. Basically, he is a volcano that is ready to explode at the weakest sign of anger.
His weapon of choice is his body. He relies heavily on overwhelming physical attacks, which are often enough to incapacitate opponents in single shot. He can crush stones with bare hands, wrestle bigger opponents and take many hits that would have dropped another of his age. Taranis hardly ever using his element to aid him.
BUT WAIT!
He also inherited the ability to enter god mode, making him inferno itself! Due to his young age and inexperience with it, he can however barely control it, one time setting the dragons' meeting ground on fire!
Taranis' defense is again composed of physical blocks and dodges, making evading magic difficult for him, but who needs that when the other is turned into a pretzel in a second, right? And to top it all off, he can manipulate gravity to pin his opponents and disallow them from moving anywhere.
This superiority complex is his greatest weakness, making him ignore most of the threat indicators.
Lantea is a storm subtype energy dragoness, who spends her time improving herself in harnessing all powerful powers of fowerfulness to powerfully increase her already powerful power. Did I mention power?
When she has free time, she either studies magic techniques, hunts for treasures or saps life energy out of innocent animals to replenish her reserves.
Whenever she had her fill of innocent souls, I guess she decided to protect the island (so far). Lantea is a skilled sorceress, mastering many spells of the ancient magic, a nigh-forgotten art allowing her to cast pretty much any spell she wants. However due to her low age and experience, most of these spells take inpractical time to cast, limiting her to only few spells he can cast with mere thought or shouting a simple formula and her training has yet to have effect on her magic reserve. These spells include teleportation, arctic blast, life sap, searching spell and shape shifting.
She also learned a hexing curse, allowing her to bring bad luck upon her foe. The downside of this is the fact she has to draw a tattoo on the foe, which can be dangerous. She is also less than familiar with her elemental magic, only recently regaining access to it.
THERE'S MORE!
Lantea is also a basilisk. She lost her vision power to turn a person into a stone when her eyes were harmed in her cataclysmic birth, and although her sight was restored later, the vision power was gone. The blindness period led to her developing superior senses. She still possesses her venomous fangs and her poison equals quick and painful death to any creature with natural magic.
For defense, Lantea relies on superior speed and agility and is rather fragile, although years of training and fighting made her capable of taking a few punches. Most of all though, Lantea is a great combat strategist, ready to (make a) sacrifice (others) for a favorable outcome of the big battle.
Now it's time to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!!!

Did I miss anything (Mostly with taranis obviously) before we move to the fight?
