"Hey what the?" Targus tried to break the dark rope but he was pulled in. "TARGUS!" Agate yelled then looked at the fire elf. "It seems he is the only threat, the fire elf is only worried about her and the dragon." Agate the turned to the fire dragon. "I have to stay and keep the dark dragon in here, can you save Targus for me?" Agate asked the fire dragon as he released him from his cage.

The half-elf was hung upside down in front of shadow. Shadow looked at himself. His skin was turning a grayish-black and his eyes were completly blood red. He bared his fanged teeth at the half-elf.
Darkness roared and struggled inside his cage. He must stop his partner before it was too late and he killed everyone again. "Let me out!" he yelled.

As soon as he was free Firen lunged to Ambers side. "Apparently we have to save the earth elf." "We'll try at least." She was running out of arrows and they didn't seem to have any effect any way. "You distract him and try to get the boy. I need to find my daggers." "Note so self, carry more then 2 daggers at all times after this." Firen lunged at Shadow. Missing he tried to grab the boy. Amber ran to the side to where she thought her daggers were tossed.

"Hey......um you wouldn't want to kill me now would you?" Targus said sarcastically. "You know the second you try hurt me Agate will smash your dragon. Do you really want to take that risk?" Targus threatened to Shadow. Agate still had a hold on the dark dragon. "Give me one good reason. from what i can see, letting you go will put Targus in even more danger. So why should i trust you?"

Shadow glared at Targus. This elf had hurt him, along with the she-elf. The orb of mist started to expand. A cage of shadows surrounded Targus, while his leg tether was still on. He called to Amber, "Follow me or the half-elf gets it." He turned to the earth dragon. "You touch Darkness and Targus get's it also."

She found her daggers and had them at the ready. She turned and looked at the dark shadow cloud and the read eyes staring out at her. "I can't trust you. Who's to say you'll let him go?" She said with defiance. Firen had given up at trying to grab shadow, and he couldn't use his fire breath in case he hurt the little boy. He hissed.

Targus was surrounded by black. He sliced around to cut the darkness, but every time he did it sealed up again. "Ok Agate, this was a bad idea. Next time don't listen to me when i say lets to save someone."

Shadow stared her down. "Well, good point. You can't really trust me just as I can't trust anyone but my clan and Darkness." The orb started floating away. "If you want your partner back, follow me. " He called to the earth dragon.

"What do you think Firen? Should we follow?" "I don't think we have a choice in the matter if we want to help that boy. He did assist you when you were in a squeeze after all." They fallowed the cloud at a distance and wearily.

"What if we made an exchange?" Agate asked. "At the count of 3 you let go of Targus and I'll let go of your dragon deal?" Agate was using his last idea he had.

"Sadly, no deal. Just follow me or Targus get's killed. And don't you DARE hurt Darkness. For every hurt you do to him, I'll double it on Targus."

Amber continued to follow the cloud with reluctance. "Well we can't just walk int our deaths. Have a plan?" "No nothing." He looked over at the earth dragon. "You think we could get him to help?"

Agate followed with the dragon still in the rock chamber. He expanded it to the size of the dark orb so it would be fair. "Don't worry Targus, I'll think of something." Agate said to himself. "Your d**n right your gonna get me out." Targus replied. Agate shot up. "We can still communicate?" he said confused. "Old dark forgot to block us, but I can't see anything so this is just a comfort and a way to help you plan. First off, get the fire elf and dragon to join us and establish a mind link with them so the dark guy doesn't know."

Shadow spoke directly into Agate and Targus's mind. "Well, well. A prisoner plotting to escape. We can't have that, can we?" He tightened the cage around Targus. More shadow ropes came in, binding Targus's legs, arms, and hands.
Darkness contacted Shadow. "Well, I'm still alive, but it's getting hard to breathe and move in here." Shadow called out to Agate. "Hey, let Darkness have some air." He tightened the cage around Targus.

"Well thats not good." Agate said. "Quick, Agate. Ask the fire elf how good she is with blades." Targus said in a type of elven he learned. Luck was had that the demon didn't speak this type of elven from him giving a weird look to them. Agate then smashed a hole in the rock for the dark dragon to put his nose through, but nothing else. Then Agate went to Amber. "Hey." He whispered so Shadow couldn't hear. "Targus wants to know if your good with blades."
