I like the other planet idea, but spaceship sounds a little farfetched. Dragons don't really have the nimblest hands for these things, after all. Which is why humans are useful. >n> And post apocalyptic is gooood okey. Only I was thinking more of a marshy, boggy, acidic terrain, with lots of-- you guessed it! TRENCHES AND BARBWIRE. > Remnants from a human war? Then what's left of both races would have to work together to build a ship/ create a portal/ rebuild civilization. Humans have opposable thumbs hurrhurrhurr. >w> Edit: Also the ideas we discussed about being trapped in a huge labyrinthine mansion, Alice in Wonderland style, trying to avoid a nameless, faceless beast. The object is to get out alive, and maybe destroy the beast in the process.

I have no idea why I only seem to have ideas for +Anima, but I got another one! Actually, I've been thinking about this one for a while. What if Tyay is experimenting with the artificial creation of +Anima, taking the children of lower-class families and attempting to recreate the circumstances that would result in +Anima? So essentially secretly gathering test subjects and placing them in life-threatening situations and using captive animals to try to force the change. If the protagonists could somehow reveal this to the kingdom of Astar, they might convince the rulers to break off the alliance and abolish the practice of using +Anima as slaves.
I don't know. Just an idea.

ok, I get the lowerclass children part, and the situation where he makes them change (if they do) to make them "artificial", though I don't get the last part:
"If the protagonists could somehow reveal this to the kingdom of Astar, they might convince the rulers to break off the alliance and abolish the practice of using +Anima as slaves."

That's what VI and XYZ are up to; kindapping children and making them sick/etc so they become +Anima. At least, according to my version of the story. T_T *casts a glance at dark*

Eheh, sorry that I haven't read all the way through the thread yet. Busy. And in response to Midnight, I don't know exactly what you're confused about, so I'll just explain everything in that sentence. Sorry if I tell you stuff you already know. Clearly, "protagonists" refers to the (good) characters of the story. Astar is the country that was originally neutral towards +Anima, but allied themselves with Tyay, the kingdom that uses them as slaves. These circumstances suggest a possibility that Astar could be reverted back to its former state of equality. If the experiments are being done without the knowledge of its rulers, you could try to open their eyes to the existence of the unethical tests.

Unethical! >:0 /offended I assure you our testing is 100% humane. Our subjects don't feel a thing! UwU

EB plot ending ideas:
this was in the chat box and I was too lazy to write it proper here.
MidnightMoon: the good alway have a sense of ballance. maybe they thought it was unbalanced for the dark clan to be locked away so they weakened the spel binding them to the prison land...
and gave them ways to change other clans into their own. it's a potion that just needs some magic from the the clan you want to turn the subject into and there you go. curse and cure in one
then by the time they saw the dark clan was going out of control they were too powerful and changed the white into black, making the angels of void!
only a few were left and they fled to hide with the humans and when a couple got the courage they finally tell amber (or someone) about it and the potion
Morty: Light-types can really never be actually evil? Maybe it was their idea all along. Let loose the demon clan then blow them up once they've taken care of the dirty wake.
They could have formulated the potion to react violently with.... the light from a full solar eclipse, maybe? The date by which they expect the demons to have finished conquering?
Some of them could be against the idea, of course. They could be the ones that escaped and tell Amber about the cure for the potion.
MidnightMoon: btw: why would they want to destroy everyone? Morty: For the same reason the demons want to destroy everyone! MidnightMoon: to rule the world and expand their ranks? Morty: Of course . They probably believe the other clans are lesser, and are just using the usual suspect to do the grunt work.

Okay so here is my idea. A few years after TD (im gonna say like 5-7.) the wizards from the other continent attack DE to gain the power of all the dragons. Leading this army is a wind, ice, energy, fire, earth, water. Basically a wizard for all elements (except light cuz light is good (most of the time.) and Dark because the dark wizard is the main leader and he stayed back at the main continent.) The wizards dont seem to be much of a threat until with one swift attack they take over about 1/4 of DE.

So like, a council of elements, amirite. Hell yeah!
Maybe the wizards could be playable characters? I wouldn't mind playing a wizard, maybe not as an official char but to make them you know, more than kill-bait, know what I'm saying? XD Maybe each council member has an ifrit familiar? Like a sort of spirit that accompanies them and grants them special powers? Kind of like EB only they're not born in pairs, the wizard choses a spirit that will not require a ritual to summon after the first time, the spirit will just come when called. *cough seven elements seven princes of hell cough* *bricked* <D
Maybe the reason they set out to gather elemental energy from the dragons is the same reason Emma did? To cure an illness? (In this case the Disease, not just some mysterious coma lolol)
The unexplored continent's wizards would be kind of like the badass, more advanced cousins of the old continents wizards. XD

Ideas for Post-LGB era: - Fireheart and Dinara will return (with success of obtaining what they are searching for, doesn't matter) with aliens that destroyed Atlantis right behind them - Classic war RPG like we had here already but maybe with more doom added to it.
- The elders decide that DE should be ruled by, let's call them 'noble houses', families of some dragons who have the guts to take the responsibility. Those will maintain a certain piece of land, so they kinda substitute the element clans, but they have dragons of all elements in a certain area. Progress, even though a little. - Creates space for assassinations, succession wars and inter-houses war.

I like the idea with the elders. SUNNY would probably want to be on the elder board. I also like the idea of assassins. But when I think assassins I think cool strappy armour and hoods. XD I don't know how a dragon would wear a hood lolol. *shot* But it does sound like a good base on which to build. Too bad there aren't more members, it sounds like the kind of story you would need a lot of players for. RANDOM IDEAS: See, I like a plot that's unorthodox. No definite good or evil sides, yanno? Well anyways. -Some humans show up and ask for help. They say the old pine forest has recently started teeming with hostile monster of all kinds, and they're constantly getting attacked. This is ever since they started clearing the old growth forests and replacing it with farmland. It might seem like the forest has a mind of its own, but there's actually a witch behind it, and she's bent on covering the whole of the continent with her forest, now that she's been angered. Anyways, it's up to the dragons who they decide to help; assist the humans in expanding their farmland and free them of the cursed forest, or help the witch in expanding the pine forest and making it unfit for other kinds of trees. Help the witch and there's not much else to do but burn a few villages and plant some trees, help the humans and there'll be plenty of the witch's servants to fight. IDK, unorthodox, but aren't we looking for something a little different? XD Other idea: By now you should know Iskander's a magnet for trouble. Knowing him he's probably let a whole lot of demons out of Hell with his little stunts, or maybe one of his former homonculus creations comes back to haunt him. I don't know, there's a whole lot of things that could happen. XD Plenty of options. Other other idea: Imperialist light dragons from another galaxy decide they want to set up shop on Dragon Essence, and decide a few "impure" elemental dragons aren't gonna stand in their way. Sh/tstorm ensues. So yeah, random.

I like the idea with Isk because i could never think of a reason for the wizards to attack. So maybe a portal to hell opened up with Isk came and they use the power coming from it to be....well.....powerful. but seeing as its hell power they become evil and attack the dragons.
