"Mission?" asked Hydrax and kneeled. She put her hand on the ground, closed her eyes, and asked the waters to show her a way. "This way." she said and pointed slightly left. Whistling, she headed that way.

Supported by the doctor, Rook limped through the forest as fast as he could, despite the arrow in his back. Blood was seeping through his black shirt from back to the front, staining his clothes. "Up ahead is the rest of the +Anima, doctor." Rook said weakly. He could see them up ahead, identifiable by the wolf girl and the dolphin +anima. He started coughing, blood coming up from his lungs. "****, I've lost a lot of blood." said Rook, then the ground rushed up to him as he fell unconcious to it, a red blur clouding his vision.

Ingrim grimaced and picked up the +anima boy gingerly. He could feel the dampness seeping into his gloves. A trail of red wound its way into the forest behind them. "Oh, sh-- Help!" he cried out urgently as an arrow buried itself in a treebranch over his head.

Hydrax could hear the cry for help. "There and hurry!" she said, nervously pointing to the direction. She looked at her crippled hand. She felt helpless, useless. That wound seriously endangered HER mission. "Maybe i should do it now" she said, and slowly came behind Tateen and Falco. Then she changed her mind. "No, the bat would be useful..." she thought and ran after them.

"guess that means we're saving them." Tateen mumbled, speeding up. She was ahead of her two companions in a few seconds while past the batboy and in front of the soldiers in a minute. "Come on you guys. This is, what, the third time you've tried to catch one of us today? Just go away, lick your wounds, and think up something new at least." One slashed at her. "Your not getting away this time girlie." the attacker snarled. She side stepped. "Do I know you? Oh yes, your the oaf who has made it a obsession to catch me. Not that I'm not flattered that your trying so hard but what I said means double to you."

Rook was concious, but just barely. A red mist clouded his vision, and he could not feel anything but an immense pain. There seemed to be blood everywhere, and there was battle noises in the distance from where the +Anima clashed with the soldiers. It seemed to be a losing battle, though he could not tell, lying helplessly in the doctor's arms. He could suddenly see behind the doctor's face a soldier, which was creeping up behind them with a bow pointed toward the doctor's back, along with two others, who seemed to be carrying something in between them. Rook tried to lift a limp arm to point at the men, but it was numb, so he tried to say, "Look out!" but all that came out of his mouth was more blood. The man said, "Surrender now, doctor, and give up the +Anima, and we'll let you go, unless you are an +Anima. Come with us. Your friends are a little occupied now, and that boy isn't going to survive much longer without any care."

Hydrax had enough. She tried to hold it deeply inside, but deep down, she loved the smell of battle and revenge. She was losing control of her behavior. "Yes... I... Wanna... FIGHT!" echoed trough her mind, and her body changed, growing razor-sharp fins from her wrists to elbow, somehow healing her wounded hand. Breathing quickly, she leaped into the battle, attacking the soldiers, until she had her sight on Tateen. In the next second, she was charging on the wolf anima, like she was stripped of all sense.

Tateen was taunting and dodging the other soldiers attacks as well as attacking surrounding enemys. She was getting quite bored of the "game" and was about to finish off the obsessor when her ears picked up a different pair of foot falls coming at her. Kicking the soldier in the face- he slumped back unconscious- Tateen turned int the direction of the out of place foot falls. She couldn't vary well see it in the undergrowth and what little wind there was was taking the scent away from her. Then boom the thing got close enough for Tateen to get a fresh scent and by the time she realized it was fishgirl the other anima had exploded out of the undergrowth and tackled her. "Oooof!" They both went flying and sprawled on the ground. Tateen wiggled to push Hydrax off. "Hey! Wrong person."

Hydrax barrel rolled few meters away and landed on four. She wasn't capable of understanding what Tateen said. Acting like mindless fighting machine, she roared, showing her spiky teeth in her dolphin shaped, yet human face. She jumped near Tateen and tried to slash her with her fin, but stopped few centimeters before. "Run away!" she managed to say, before her other self took over again. She punched Tateen into her stomach from below with her other hand. Jumping back, two more pair of eyes appeared on her face. Meanwhile, her positive self struggled for control. Over the years, she knew that the bad mind will give up once their body is tired, so she tried to get her as close to the soldiers, and as far from the +anima around. However, then they smelled blood. Not human blood, much more like a bat. While she was searching for the source, somebody hit her into head with something heavy, causing her to fall unconsciously.

THWAP, PING, THUNK. Guards would fall in an instant with an arrow right between the eyes. Falco was keeping close watch when something hit the dolphin lady. Quickly he jumped into a sprint until he got close enough, he slid, grabbed her. "Sorry, but it appears to be her nap time. I'll let you know when she wakes back up." Falco quickly got back up and ran and hid in the forest again.

Tateen was curled up on the ground clutching her stomach, the wind knocked out of her for a bit. When she regained it a few ragged breaths later she mumbled. "Good to know." There was a rustle and a net fell on top of her, entangling her. Tateen knew from the graying in her vision that her eyes had changed. Growling she tried to cut a few of the ropes to wiggle out before the thrower finally caught up to the net, which wouldn't be much longer from what she could hear.

Once out, Hydrax's bad part retreated and her altered animal traces vanished. She opened her eyes, recognizing Falco. "What? Where am... Oh, don't tell me..." she said when the memory provided the answer, and also reminded her of her head. She looked for anyone with weapon big enough to do this to her. When she found her target, she pulled a silver dagger out her sleeve and thrown it. It pierced the soldier's head and flown out on the other side, taking his brain with it and pinning it to a nearby tree.

Tateen growled quietly to herself as she worked at the ropes. Judging from the fineness of the net she would need to cut through quite a few. "Just a few more..." The rustling got louder and a small head popped through. "Ha, caught you you stinkin' anima." Tateen glared at him as she worked. She was almost though the last one she needed when he kicked her right in the gut Hydrax had recently punched. Tateen gasped for air. "Not so tough when your all tied up are you? Where are your insults now?" As Tateen glared at the assailant, now with tears of pain in her eyes, she gasped out. "And...your...so...tough...with me...tied up..." Then adding with a smirk, "...human." His face contorted in anger and disgust he kicked her again.

Hydrax saw what was happening to Tateen, and this time both her bad and normal self agreed. She stood up and aimed. She pointed her hands on the soldier. "Kick this." she whispered and a stream of water shot out of her hand, it's head being dolphin-shaped. It hit the soldier, catapulting him dozen meters away. Hydrax took her sword and ran towards Tateen. Standing up in front of her, about ten soldiers looked their way. "Now's your chance, archer boy." she thought and prepared for attack.

Tateen was curled in tighter around her stomach. "I'm SO going to feal that again in the morning." Groaning she murmured between breaths. "Back to...normal?...Not that... I know... your definition... of normal." She then gingerly unfurled and cut a few last ropes to crawl out.
