Hydrax just shook her head. In the next second, hell was everywhere. She jumped to the air, turned fully into her evil-dolphin-self and started turning as she fall into the group of soldiers. Few next moments could be described as "giant meat-grinder", with former soldier's flesh turning into hamburger meat by Hydrax's fangs and sharp scales flying all around in a shower of blood and intestines. Another group of soldiers fled when they saw what happened to their comrades. Turning back to human form, Hydrax pointed at another group: "Next?"

Tateen tried to dodge the larger chunks but a few got to her and stuck. "Bleck, they smell horrible. Deer is much better then them any day." Then calling over. "You need..." turning around Tateen punch another net thrower in the face, and when he fell she continued," ...any help?"

"They are 2/3 down or deserted. I don't think they have the guts... On second thought, there is plenty for them to take." she said looking around. Remaining soldiers shook in their boots and ran away. Hydrax raised her sword and then pointed at them. A wave appeared and made the fleeing soldiers fall, washing them out of sight. she turned around to Tateen: "Ya OK?"

Tateen put on a cute smile and posed. "I'll live." Then bending over to clutch her stomach again, "My stomach on the other hand has taken a beating. Darn human, your theatrics didn't help me either. But as I said, I'll live." She got up stiffly and waved to Hydrax. "Come on. Let's go find birdboy and leave only dust and leaves in our wake."

Falco felt his quiver and was glad they where done fighting, he had only 4 arrows left. "That was impressive." He said walking out of the trees. "Never seen a dolphin tear a man to pieces like that, and on land to." He pulled out a cloth and cleaned his glasses, there were blood stains on them from all the carnage. "Well, looks like you have me for a few more hours, might as well head to where your going."

Confused at the boy's sudden anxiety, Ingrim turned just in time to see an archer ripped to shreds by a possessed-looking dolphin creature. He saw several dozen soldiers go down to the psychotic girl, managing to stumble a few safe metres away before setting the boy down hastily. Keeping an eye on the carnage a few yards off, Ingrim flipped the half-conscious boy over to tend the wound. "Not your lucky day at all, is it?" he muttered while he worked. "Oh, no.." Examining the wound, Ingrim discovered the arrow had pierced the kidney, and its sharply twisted barb caught it when he tugged.

The doctor twisted the shaft and tried pulling it out, and Rook spat out more blood as burning pain engulfed him. "Yeah, it's definitly not my lucky day. " A trickle of blood came out of the wound, signifying the loss of blood. "Am I going to die?" asked Rook. Soldiers came right up next to them, apparently having snuck up behind the +Anima. The doctor had a crossbow stuck right next to his face, while other soldiers threw nets across Rook, securing him and preventing him from fighting, as if he could. One of the men earlier that the wolf-girl had beaten up was there, and, not seeing Rook's wounds, kicked him as hard as he could in the solar plexis. Blood gushed out of Rook's mouth and wounds and he gave a whimper of pain. The man grinned and said, "Not so tough once all your friends are gone, eh? Once your healed up, you'll fetch a very large price, oh yes, indeed. Bat +Anima are very rare, and I believe you're the only one, with that power of yours. Take him away and get a doctor to treat him, or else he'll never survive those wounds." The soldiers roughly slung him on a stretcher as Rook raged at his helplessness. All this time I've been a burden on others, useless, unable to fight at all, taking extreme wounds too, and almost killing the good doctor who had helped him so much. Taking a good aim at the man, Rook let out a sonic screech so powerful, it blasted the brains out of a few soldiers standing by him. He had missed the man..and the view around him seemed to be darkening..so sleepy..he fell against the stretcher, unconcious for the fifth time that day.

"I think we don't need your nose to track him." said Hydrax, pointing at long blood trail leading away. "That makes me think if he is worth it, we might find just a dead body, look how much he had to bleed." she noticed.

[Midnightmoon]

"I meant to leave the trouble maker behind." Tateen mumbled under her breath. "Come on then. We better find the bat. Birdboy2 is that way too. In case you were wondering."

[Morty]

"You idiots! Can't you see the boy's injured?" yelled Ingrim, jumping to his feet, his steel-gloved fingers closing around the heavy metal staff. The archer holding the crossbow yelled. "Stay down, dottore! I don't want to shoot a doctor, but I will!"
"Oh my god, what's wrong with your foot?!" cried the doctor in horror.
"Wha-?" the archer looked down at his feet in surprize. Ingrim swung the staff around and caught the archer on the chin, then stabbed backwards as the other guard tried to apprehend him.
"Aargh!" Ingrim clutched his ears as a high-pitched sound rent the air. The guards' heads snapped back as if from whiplash, bodies hitting the floor with a thump. Ingrim stumbled a few paces over to the trussed-up boy, a scalpel already in his hand. He sliced the net and cords binding the unconscious Anima, though he wouldn't have been able to run anyways.
"Forgive me, but..."
Taking up the scalpel, Ingrim cut out the snagged kidney, arrow and all, and made sure the veins bled no further, binding up the deep wound as quickly as he could.
Ingrim eyed the dead soldiers whose brains now scattered the undergrowth. It was a pity so many had been killed in the boy's defence. But, Ingrim reason, they would have killed him, too, just for helping. He quickly cast his glance into the treetops with the crows, looking around for the other Anima.
"Help!" he called when he spied them, dragging Rook on the stetcher behind him as he ran.

"Help HOW? You are the doctor." whined Hydrax, handing over all of her healing balms and few herbs. "That will have to do. Only thing i can go more for him is to put him out of his misery." she said, shrugging.

Tateen ran up, not iffy at all about all the blood, saying as she came close, "Wonder what sort or stuff you did to cause all this mess. That boy has been though quit a lot today, and so have we thanks to him." Stopping Tateen kept her distance. "He going to live?"

Hydrax sighed: "If you really wanna know... the name is Hydrax Delphine. It all begun two years ago, when i become an anima. I do not remember how it happened, so it was probably really bad memory. So bad that i suffered really bad blow to the head - now i have two personalities, the other - Lycana - you just saw. unlike me, she does remember, and that makes her berserker. She goes after noting else but vengeance. fortunately it has to be really tough situation for her to show up, but if it happens again, try to remember your stomach and stay away." she warned Tateen, and remained silent.

[Morty]

((Oh, you only need 1 kidney, and they can be replaced. *U*))

"Thank you- I don't know, he's lost a terrible ammount of blood.." said Ingrim, wringing his hands. ((Oh, womanly Ingrim. <'D)) "Keep your salves and potions; I can always request more from the hospital, free of charge." pushed Hydrax's hand away. "I suppose you can already tell, but I think I must be one of these creatures you call Anima aswell." he said, raising his mask to just below his eye, but no further. A small marking like a raven in flight was emblazoned on his cheek. "I guess I was lucky; a small bout of plague when I was young, and what do you know." he shook his head and grinned, lowering the mask once more.
"Are you injured?" he asked suddenly, eyeing the copious ammounts of blood running down the two from behind the eerie bleached mask.

"Your asking us when he's bleeding in so may places and so bad that I won't be able to smell anything else for hours?" Tateen asked rhetorically. Sensing his gaze she added, "No, not on my end. This is mostly from the humans." Then she scowled at her arm- which was dripping with blood- in distaste. "Normally I'd clean myself up but I think I'll make a exception this time. I'll be back, I'm heading for the river."
