Here, quick! Have a picture (the first completed one with my new tablet, I might add) of Tara that may or may not have anything to do with Nohiki's birthday some time ago. Pfft, can't I give someone a totally random drawing?  And once again, I fail to understand the meaning of "quick sketch". Though, the background was done first and pretty quickly. What took me forever was finding a pose for Tara that both looked somewhat possible for a quadruped and put her face in the middle of the golden spiral I'd used as a compositional guide. Her arms are still a little too short, but oh wellI'llshutupnow. |

Thank you! Bam, Insta-Vincen! Er, I didn't quite manage to get his head or tail right, so he looks a little off, but it was fun to do!  The cel-shading came out a little too "soft" in some parts, I think. *abstractvaguely-forestybackground* |

As far as free programs go, paint.net is prolly the best. I hate GIMP, it's user interface is s**t >  My favorite is probably corel paint shop pro X, since it is the best program that can do both raster and vector graphics well enough. Too bad that X2 and newer primarily focus on photography  |
