Ignis was standing nearby and listening very carefully. "At least a day. Either way, Indigo better be ready. She says they might bring their best, so i'll do my part and get them out of here if the situation looks bad, but for obvious reasons the long way transport i can't do." she whispered to her bracelet while sneaking back to her room. Then she listened for a while. "I'll do what i can about their dragons but they're kinda huge if you haven't noticed!... Ma'am." she said and hid in a corner, avoiding a passing guard. "Fine." she barked back and ended the transmission, going back to her room, unwrapping a roll of paper. she started drawing a plan of the base and surroundings on it. Then she tried to remember the composition of ground under the place and drawn something on the map. "It will have to do." she said, picked up something from her toolkit and went to the most uninhabited and abandoned part of the base, setting there something up.

Maela lifted the limp form of a fire clan elf onto Athvesa's back, fastening her carefully to the saddle. "That reminds me," she said, pulling the straps tighter. "I want to have a chance to speak with Pyhrros and his dragon before we up the dosage again." Despite her casual tone, Athvesa glared at her while he helped two other dragons tether an unconscious earth dragon. Maela slung herself into the saddle, and, and the company took to the now-dark skies, heading back to the security of the great fortress of Janahal.

Vera nodded curtly and swung onto her own bond's back, making sure their prisoners were safely tied on. Absalom flapped powerfully into the sky and off in the opposite direction, towards the former rebel base. The day was long gone when they arrived, alighting on the spit of rock that jutted out from the minaret-like tower structure. "Put Kotorov in the dungeon, would you, Absalom? Make sure he can't get out." instructed Vera as she hauled Lysam to one corner of the room and shackled him to a wall spike, using a pair of ball-like silver manacles. She went over to the plinth where the scrying crystal stood, hidden under a canvas sheet. "If comrade Lysam doesn't talk, I'm sure there are others that will." she said to herself, clacking her clawlike fingers together with relish.

(OOC:filler post)
Pyrhos was on a bed, as far as he could tell. He flopped his arm over his closed eyes. After a few minutes of laying there like that, gathering his senses, he dragged his arm bag down and rubbed his rough fingers over his eye lids. His thoughts were a bit muddled, and his memories a bit fuzzy. Pyrhos let out a slow breath that was part groan. His physical self also felt muddled and stiff. Sitting up slowly he put both hands to his face. Opening his eyes he viewed the far wall, at the gray blank stone. Looking around to get a better idea at where he was Pyhros stretched out his arms and arched his back a bit. He summarize that he must not have moved much in a few days considering the ache he received. Finishing the stretch he looked down at his hands, which looked funny in the dim light. Pyhros dismissed the abnormality, setting setting his sights back on the room. It was very bland and small. All that was in it was the blankets he slept on, a shelf in the wall beside a small mirror, and a pile of dark clothes and boots by the black that was the iron door.
Pyrhos finally got up, and explored area. All of it was stone and it didn't seem like there were any other way out other then the door. Going over to the clothes he picked up tunic from the pile. there was also a undershirt, breaches, belt and the boots. All the cloth was a dark gray that was nearly black in varying shades. Finally he went over to the mirror, dropping the piece of clothing on the way. Reaching over to touch the small cluster of crystals to the side, they lit up, and he saw why he felt so different. in the pale white light he saw a gaping self with dark gray skin and black hair. There was no mistaking it. They had done it, they had converted him. He, was Dark Clan.

Once they were in the air, Maela gave a sigh, her eyes closed. "Today didn't exactly turn out as expected." "You can say that again," Athvesa snorted. "We came expecting an army, and never even fought." The elf on the front saddle stirred slightly, mumbling something unintelligible. Maela regarded her a moment, and then decided that she had lapsed safely back into unconsciousness. A delicate smile crept across the demoness' lips. "At least we soon should be able to dig them out before they can find a new hiding place." Athvesa didn't respond, but his bond felt a satisfied grin pass across his face.
------
They flew for some time in silence, the only sounds the whistling of air and the beating of scaled wings. Maela's weariness was catching up with her, and several times she dozed briefly, her wings wrapped around her body for warmth. When Athvesa came to a stop in the darkened courtyard, Maela roused herself and dismounted, her footsteps loud on the uneven tiles. After an exchange with two pairs of commanders, Athvesa and Maela made their way through the wide hallways, the light crystals flaring and extinguishing as they passed. In one of the lowest corridors in the complex, Maela paused before a black iron door, bolted from the outside. Athvesa obligingly raised his fist to the metal surface and hammered, the sound reverberating through the stone passage. Maela slid the bar back with a grating noise and then stepped back, waiting expectantly.

Pyhros was sitting back on the bed when the knock came followed by a grating sound which he assumed to be the bar on the other side. The door remained closed though, so Pyhros assumed that he was suppose to open it himself and exit the room. If didn't oblige he didn't think for a moment that they would just re-bar the door and leave. Newly orange eyes watched warrily watched the door as he got up and opened it inwardly. Seeing who was on the other side he smiled a tight grim smile and said, opening his arms a bit, palms out, "Happy?"

Maela crossed her arms and grinned. "It's quite the improvement. May we come in?"

Pyrhos snorted quietly. "Don't know why you even ask." He was still wearing the clothes he had on when they caught him. He was contemplating putting on the clothes that were in the room when the Dark Clan member who drugged him came knocking.

"It's common courtesy," Maela explained as she stepped over the threshold. "You're not a prisoner anymore." She glanced at the iron door. "In some ways, at least." They finished the conversion sooner than I had expected, she remarked to Athvesa. It appears that he needs a trial run before it takes full effect, though. She made her way across the room and leaned against the wall beside the shelf, recrossing her arms. "Athvesa, do you think you could go find Saratheen? It's all right for the two to be reunited now." He nodded and withdrew, the door swinging partially closed. The demoness turned her black-eyed gaze back to Pyhrros. "When he gets back, we'll have to relocate. There's scarcely enough room for one dragon in here, let alone two. You need the opportunity to learn the passages down here, anyways." Maela motioned for him to sit down. "In the meantime, though, I just want to talk to you. I promise you, I'm truly not trying to pry out any information this time."

Pyhros perked up at his dragon bonds name. In his contemplating (and to his personal disappointment) mopping he hadn't really thought of Saratheen. Looking in himself now he could feal something that could be her but it was completely different. He pulled his attention back to the female elf. When she indicated he was to sit he didn't move. The last time he was sitting in her presence he got converted. He noticed his hands were clenching and uncletching so he crossed his arms stiffly. "I'll have to decline. I've been sitting or laying about for quite a bit already." He said, adding the last comment quickly as to try and not provoke her.

Absalom was preening his feathers in the sunlight of the takeoff ledge. Vera dusted her hands and sat down with her back to his flank. "Do you know what day it is today, Absalom?" she asked as he placed his scaly head on her shoulder. "It's the anniversary of our death. One hundred years under the Sun." he said nostalgically, thinking of things only half-remembered. "Yes." said Vera, after a moment, "That, and the day the rebel clan meets its end." "Ah, so our old friend has finally talked, has he?" Vera nodded. "I have dispatched the sluagh to inform the dark clan leaders. I wouldn't be surprised if the Master attended the battle himself." "And us?" asked Absalom. "We were never there." said Vera astutely . Absalom chuckled. "Like a trick of the light."

(OOC:Yes this is a filler post and it did just occur to me that all my characters were in the same place. so enjoy this mindless talk.)
"You're in here for internal bleeding?" Sid asked Targus who was in the bed next to him. "I know, i wish i could get them to let me out, but they wont listen to me." Targus replied hitting his bed. "Well you got to admit, they don't usually put you in here unless its serious." "Says the guy who got shot by arrows that missed all his vitals." "Hey don't blame me, they don't want anyone out unless they're at their best or its an emergency. Plus," Sid looked around. "We get unlimited to access to the food." Targus almost jumped up. "Say wha?" Sid nodded. "Just right that bell, tell them what you want, and they bring it. Only problem is you can't have alcohol." Targus sighed. "Well there goes dinner." "And breakfast." "Look just because i had rum pancakes once doesn't mean i have them all the time. And you do have to admit they were damn good." "yeah but the rest of the day wasn't." Targus and Sid laughed. "Ah good times."

Ignis finished in the abandonned sector. "One tonne of fireworks in gems and fireworks." she said, laying down the ignition cord. When she was closing to the inhabited part, she cut it and marked the end. Then she went to find agate. "Peekaboo!" she said, droping from the ceiling over him. "Straight to the matter. A) Not a word about morning. I DON'T wanna know." she said, frowning, "And second:" she went to whisper, "Aquariah initially told me that i should protect Your riders, and that lead me to think you're... Expandable. So if this base happen to go to hell, i've set up something more than huge distraction. You'll have to burrow your and Firen's @$$ behind the mountain the tunnels are in, because they get too small for you in the farther section. From there Aquariah is in charge." She started walking away. "Just to let you know. See ya." she said with a normal voice and headed for the bar to get some water.

Agate just sat there not saying anything waiting for her to leave, then turned to an empty hall. "She's gone." Maruk came out from a corner. "Well now that thats over with, lets get back to what i was saying." Agate scratched his head. "So let me get this straight, you have a plan that would ultimately stop the entire demon army long enough for us to escape?" Maruk nodded. "The only problem is that we need one more dragon to accomplish this task, an air one to be precise." "So what would this plan be?" "I noticed a storm passing by the other day, its not close enough to do anything. But if we could get it to blow over here, i could control the rain to fall in a certain area." "And you need me why?" "While the wind and lightning from the storm stop the demons from flying, they could still walk. The area i lead the rain will need to be clear of all rocks and plants. This will leave only dirt, mixed with water will cause such thick mud no one could get by." Agate thought about it for a second then smiled. "Lets go find an air dragon." "Very good. Oh by the way. what did ignis mean by 'what happened last night'?" "Long story."

"Ice cream's up!" shouted Jack, sliding down the dungeon stairs on a rectangular tub of ice cream. He zoomed around a corner and smacked straight into Lulu's sleeping nose. She snorted and shook herself awake. Jack grinned nervously as Lulu rose to her feet, looming over him. "You know not to wake me up when I'm dreaming about dogs. Didn't I tell you not to wake me up when I'm dreaming about dogs?" she growled. "I got... ice cream..." he said sheepishly, pointing at his makeshift toboggan. "Oh. Good." She rubbed her nose, relenting. As Lulu and Jack dug in, Jack waved over to where Saratheen was imprisoned. "Are you reeeaaallyyyy suuuuuuure you don't want some? It's hazelnut!" ((Randomness! ))
