Athvesa wheeled alongside Leucrocuta, pulling even with a simple stroking motion. "Rather regrettably, performance was considerably worse than we'd anticipated. We only lost a few though, and to the very warriors who have stood against the Master himself," Athvesa reported with a meaningful glance over his shoulder at Saratheen. The light of the rising sun spread across the mountains, glinting faintly off of the scales of the dragons in the raiding party. Maela squinted, turning her head away from the light. She gathered up her hair in one hand as she flicked the concealing hood back over her face to shield her sensitive eyes from the intrusive light. Athvesa banked, swooping around the spires of Janahal, the formidable city looking even more impenetrable by day. Apparently not, Athvesa thought with a shrug. "Southern laboratories," Maela whispered as the ice dragon peeled off from the group. "Make sure the fire dragoness stays close." "Got it." Athvesa tucked one wing in, pulling into a spiraling dive just above the southern courtyard. He flared his wings to even out as he pulled into a shallower descent several hundred meters above the ground, coming to a delicate stop on the polished stones. The ice dragon retreated several steps to make room for the incoming Saratheen as Maela dismounted, gesturing to a cluster of turned elves standing nearby.

"We lost some?" asked Jack, surprised. His face fell. "Oh." Leucrocuta sailed the narrow courtyard and instead ground to a halt on the runway leading from the gate. She wasn't one for precision landing. She and Jack passed under the arch of the portcullis and into the courtyard, Jack skipping ahead to examine Saratheen. "What would you rank the quality of this one's scales at, Lulu?" he asked, cocking his head like a bird. Lulu followed at a slower pace. "Hmm, we've been flying through dust for the past forty minutes so I would say a 2 on the lustre. I bet they would be very tough, though." she said, sitting down heavily by the fountain. "Fire dragons are notoriously tough." she added with a frown. "Not a bad catch though, isn't it!" "Too easy!" "I wish we'd been able to help capture them." "Maybe next time." "Oh, can we help with the experimentation, General?" asked Jack hopefully, turning to Maela. "Jaaack, since when are you a qualified medic?" "Since when does information extraction involve medicine!" "Touché." conceded Lulu, closing her eyes and resting her head on her claws, enjoying the sun. ((Adahjfhsd they're so random, don't mind them. ))

Saratheen ignored the idiot dark pair instead dividing her attention between taking a look at her surroundings, keeping a eye on Pyrhos's mental vital signs, and glaring at the pair that trapped them.

"Actually, she's not the one the Master wants," Maela said, waving a hand at Saratheen. "We just need her alive for her bond. Feel free to experiment on her as much as you want." A turned-elf servant offered the demoness a small parcel wrapped in black cloth. She picked it up delicately between her forefinger and thumb, then tossed it at Jack. "There's a vial in there. Just make sure you administer the liquid before noon today, all right?" Athvesa had already started through the dragon-sized archway that opened onto the stairways of the lower complex. "It's all up to you whether she needs a muzzle or not!" Maela called cheerily as she ran after her bond.

Jack and Lulu grinned wolfishly at eachother, then at Saratheen. Jack cracked his knuckles as both he and Lulu began to laugh in unison. (("Heheheh.... Ahahhahahha. BWAHAHAAHAHHAHHAHAA." Now imagine lightening striking overhead. XD))
Moments later they had somehow made it to the dungeon. Lulu made sure to obscure the bound Saratheen's view as Jack fiddled with the lock on a compartment at the other end of the room. "Having trouble back there, Doctor Mephistopheles?" Lulu piped up, keeping her eyes on the fire dragoness. "No no, Doctor Faust. Bingo!." said Jack from behind Lulu's bulky frame, the sound of the lock clicking opening and clattering to the floor. A chill breeze blew through the chamber as the door creaked open. "What are you doing back there, Mephistopheles?" asked Lulu, her skin prickling at the cold. "Oh, nothing, Faust, just...." The sound of something scraping against the cobblestones emitted from behind the earth dragoness. A large vat slid into view. Jack placed his boot on it victoriously. "ICE CREAM." ((DUN DUN DUUUUUN.))
"....Ice cream." said Lulu after a long time. "Ice cream." repeated Jack solemly. Lulu's face contorted. "IT'S. F*CKING. BRILLIANT." she said, staring at the frosty steel vat. "I know right?" Jack cried. "It will be pure torture for a fire dragon to eat ice cream!" "You are a genius, Doctor Mephistopheles!" "We make a good team, don't we, Doctor Faust?" Jack and Lulu high fived, grinning from ear to ear. Lulu popped open the lid of the vat with one claw. "Eat up, princess." she said, pushing the vat towards the fire dragoness.

(OOC: how are they now miraculasly in the dongeon?)
Saratheen snorted. "You do know that it would take quite a bit more then a bit of chilled cream to freeze a fire dragons flame right? And second off I am not willingly eating anything you give me. And before you say anything about my rider you'll be not happy to know that that won't work. We've evaded you for so long that we know you want us around and even if you were going to kill us then you'd do it eventually. What's a few days sooner?"

((Don't ask yourself these things. )) Jack and Lulu glanced at eachother, their faces fell simultaneously. Lulu bent so Jack could whisper in her ear. She nodded along, her grin gradually returning. "Well, if you don't want to eat this delicious, frosty ice cream." sighed Lulu sadly. "We'll just have to eat it ourselves." finished Jack, fishing two spoons from behind his back, handing one to Lulu. "Can't let it go to waste." "It's such a hot day today, isn't it?" (Jack failed to notice they were several hundred feet below the ground.) Lulu edged her human-sized spoon towards the vat tauntingly.

"Idiots" "Well they must keep them around for something." Pyhros responded, Saratheen sighed in frustration, her tail twitching and paws needing the stone floor, itching to whip their grinning faces off.

"Welcome to your new temporary residence!" Athvesa announced grandly, shoving the laboratory door open with his shoulder. "This place is all you'll be seeing for a little while," Maela explained, unfastening the primary straps that secured Pyhrros to the saddle. Her teeth gritting with the obvious effort, she pushed the elf's still-limp body into the chair at the other end of the room and steadied him with one arm as she reached over the back of the seat for one of the attached chains. "These are for when the toxin wears off. They're rather resistant to heat, actually. Quite an ingenious use of minerals on the Earth Clan's part," Athvesa said with a grin as Maela pulled another chain across Pyhrros' chest, connecting it with the link behind the high-backed chair. "That should do," she said, pulling a stool over from one of the laboratory tables and perching just in front of the captive fire elf. "By my estimate, we have about half an hour before you regain complete control of your motions, maybe a little less. I'm not going to move from this spot until then. "Then we talk."

"Beh'er noh get compherble. Dont know what ther 's to talk about. Heh." Pyhros said with a slur. Phyros stiffly tilted his head slowly to get a look around seeing as he had nothing else to do.

Jack and Lulu glanced at eachother, then proceeded to scarf down the ice cream. "Sure you don't want any?" asked Jack, spoon sticking out the side of his mouth. Lulu licked a dab of ice cream from her nose. "My, my, it's almost noon." he said, looking at an imaginary wristwatch. "Better get on with administering this stuff." he said, taking the vial Maela had given them out of his pocket. Jack and Lulu seemed to confer mentally for a moment, before Lulu went over to the nearby desk, picking out a large, bloodstained volume. She held it delicately in her oversized paw. "Jack, could you bring that reading glass over there?" she asked. Jack ducked into the storage unit and wheeled out a table-sized monocle on a brass stand. Lulu lowered her head and peered through the dusty glass lens, poring over the volume. "It says here the medicine can be administered either orally or intraveinously, though orally naturally takes a bit longer." "Intraveinsouly it is, then." cackled Jack, brandishing a syringe. "However, seeing as this one's scales are quite thick, we may have a little trouble finding a vein." "Aaw. What about in the gums?" "No way in hell am I sticking my hand down someone's throat." said Lulu, shuddering. "Eurgh." "Never thought you'd be a squeamish one, Lulu. All those people you've disemboweled were a lie?" chided Jack, sounding betrayed. "It's the needles I'm not fond of." "Oh well, she said she wouldn't accept any food we gave her, so it's gonna have to be an injection." sighed Jack, pulling on a pair of ungainly fireproof gloves. "I hope you'll stay still for this, fire dragon, wouldn't want to miss the vein!" he laughed.

Saratheen watched the two with distaste out of the corner of her eye. When the ways of administrating the drug they intended to use were voiced her head dropped to the floor with a thwack (OOC: dragon version of facepalm/ facedesk). Lifting her head again she only raised it half as high. "How do they stand you two idiots?"
(OOC: you know saratheens scales aren't unbroken, remember she had a bunch of wounds before the battle and probably gained a few more since then. you could just puncture a freshly scabbed/ raw wound. that should work.)

((Lawly, but wouldn't the medicine just seep out along with the blood?))
"Don't question our methods!" said Jack, waving the syringe at her. "You're in no position to be insulting us, either, you know." said Lulu, frowning and closing the book. Jack tapped the air out of the needle absentmindedly, wondering what to do next. "...Maybe you should sit on her legs or something." he suggested, looking at the shackled dragoness. "I'd be more worried about her teeth. Hang on, I think there's some dentist equipment in the old chamber..." Leucrocuta trundled off. Jack sat down cross-legged on the cobbled floor. "Say, why did Maela bring you and that elf chap back if we weren't supposed to take prisoners?" he asked.

Saratheen watched after the other dragon but turned her attention back to the elf as he spoke. With a dry snicker she said, "Guess the Master doesn't wanting it to be known that we got the drop on him."
