"Whatever." barked Ignis, pointing them further into the cave. "Go and don't stop. Indigo is waiting on the other side. She'll take you to safe place where you'll rendezvous with the others. Then you..." she stopped, as something warped in few dozesn of meters behind her. "GO!!!!" she yelled and pushed Targus out, tossing the ungrowing gem into the tunnel wall. In few seconds, the tunnel closed between her and the escapees. She turned around and incinerated few demons, but recieved a tranquilizer shot a moment later. She fell on her knees, feeling the poison knocking her out. "I am Reginleif, a valkyrie of Odin. I will be reborn in ways uncertain, but you are NOT converting ME. See you in Valhalla!" she said to the demon leader and her last gem fell out of her hand as she was falling into coma, vaporizing the tunnel with everyone inside.
OOC: Finally that's over

As Zetherus followed behind the group. He saw the dragon that was digging bust a hole in some kind of underground fortress. With curiosity he ran up behind the group unnoticed to get a closer look and saw a sudden disturbance happen in the room. The room suddenly got closed off from some kind of crystal that one of the others threw making the cave separate the lone warrior from the rest of the group. Once the room and the fire warrior in it could not be seen no more Zetherus heard a explosion occur behind the crystal then silence fell after.
Zetherus could feel his spines on his back stand up as he thought that the group would look back at the way they came and see him standing in the exit. The thoughts that were racing threw his mind made him think that the group might be hostile against him so he quickly grabbed the hilt of his sword as it still rested in it's sheath waiting.

Amber jab one of her hands it to her head, silently beating herself up. She went and froze up, that wasn't good at all. Then Ignis yelled something and Amber pulled her attention back. Of course by that time the new wall was growing and sealed with a clunk. The sound was followed by a explosion and and whole area shook with a sprinkle of dust and pebbles before settling again. "And there goes another." Amber thought bitterly "I've found Agate and we're heading to the rendezvous point. You better be there before I am." Firen thought to her. So Amber gathered her bow quickly and ran down the tunel

Zetherus saw one of the humanoids run at him with her bow drawn making an attack imminent from his view. With hesitation he lifted the Castle Blade handle in his left hand at the archer and unsheathed Ragnarok from its scabbard. He casted the Ragnarok blade in fire making the tunnel suddenly brighter with the light of the sword.
Zetherus spoke in a loud voice to get the archer's attention ,"STOP! I'm not an enemy. If you get any closer or aim your bow I will strike." The blade of Ragnarok then erupted in a funnel of fire as if he was going to unleash a wave of fire, if there wasn't a response.

(ooc: sorry forgot about you. ' .) Amber stiffened at the eruption of fire. "Whoever you are you better get out of here. This place is being overrun and it's only a matter of time before the enemy comes though. In any case your in the way." Amber swapped her bow to her other hand to make sure it was free to reach for her blade if necessary and kept going down the excape root.

Zetherus died down the flame on his sword until it was dark again. He sheathed the orange glowing sword and stepped out of the way of the archer. He looked at the archer then followed behind silently because the way he wanted to go was sealed. As he was following behind he could feel a slight tremor through the tunnels as if a small army was heading toward them.
Zetherus kept his guard up in case of a demon solder jumped out.

(OOC: maybe i should have replied to Nohi earlier...NAH.)
Ignis pushed Targus away but he wasn't ready for it and fell to the ground. "Hey, what is your proble-" The wall came up blocking them from her, then he heard an explosion. "IGNIS!" He got up and pounded on the wall. "IGNIS! ARE YOU THERE! IGNIS!" "Come on!" Sid grabbed Targus and pulled him from the wall. "We have to get out of here!" He pulled Targus farther from the wall until he finally gave up fighting. "So this is it huh? This is how it all ends, with us running while everyone who helped us is left to die?" Targus said clenching his fist. "If we had another choice, we'd take it, but right now we have to run or the last hope to avenge everyone is gone." Sid explained. Targus sat there for a while then finally said. "Fine, lets go."

Maela pulled back just in time. She dropped to one knee and folded an arm across her face to shield herself from the resulting blast. Pebbles pinged off her armor, and when she stood, a haze of dust billowed around the tunnel. Or, rather, where the tunnel had been. "Athvesa?" she called, picking up her weapon. Either the rebels just blew themselves up for us, or some of them got away. It doesn't matter much anymore. Their base is gone, their forces diminished and scattered. It's our victory, he assured fiercely. Athvesa burst into the area, a frigid mass of black and blue scales. Gashes of white marred his scales where the illusion had been torn away. He spotted Maela and lowered his neck to her level. "Nothing broken, I hope?" "Nothing of mine." She clambered over his spine and slid into the saddle. "Though this wasn't nearly as fun as I'd hoped." The demoness swiveled, facing the direction of the tunnel. "You hear that, stupid dead-dragon lady? You took up all my time, and now we're gonna lose a bet with the captains. Congratulations. Hope you're happy now!" Maela crossed her arms and sunk back into the saddle. "Now you're just being immature. And besides, you didn't actually make any bet." Athvesa galloped onto the open battlefield and took to the air. "Never gonna win with seven rebels, though. Do you think we can get the numbers from the dam collapse?" "Give it up, Maela."

The fight was actually starting to wind down, opposite to Pyhros's assumption. So since his idiotic commanders were no where to be seen he decided to wander the newly acquired base. Of course the sweeps for concealed traps had yet to commence so Pyhros had his blade loose in it's sheath. Saratheen shadowed him as he stalked through the passageways. Passing another soldier every once and a while. Then something made him pause right outside a specific door. "You wait here, I'll be right back." He said to Saratheen. She snorted quietly in confirmation and so he entered. Decorations or anything to make the room personalized was next to non-existent. Looking at the disheveled bed he saw a shirt that was just coming unfolded, as if it was just thrown there. Yet he could see the familiar technique. Jenifer always did it to his cloths. And in the corner was his sword. Taking it up he lifted the cross guard towards him and with a wicked smile melted the flame emblem as he did with the dagger.

Indigo picked up her passengers on the other side of the tunnel and sealed the rest of it. Then she took them to the base of the black ops, a place ran by two friends. The undercity of Giza. At the same time, a gust of wind spread through the battlefield, carrying the smell of decomposing flesh and blood. But if you listened, it made a sound, almost like a speech. It seemed to say only one thing. "damn right i am."

The Mountain Range Resistance was no more, the few remaining members scattered, absorbed into the dwindling ranks of other rebel bases. The rest were lost on the battlefeild. The Dark Clans dominance of the land was becoming stronger, their numbers increase faster than any harrying assult the other elements could dish up. Any and all resistance was dwindling. It would seem like it wouldn't be long till the end, and there would appear to be no other outcome then the tide of black.
~THE END....
