Battle Training

[Kauria]

"That sounds interesting. Maybe I'll come with you," Shya said, regarding Starlight out of the corner of one orange eye with a smile. "Personally, now that I've finished my training, I'd like to have a proper adventure. I know that a lot of the survivors of the war have had more than enough excitement for an entire lifetime, but I only feel as if I've only just discovered the rest of the world. There are so many things I want to do." She returned her gaze to the sky. "I'm thinking of returning to the lands of the Ashed Ones. It's almost the time of year for the phoenixes to return to the Forest of Flames. I've never seen one, actually, but I've always wanted to."

[Midnightmoon]

"Well we are dragons, we have years to explore." Starlight responded. "So you don't want to hang around?" Now looking searchingly back at Shya.

[Kauria]

"Not now, although I'm probably going to be returning to the camp in a week or so anyways." She winked. "You know, I haven't been home since the war started. Hard to believe that it's only been such a short time."

[Midnightmoon]

"Well if that's the case i could go tell Zarin we're leaving and we could leave now?"

[Kauria]

"Sounds like a plan." Shya grinned and lifted her wings, pushing off with her powerful hind legs.

[Midnightmoon]

"I'll see you in a bit then." (OOC: for simplicities sake and the fact I want to close this thread I'm just assuming Starlight talked to Zarin, if anyone wants this changed just say so.) Starlight, coming back from telling Zarin they were leaving, flew around Shya to hover at her side. "I've already been on a few adventures, so for the first round is yours. Where shall we fly?"

[Kauria]

Shya cocked her head in thought. "I actually have no idea anymore," she said after a moment, almost laughing at her own indecision. "It all sounds so great. Where do you think would be a good place to seek an adventure?"

[Midnightmoon]

"Didn't you want to see those birds. Come on, I have no idea where we're going." Starlight said with a roll of laughing eyes.

[Kauria]

"All right, all right," Shya laughed. "To the Forest of Flames." She dipped her wing, drawing closer. "It's not actually on fire . . . most of the time." The fire dragoness grinned and rolled away with another joyous laugh, powering higher into the sky. "You know the way to the hot springs, right? Once we get there, just follow me."

[Midnightmoon]

"I'll beet you there then." Starlight cried out and dived past in a blue blur, the last words a murmur on the breeze.

[Kauria]

"Not this time, missy," Shya roared, stroking harder into the wind.

[Midnightmoon]

(Don't know. I guess so.
It'd be sort of nice if we could rustle up some other characters from this timeline before continuing, though.)

Scourge and Thoron stood beside each other as they saw everyone freeze then dissipate into white ash. As they stood waiting for something to happen they turned around to look at this massive black wall. The wall breathed at a slow pulse as it then began to move toward them. Scourge turned at Thoron then spoke ,"This isn't good, Thoron don't move." Thoron unleashed the Gauntlet of Armageddon as he blankly stared at the moving wall coming toward him ",Why, what is this thing Scourge?" Spoke Thoron as Scourge grabbed the Core of Destruction's rigged handle and pulled it off of his back then laid it's shaft on his shoulder and responded ,"That wall is the doing of your grandfather. You should of known that son of Armageddon, it seams that he wants us somewhere else then here. Brace yourself Thoron for he doesn't rip us from one reality to shove us into another for no reason."

Scourge and Thoron stood ready for the wall to come and claim them. As the wall glided over them darkness ran into them like water bringing them to a dark area that looked as if it had no end. Thoron was knocked over when he arose in this dark realm and Scourge with his glowing red eyes and parts of his armor the only thing to be seen right now. Thoron got up from the ground and focused his power to his gauntlet to ignite the symbols on his arm for light. Scourge lifted his mace into the air and forced his energy into the jagged head of his mace forming a fireball around it giving light to see also. As they both walked through the darkness they both saw a throne of great size. The throne had a figure in it, a massive one. The scale of the creature was unimaginable for Scourge and Thoron walked for a long time not even getting close to it but it looked like as if it were right there. Thoron turned his head slightly to the right so he could face Scourge and the creature far ahead of them ,"Scourge, where the hell are we? My gauntlet won't absorb back into my body and the power I feel in this realm is not allowing the gauntlet to hurt me like it did on Dragonessence?" Scourge responded to Thoron's question and spoke ,"We are within the caverns of Mt. Armageddon on the world of Armouruss, your home world Thoron, the home of your entire family. That up ahead is your grandfather Saxtus the creator of life and ender of time."

Thoron looked at Scourge with surprise then he felt something in the humming air as the figure's eyes bursts in gray blue fire and arose from the throne. Saxtus lifted his right foot forward to start walking but as he planted his massive foot in the ground. The cavern mountains inside caused a quake that moved the ground.

Saxtus took a few more steps to get closer then spoke in a deafening growl ,"THORONDAR MY GRANDSON, LONG THAT I WAITED TO FIND YOU AND NOW I HAVE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF ARMAGEDDON TO HAVE YOU BORN. MY DAUGHTER, AZIAYA, GAVE BIRTH TO YOU TO SAVE MY EXISTENCE AND TO GET RID OF ALL THE VERMIN THAT I CAN'T TOUCH WITHIN THEIR OWN REALMS. I HAVE TURNED YOU INTO THE LAST BEST HOPE AGAINST MY BROTHER VOID. LONG HE HAS WAITED TO OVERTHROW ME AND TURN EVERYTHING INTO HIS OWN IMAGE, IF HE SUCCEEDS ALL THAT YOU KNOW WILL VANISH INTO NOTHING. YOU CAN'T KILL HIM BUT YOU CAN SEND HIM BACK TO THE VOID WITH THAT GAUNTLET. DO THIS MY CHILD AND YOU WILL BE THE SAVIOR OF MANNY LIVES INCLUDING SCOURGE'S. YOU WILL BE PORTED TO A WORLD KNOWN AS VALENCE. THIS WORLD WAS RULED BE A HUMANOID RACE OF GREAT INTELLIGENCE KNOWN AS THE Anero'nolmi. THERE DESTRUCTION WAS LEAD BY DARKNESS' ARMY THE Vok, AND THE Vok IS WINNING THE WAR. YOU AND SCOURGE WILL BE AIDED BY MY MINIONS TO STOP THIS CONFLICT. GO THORONDAR AND TAKE CARE OF THIS WAR OR I WILL COME ONCE MORE AND END THIS MYSELF. I WILL BRING ENDING TO ALL THAT LIVES ON VALENCE IF IT IS OVERRUN."

A wall of light appeared behind Thoron and Scourge then it began rushing toward them ,"Wait Saxtus, why do you need me to fight your war, you have chosen a fate that I did not WANT, SAXXTUUSS WAAAIIITT."

Before Thoron could learn about the true mother of his birth he was engulfed in a white flame throwing him and Scourge in a free fall above Valence.
