A Dragon is Born

Sol'Lux looked up to the hatchling with pride. Then she felt sorry for her own children as she wasn't around to have these moments with them. Her smile vanished into sad frown.

a couple more uneventful weeks pass and now saphira has quadrupled in sive and is now very muscular.

"so are we going to go see that other dragon yet?"saphira asked sol'ux.

OOC: The problem is that it's Midnight's character and Midnight can't be around too much We go that way and we get stuck.

Sol'Lux returned from the Fire Fortress. "Good news. My daughter cooked yp a plan to get rid of the wizards that i have good faith in, so we should be able to go north. But it will take a week at least. Meanwhile, how are you progressing with your magic? Everything under control and nothing out of the ordinary?"

"nope nothins wrong."

ooc:could u send midnight a email about needing them in the rp.

OOC: The problem is a branch growing in front of her internet antenna, not lack of time. And even if, people have lives.

Sol'Lux laughed. "Then prehaps you will care to show me what you can do?" she suggested, "You fish very well, but you'll need to survive inland too. We're going hunting, and we'll hunt something that can fight back." she said, handing her a leather bag, pre-equipped with basic stuff like flint, knives and a few other tools that could be used to survive in nature. "You've done well with targets, now let's see how well you aim. Be ready to leave next morning, the prey is waiting." she smiled and went to pack her own stuff.

ooc:oh ok yeah i hate it when that happens its so stupid.

"ok!"saphira said as she bounded off excitedly.
the next day...

"Ok i'm ready to go!" saphira stated.

"Atta girl!" said Sol'Lux and swung her arm forward. She took off right away. "Now remember to stay downwind, or else the prey will notice you miles away. Attack from where they won't expect you. Birds and predators from above the air, deerlike from the trees and don't bother with rabbits and other small stuff, it just ain't worth it." she said as they arrived over the forest. "And finally, use your element powers to your advantage. Ice spears, walls, heavy rain, whatever you feel will serve your cause best. We'll meet here in half an hour. Good hunt." she gave a hint and dived lower to follow her own prey. Then she made herself invisible and followed Saphira. She didn't doubt the young one, but she wanted to be sure just in case she ran into a pack of flits or other stuff that might overwhelm her.

saphira listened and went along her own way to hunt. as she was flying she smelled an animal she hadent smellt before so she followed it to a grassy plain and found thesse huge lumbering beasts with hoves and long shaggy brown hair.she decided to try and hunt one so she went downwind of the herd and picked the weakest one,an elderly one, and stalked it. a couple minutes later she was carrying the animal back to the metting spot and set it down then went along hunting again.
then meet sol'ux back there.

"Good job." said Sol'Lux when they added up their gathered food. "Do you feel like hunting for sport? I've found a cave lion nearby. It's like a direwolf to normal wolf, bigger and meaner, approximately half of your size, and they are a pest, disrupting the foodchains of the ecosystem. You wanna try?" she said, "They are agile so you can try what that telekinesis of yours can do."

"sure lets go."

Sol'Lux led them to the cave and lured the lion out. "Remember to keep your distance, it's feline and thus very fast and agile. Attacking from air is the safest bet but i'll leave it up to you. And don't be afraid, i'm on guard." she ensured.
