Vorun uttered a snarl that became a sigh of exasperation, snatching his tail back from Luna's mouth as she spoke. "And now neither of us will. I'm out of mana now, thanks to your little stunt, and you haven't exactly done anything to earn my magnanimity this past day." he growled, sorely annoyed. "Follow me, then. And don't lag behind. I'm not sure what will happen if you don't keep up with me, but I'm guessing it's not pleasant." said Vorun, and with that he began to drift back towards the ice fortress, slipping past the giant arachnid, its screams echoing above them as if muffled by a layer of water.

luna sighed and followed vorun she figured since he was complaining about mana she might as well give him some of hers.(yes that is something she can do with the mind and she can take it but only in dire circumstances she doesn't fell right taking another persons mana. but she feels by giving them mana sort of makes up for the mind reading XD ) after the transfer she felt exhausted like always but she still trudged on hoping to the dragon god that he wouldn't figure out that she had done what most dragons thought impossible although it was very likely he would notice the shift in power.

Vorun twitched, the sensation of energy returning to his tired limbs unexpected. That's weird, you aren't supposed to be able to regenerate energy in the shadow nexus... he thought, then he looked at Luna. She seemed a little paler than before. "Thanks." he uttered, mildly surprised. At least now tonight wouldn't be a total loss; he'd be able to keep going now, though he may have to plot a new course. "I'll take you back to the ice fortress, then you can go back to whatever it is you were doing." he said, bad mood fading with the anticipation of being able to continue his journey. "Up you go." he motioned when they had sailed to the edge of the ice fortress's luminous halo, just a few hundred paces from of the entrance. He didn't dare go further. Luckily darkness had settled over the plain deep enough for them to pass beneath the spider unnoticed. "And might I suggest you think twice before following strangers into dark passageways?" he added disapprovingly.

"goodbye" she said her eyes already starting to droop she tried to stifle a yawn unsuccesfully and just decided to sleep where she was. she fell asleep instantly floating above the ice a couple inches.

Covered in wounds and dismay, one of the seven dark dragons ran and pounced on to Thoron's back clawing and biting. At this moment the black dragon didn't care about them trying to vanquish him, trying to defeat him. The giant rose his gaze from the ground to the look at the dragons in front and behind him then smiled evilly. "Your pitiful attacks wont destroy me..." He growled as he brought his tail up thrusting it through the dragon on his back and threw the lifeless corpse in a four hundred foot arch over the waring clans behind him. He watched the dragons in front as he stood on his hind legs and continued with his evil grin. "The three of you will die in five seconds!" He roared giving the three dark soldiers a warning to take flight and avoid his next move. The black dragon formed a violet light in his chest then showed his frightening fangs as the three dark clan behind began to wonder what he was doing. Instantly Thoron spun around with impressive speed surprising the three dragons then shot an energy beam aimlessly at the enemy cutting one of the flying dragon's legs off making it crash. The dark dragons on the ground took flight in fear when the stranger used this hidden power then attempted to regroup finding out that matters just got worse for them.
The energy beam blazed through the sky making it very possible for every dragon on the ground to sight it. Thoron stood upright letting out a blood roar to the sky unleashing his Berserker Rage. The monster then launched himself into flight already decapitating one of the dragons with his wings and was already in pursuit with the fleeing dragons. The dark dragons split off left and right creating an equal diversion (2left 2right) to try and flank the black dragon. Thorondar chased the dragons flanking right and in no time at all, he was already on their tail. One of the soldiers smiled thinking that being bait was a clever idea until he looked back and saw that the half breed was on top of him. The giant got close enough that he bit the tip of soldier's tail off making the dragon panic and hurl toward the ground. The dragon slammed into the battle zone between Tara and Metrus and laid on his back looking up at the sky in fear as he saw the black dragon coming to finish him off. Thoron dropped in out of nowhere in between Metrus and Tara and began disemboweling the pour soldier with his sharp fangs in front of the two. In shear seconds he was finished then he arched his neck back and drove his snout into the soldier's chest. Not knowing that Tara was there probably watching Thoron pulled the heart out of the dragon's abdomen revealing the stretching arteries before they snapped like ropes back into the dead corpse. The berserker shifted his view to Tara on his right then smiled before he devoured the creature's heart and took off back into the skies never knowing that Metrus was there also.
The three dragons that were left saw the stranger and charged combining their flames to try and take him down. Thoron saw them and began to flap is wings faster and faster until he almost reached the speed of sound. As he neared closer, he wrapped his huge wings around his body like a armored cocoon barreling through the air at the three. The soldiers saw the massive projectile heading toward them and almost couldn't avoid it in time when they noticed it, when they avoided it Thoron continued to stay in this free fall killing several dragon that stood in his way as he neared the ground. In a split second before impact, he opened his wings and shot back into the sky and came back around to fight the evaders. This time he will kill all of them at once.

Luna awoke at dawn and contemplating where to go so she finally decided to go see her father, little did she know she would never make it. A week and a few days later she was flying over a town she thought was still neutral and decided to fly down for a bite to eat along with a short nap. She walked through the town with dragons whispering and pointing at her, but whenever she tried to ask what was going on they would shuffle away she didn't have a reason to read they're minds so she didn't. And was that a flash of red scales she saw? Luna shrugged it off and made her way to the heart of the town. Then she saw it, the fire-clan banners and a board with the most wanted of the fire-clan, and sitting right there the biggest of them all was a picture of her. She jumped to take off but what happened next was merley just a blur. First the earth shotup to grab ahold of her slamming her to the ground, her legs tail and neck pinned to the earth. As she was trying to regain her breath a bottle full of foul smelling liquid was shoved in her face, her eyelids felt heavy. The last thing she remembered was a bunch of blurred fireclan dragons gathered around her with a single earthclan youth, one of them talked," what do you think we will get for turning her in?" Then the world went black

Metrus' face went blank with fury when Thorondar landed between him and his opponent. He forced himself to handle the situation at hand before anything else, smoothing his features into an expression of triumph. The emotion was a half-bluff, but the gleam recalled into his eyes was very, wickedly real. "You can't even follow, can you?" Metrus murmured loudly in Tara's direction, his voice dropping to dangerously liquid levels. In actuality, he was fairly sure she could, but he was willing to gloat over even imagined advantages. Inspiration unfurled slowly and darkly in his mind, so at odds with the frenzied battle that raged only a wingspan away. "It hurts, doesn't it? To move?" He pressed on to put the force of his mind behind his words. "A shame. You'll have to stay here while I have a word with someone else I hate. Don't worry; the others know better than to kill you while I'm gone." "Stay. Wait. Do not have an attack anticipating my return." He scraped away the words of the commands, leaving only the weight behind them to writhe its way into her mind. Metrus opened his wings, their undersides stained an angry crimson. "I will return at my leisure, and then, I will finish you." He indulged in a moment of exposed fangs, then flapped into the air. "Be a good girl," he snarled.
------
Metrus raked boldly across the sky, by some fortune not encountering any other fire dragons along his way. "A word!" he shouted to the oafish giant who had so long plagued him.

Thoron felt an echo call out through the wind but he didn't pay any attention to it until he saw Metrus flying toward him. At this moment, he did not give a damn about Metrus but the three dragons he was fighting. The giant flew past the jeweled black dragon with unimaginable speed for his size almost clipping the full blood with his left wing. The berserker saw his prey in the distance trying to avoid his charge by splitting off left, right, and down but he was too quick. The giant followed the dark dragon going down and slammed into him with open jaws. Thoron had the dragon by the neck as the soldier tried to claw lose. The black dragon on the other hand clamped his jaws shut breaking the dark soldier's neck then letting go, watching as the dead corpse fall and land on a metal pike made by the fire clan. The berserker then shifted right surprising the dark dragon coming to exact revenge and slammed his right wing into the dragon's stomach, slicing it open with a long gnarly bladed spine from the ridge of his wing. The dragon died before it hit the blood stained dirt. Thoron saw his last attacker fleeing in terror as he was the last of the ten dragons that attempted to kill him. He was hot on the dragon's tail nearing ever closer to finish off the Metrus' squad.

Tara stood, unable to follow, even though she was fairly certain she wanted to. However, she remembered the other plan she had, and nothing was preventing her from executing that. And if the dark dragon had any sense in him left, he'll come back and do whatever to stop her. In fact, he told her to use it now, rather than later. She looked around and did a headcount. A good hundred dark dragons withing terminal range, many others would suffer severe burns, and all of her kin would be reinforced. Yes. Now was a good time. She ceased controlling the Nova and let it run freely. Within seconds, she looked more like fire elemental rather than a dragon. Then she stood on hid legs and fell down in a ground punching move. The magic holding the storming flames near her body dissipated and the concentrated fire erupted out in a dome of white-yellow fire. the firestorm went across the land fast, it was over within 15 seconds, leaving only ashes, somewhat farther even burnt bones, farther she could see some smoldering corpses, and her view horizon was covered in limping and screaming black figures. and all along the way, she could see fire dragons supercharged to various degree, going after those who remained. "Well? I'M WAITING!" she called out, deciding to win the shouting match, if she by some fluke couldn't win the physical one.

lunas eyes slowly opened,it felt like a ton of rocks had hit her head. she tried to move her head but her body was still sluggish. it was hard to see and most the light came of her own white scales. she smelled something sour and she looked around without moving her head and spotted a rotting carcase. after a little while she was able to get up shakily after many failed attempts. she walked over to a trough like indent on the floor, there was liquid inside it. she sniffed it, it was water. her mouth was as dry as sand. she quickly started drinking. it tasted of sulfur but she didn't care. she was getting flashes of what had happened. the posters, the ground reaching for her,the dragons, and that bottle of foul liquid always being shoved in her face, always in different places. she decided to get comfortable, she had a felling she would be here a while.

Frost was getting annoyed, they were headed back to the ice fortress, yeah this whole thing was helpful. But before he could follow further, he received a message from the ice elders. "Frost, can you hear us?" Frost held back a groan. "Unfortunately." He was no fan of mental messages. "Not the time Frost, we have a new mission for you. The attack we spoke of has not happened yet, but it will soon." Frost knew where this was headed. "I'm going to fire territory aren't I?" "Yes, to the Fire Fortress itself. You will find a good view point and observe every aspect of this assault. Then return and inform us of everything." "Why? What point is there in watching a battle that-" "Do not question why, just do!" They snapped and cut the connection. Frost didn't like this at all, but it seemed there was no point in questioning them. Taking a quick glance back at Vorun and Luna, he began his journey the the worst place an ice dragon could go. The land of fire. --------------------------------------- Hell, There was no other word to describe it. The fire territory was a rough and rocky place with ruthless heat, and being completely white was now a negative to stealth. Hunting was nearly impossible, Frost had barely got enough food to fight off. But despite all this, he had finally made it to the fire fortress. Well, at least close enough. He needed to find a point that would allow him to view the area, but not be seen himself or leave him in danger, no easy task out here. After a few unsuccessful hours he found something better, a spring. Frost figured a short drink break wouldn't hurt, but as he began to gulp down the water, he heard a voice from behind. "Hey hey, save some for me." Frost spun around to find himself eye to eye with an energy dragon. "What the? W-w-who are you?" The energy dragon brushed the question off. "Nobody. Just a simple scout." He pushed past frost and began getting a drink of his own. "Okay, then what are y-y-you doing here?" Frost asked. The energy dragon finished his drink and gave Frost a chuckle. "Same thing as you pal, getting ready for the show." Frost was stunned. "So you know about the-" "Dark clan assault? Ya we found out about a few days ago. Course I can't say I'm surprised you Ice guys are here as well." "Why's that?" "Same reason as us, find out who the winning team will be so we can get behind 'em." "What! No. The Ice c-c-clan as no intention in get-t-t-ting involved in this war!" Frost stated angrily. The energy dragon had a confused look on his face. "Wow, you really haven't figured it out have you? The whole neutrality thing is just a front. Once this war begins everyone will be choosing a team, but this battle will give us a preview of each sides strength and give our clans an advantage." "LIER!" "Really? Why else are you here then? To watch a good brawl?" Frost didn't have an answer. The energy dragon continued. "Face it, you're here because the greatest war in history is about to happen, and anyone who tries to avoid it will be destroyed." Frost hated how right this dragon was. The elders wanted him here so they would know who to throw their weight behind, because whichever of the clans won this, they would most likely go after the ones who didn't aid them after. Their conversation was ended when the roar of a dragoness shook the earth. "It's s-s-starting." Frost growled, he had forgotten to find a vantage point. The energy dragon seemed to know this, "Hey, follow me. I found this great hill not to far from here. You can see everything from it." Frost nodded and followed him to an elevated platform with large rocks piled around to form a small bunker. Frost sat down and watched as one of the greatest battles took place.

Briefly imbalanced by the turbulent wind of Thorondar's wings, Metrus didn't waste his time trying to hover. He dipped his head, closed his wings, and dove. A length above the scarred soil, he yanked his wings open and scooped up past the standing pikes, their tips hardened by flame. Metrus ripped a spike from the ground and surged upward, using the momentum from his fall to pull even with the big black dragon. He knew he'd seen something a moment before, and now he craned his neck to search the hide of the dragon above him. His opponent stroked his wings again with a sound like clattering stones, drawing closer to the shadow dragon he pursued. There! When the halfbood's wings were pulled back in a massive downstroke, a trickle of silver gleamed along the length of his neck like a ragged scar. Looks enough like one that I'll take a chance on it, he thought through the cloud of frustration that obscured his mind. Metrus brought his wings down abruptly and shot up past Thorondar's spined tail. He gripped the pike with both foreclaws, waiting again for the opening he needed to strike. The metallic glimmer came into view again and he twisted towards that narrow target, weapon outstretched and mindful of those bladelike wings.

The rushing wind then the thought of killing that dragon in the distance made it difficult to notice Metrus sneaking up on Thoron until he heard a mysteriously soothing feminine voice echo through his mind, "Look behind you!" Thoron lost concentration on the dark dragon in front then turned his head just slightly to find Metrus sneaking up on him. The black dragon ejected the mechanical blade on his tail and slashed it at Metrus then in the doing so trying to confuse the dark dragon he unleashed his huge gauntlet weapon and spun around in the air to face the dragon. "Why even try with that toothpick dark one! You are only going to anger me! Hmhm ha ha ha." Spoke the giant as he hovered there ready to strike with his gauntlet if Metrus were to charge.

"Oh, good. I was worried I'd have to slice your throat open to get your attention. Now that I've got it, I'd like to tell you two things. One, you are probably one of the most infuriatingly annoying creatures I've ever met, and two, I'd just love your assistance in killing two birds with one stone. And by birds I mean dragons. And by stone I mean—well, you'll see soon enough." Metrus met Thorondar's eyes, and slammed the full force of his mind against the stranger's, hoping he'd be strong enough to establish control for at least the few minutes he needed.

Thoron grunted when he felt a force rush into his mind and attempt to take over. He could do nothing as his Berserker Rage made him less cautious so everything began to blur. "You... fool! Let go of my mind or we will all die!" Grunted the giant then he heard the familiar voice call out through his mind after it was taken over by Metrus. "Awwwwwweeeeeeee FrrEEEDooommm! Now that your mind is forfeit you will witness the destruction I will create upon this land. This fool that wants you to do his biding will be the first to be... CONSUMED!" Growled the voice as it made a surging pain course through out Thoron's body awakening him for the brief second to warn his clueless foe. "Raaahhhhh, no don't... you will free him, you must stop NOOOWW!" He yelled in painful torment as he let go of his berserker powers instantly making him pass out from fatigue and fall into the skeleton infested lava lake below. The giant was unconscious as he descended then fell into the lake of lava, vanishing into the deep fire element bringing something else much worse then Scourge into the world.
OCC: Thoron has never acquired his ultra, until now.
