Dinara zipped in and threw the ice ball she had into the creatures jaws before they closed.

Corvus hissed and did a double take. "One, two, three, four, five? Oh, they're just coming out of the woodwork now, aren't they?" he groaned, watching as another skull was shattered by the ice bomb. A second sprite drifted from the rubble. "Hurry, seal him in this body with us so we can rip him to shreds!" it hissed before being silenced by a snap of Corvus's fingers. "Shut up!" he said. "I'm warning you!" His claws scraped the surface of the orb nervously. Struck with an idea, he pressed the large orb to his chest, the seething armour sprouting sinister claws that snatched and held the orb securely. At least he had both hands now. "What are you waiting for?" he yelled, striking Carakal. "Do something!" Carakal lumbered forwards, not even caring about the frozen necks that snapped off as it advanced on the young ones. Corvus snapped his fingers to repair the severed heads. Nothing happened. He snapped them again in frustration. The dark heart throbbed unhealthily. Its energy was fast running out. "No matter." said Corvus, signaling for Carakal to attack. Seven tails whipped out from behind Carakal's back, each tail a thorny serpent bent on squeezing the blood from its enemies.
((Seven tails to how many dragons?))

"What did it say?" Starlight asked. "Think it said something about sealing that thing in the hydra creature." Dinara responded. "And how are we suppose to do that?" "It said something about getting a name." Fireheart jumped in. They didn't have much more time to ponder the idea however, seeing as the seven tentacle like tails were now lashing out. "See if we can break another head to get that name." Starlight yelled as they scattered. The few ice dragons had now abandoned attacking the thing and were now concentrating on keeping the roof up which was now more clear blue ice then solid stone. Dinara flew back over to Oltyth. "Do you think you can do that thing again?" Meanwhile the trio of light dragons had regrouped and created a triangle. Multi tasking they surrounded themselves in a orb of protective light and sent out cutting lazers to chip and slice at anything that wasn't a ally.
(OOC: nohiki has given me permission to control his characters till he gets back in a few days. he's doing this in the hopes that this will all be done by the time he gets back.)

Oltyth nodded, leaping up to a platform he had pulled out of the wall, quickly jumping to another as the first one was smashed by one of Carakal's tails. "Don't you think," he called to Dinara, "that there might be a specific skull to seal him in?" He grunted as he landed on the next shelf of stone, his claws barely finding a grip. "Or not." He pulled himself completely onto the ledge, placing a hand against the wall for balance. His other hand extended, he focused on the earth within Carakal's body until his own golden eyes glowed with a light identical to that of the Heart at his throat. With a grating sound, the jaws of the remaining heads snapped open, although Oltyth's shoulders shook with the effort of maintaining such a state.

Dinara made two more ice bombs. One hit home, one missed and exploded on the oposite wall. "That was my last one." She looked down at her chest and took out the ice heart. "And I think the Ice Elemental Heart has had it." she said as it flickered out, now only a piece of ice, now chipping away at the edges. Dinara put it back in it place beside the water heart. "Give us a NAME." She yelled at the creature. The trio of light dragons finally cracked through two of the 4 remaining skulls.

"Don't you even dare!" bellowed Corvus, snapping his fingers furiously. The sprites shrank back and tried to hide in ruined skulls. "Can't give you a direct answer." "That's against the rules." "Free our siblings!" pleaded one of the sprites, pointing to the frozen heads. "Silence!" Corvus yelled. "Don't make me do something you'll all regret." he warned, eyes flashing. The central head's eyes flashed as well, then flickered, noticing Oltyth. An orb of darkness gathered in its mouth, flying at the young dragon.

Oltyth surged off the platform, the orb crashing into the wall in a splash of shadows. He twisted in midair, the rock floor dipping beneath his forepaws for a softer landing. As soon as he hit the ground, he shot off in a dusty brown streak, leaping towards Carakal's feet. He pulled up short, sliding to a near-stop in the dust-coated remains of a street. At his gesture, the two ruined buildings on either side of him twisted slightly, jagged chunks of stone sliding out from their sides. The earth dragon sprang between the towers, alternating sides with each leap. "Someone find a way to sever the central head! I'll take care of the frozen ones!" he cried, stone slabs melting back into their structures. Reaching, Oltyth found a hold on the top of the spire and flung himself into the air, diving towards one of the ice-coated skulls lying on the ground. He brought both his hands in front of him, earth energy building between his palms.

Fireheart broke away from his family at the same time Dinara darted forward, both heading for the middle head. Fireheart threw a ball of light followed by a fireball. Meanwhile Dinara sent a swirling combination of water and ice, twisting around each other as they quickly advanced for the central head. "What are you doing?" Sol'Lux hissed to Starlight, who was getting closer to the second ice encased head. "They seam sincere. I'm going to get that other head." "Don't. It could all be a trick." "And then we can easily recapture them." Without any more argument Starlight controlled the ice to seep into the cracks of the scull and it broke apart.

The earth dragon landed heavily on the icy skull, flinging himself forward and away following impact. The frozen bone cracked under his claws, shattering a moment later and sending razor-sharp splinters flying. Oltyth retreated another few steps, his arm in front of his face for protection.

"Wow, this has rapidly escalated to a contest!" said Sol'Lux and went for another head. Instead of breaking it, she broke it off the spine and it started falling. She flown under it and pushed up, holding it on her shoulders and casting a spellblock on it to prevent it to from being reattached. "Hey! You! In the black hides! Come have some!" she said and tossed the skull on Corvus. (OOC: Here's your skull, Morty, don't break it! )

"Excellent!" said one of the sprites, the six of them gathering in the air above the massive Carakal. "We may not be able to speak his name aloud, but nothing says we can't give you a hint!" "Don't speak a word, or I'll--!" Corvus was silenced by a large skull falling on him. "Erp." "You're not in charge anymore, buster." said the sprite, and all six snapped their fingers, the heads they had been trapped in lunging at Corvus and pinning him. "Let's begin." The first sprite spoke up, "My first is a vast body of water with the taste of tears." "My second is a french word, and composes the first." "My third goes as such, "If I am, and he is, what are you?" "My fourth is the roman numeral 5." "My fifth is the name for a female sheep." "My sixth is... my sixth is the sound a serpent makes." "Oh, clever, aren't you." "Shut up." "And my whole is the name of he who feasts on the dead.'" The sprites shuffled around expectantly. "Well? Come on, we find it just as tedious as you do, but rules are rules."

Fireheart looked at Sol'Lux. He didn't have a clue. Sol'Lux shrugged: "Makes no sense. Hey, you, is your name NONSENSE?" she barked at the skull where Corvus once stood.

Oltyth took a few steps forward, looking up at the sprites. "The first one," he murmured. "It's the sea, isn't it? The first letter is 'C'." He looked back up over his shoulder at the other dragons for some sign of support.

Dinara shrugged, "Makes sense." Then she paused. "Then I guess that makes the second O. The first is sea, what's in the sea? Water. Dad taught me some words in different languages. Water is "Eau"."

Corvus struggled against the bony jaws that now pinned him. "I'm not going to be trapped in here again!" The sprites ignored him. "Keep at it!" they encouraged the dragons.
