Phaedrus looked at the old light dragon. When their eyes met, it looked like they were having a staring contest. Several of the wizards bumped into the dragon as it stopped suddenly. Then she roared and a pretty rainbow beam of light shot into the sky before the wizards calmed the dragon down.
"Sure. Find her and we'll go right away. Until then we can't do much for her. She made a decision to go on her own so i think she already had a *gasp*" Phoenicia stopped in surprise. "Scratch that, somebody just sent the beacon!" she said, almost jumping in joy. She has taught her younglings how to summon her in distress, and it just happened. She snapped her fingers. "Taranis, get dad. Ciro, maps of the continent please. Field trip!" she ordered, remembering the time she was herself captured by the wizards to help them set her mother free.

"Let's go then!" said Ciro, and the map was in his hands. "Where do you think it came from? Is it far?" he asked, nervous. He couldn't imagine their mother would actually bring them with her into such dangerous enemy territory. Then again, she had let them loose on the island 'unsupervised' for several days.
Raurik grunted and diverted his attention when Sol'Lux began to roar. "Get that she-serpent under control, you lot! If she escapes it's on all of your heads, do you understand?" he growled, hand reaching for his bolas, cowing the group of hunters into resuming their actions.

"Around here." Phoenicia pointed at the map. "What is she thinking? That's the enemy's heart. Unless... she wouldn't... right?" she asked, looking at Ciro quizzically. "Anyway, aerial attack is out of question. They'll be on us like ants on honey. Cloak will also not work, i think they learned how we roll." she shook her head. "We could burn them alive, but not without knowing where Tea and Sol are.... RRRRRRH, think!" she growled, banging her head with a fist.

"Heheh, ya." Zephyr had to smile. "While I trained I got into a few scrapes. I new a little bit from that time I helped her out, but I still have to go to her every once and a while. She relocated a bit north east from her last cave." He got up and started to walk in Dinara's direction, changing his voice to a creaky parody of Ivy's, "If I'm going to be saught after and pestered every other day I might as well make it easier for people to find me. There's no need for them to bother all the other creatures in the forest." Then he bounded through the tree's. ------- Dinara followed Zephyr into the earth elemented cave. "Iiivy!" She called. "There's no need to yell, I can hear you just fine from back here." "Are you checking your stores?" "Indeed I am, why?" Ivy snaked her head around the corner in the back. Dinara could only see the outline of it, but Ivy's yellow eyes were as clear as day."There's a problem... the gyradra's, their back. And considering the wizards have taken over the race practically I'm assuming their back as well." Ivy hissed and Zephyr started, he hadn't expected that. "I came across quite a few wandering about at one of the sisters and traveled by stream as quick as I could down here. You were the only one I knew who was close enough to warn. I've been kind of been out of touch lately." "Last I heard Gorn, Pheonicia and their younglings are on the other side of Energy Peak. Head there and warn them and tell any dragon you come across. The more people that know the better." Ivy whipped her head back in. As Dinara turned to leave a hord of little long legged lizards swarmed out of the cave carrying something. As the last few scattered Dinara noticed they were made of rock. "Why are you still here? Get going!" Ivy had come back around the corner, this time with a satchel, ready to head out. "We're going!" Dinara yelped. She had forgoten how frightening Ivy could be when in the mood. ---- AB-1:3 shifted up in a branch, cocking it's head, chirping quietly to itself. It was somewhat... content. The avian creature had heard him earlier and so it had to have been eliminated but then some of the target race came out and did killed the creature for it. No amunition wasted and no security leaks. Afterwards it tracked the targets, watching, that's what it was sent to do after all. And now from what he can understand of their language and their postures it would seem like they were preparing for combat. But not with them, with some other creatures. AB didn't think to far into the matter, that was not its objective, but it did think it promising. From the murmur in the back of AB's concious it was apparent that the other dozen had landed with the minal loss of two. That still left many to scout and gather data to be processed when the Countess came to evaluate the mission, thus far. The group them split. AB made note of the enclosure they had exited, it seemed to hold some great significance. It then followed the others from a far distance back out of any scanners range, using infared to track them. The events that would follow may hold great value. (ooc: by sisters I mean Three Sisters dragon-essence.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=55&page=1 )

Taranis nodded to his mother and ran off to where he saw his dad go, he ran into Gorn on the way. "Hey dad, mom was looking for you, she says there was some sort of beacon." Gorn's eyes lit up. "Really? Quick where is your mom and Ciro?" "Back at the cave." Gorn grabbed Taranis and teleported back to the cave. "Alright, what do you got?" He said setting Taranis down.

"Tea's beacon in this general area." she said and pointed t the map. "We need a way to get them outta there, but i don't see how. that place is a rocky hill, the only way that seems is from air, and that would be a bloodbath." she growled, hitting the table.

"Sounds like you already know of the wizard threat." Dinara poked her head in. "I came charging here, dragging idiots, for nothing." "I already said we weren't idiots, and that I could teleport us here." Zephyr's voice called from behind her. "You couldn't jump a river. Very few have the energy and concentration to do it and most of them are here." Dinara called back over her shoulder. "I could with the energy from Energy Peak." "And where would you jump genious? You've never been here." There was no come back to that, instead grumbling floated in. Dinara turned back to look at the hosts inside, her eyes saying, "See, idiots." The staff was now around her neck clipped on either side by a chain. Dinara's smile didn't change, but the look in her eyes did. "I'm with you this time 'round. What do you need." By this point Zephyr had slunk in to sit beside the ice dragoness. "What about asking what's going on first?"

"Hello. What made you come this far south?" said Phoenicia, very surprised. No only to see Dinara period, but to see her in such a mood. What on the world did Fireheart see on her? she asked herself, Then again, look who did Gorn fell in love with. she thought, supressing a smile on her face. "Well i'm missing my Mother and my Daughter to the wizards and i don't seem to have any idea how to get them back, so feel free to chip in with ideas now that you're all here." she said, frustration apparent from her voice, and passed the map.

"The wizards. Well actually the gyradra's massing at the sisters, but I guess the wizards were close at hand and now you've confermed it." Dinara explained, taking the map, "I went to tell Ivy and she sent me here." She looked at it. "Maybe wash them out? If that doesn't work then it might still supply a distraction... ooooorrr...." Dinara shook her head and gave the map back, "Nah, that's it, that's all I can think of."

"What if we went underground?" Taranis suggested. "Good idea, but we don't really have any earth dragons or tunnel experts at the moment." Gorn said. "I could do it. I use my fire magic to summon magma from the ground, once it breaks through the ground it will have made a tunnel straight to a river of it which i could use to continue tunneling. No earth magic required." Taranis explained. ".....Thats not a bad idea. Did you just think of that?" Gorn asked. "I may have already tried it a few times." Taranis replied with a smile. "Well, what do you think?" Gorn asked the others.

"Well that scenario doesn't preserve the hostages either." growled Phoenicia. "And what did you say? They're already here? Well that's just @#$%^& * great!" she whined, seeing as an attack home will thwart with any rescue they could muster. Then she heard what Taranis said. "How good is your aim?" she asked, "Because if you burn anything major that isn't Sol'Lux or Tea that would be great too. Yeah, that might work, assuming they don't level the homeland. Well, you're the ones with the idea. What if We split forces? I'll stay here and defend while you get them and then jsut call for a portal home? If they have majority of their force here, you might even be able to get out of there on your own." ---------- "So, are you ready?" said the wizard in red. "Be right there." replied Phaedrus and his figure vanished in blue mist, only to appear on dragon essence second later. "Your unit." said even lower apprentice than he was. "Excellent. Get them ready, for soon this land will be ours."

"Ooor..." said Ciro, having been quiet up to this point. "We could use that." he said, pointing to the drill Gorn had been working on.

"Ciro i would love to, but that thing still ain't finished. I mean if we had a few days i could get it up and running, but we don't." Gorn explained to Ciro. "Now if SOMEONE had let me work on more it probably would have been ready." He thought glancing at Phoenicia.

"Aw.." Ciro hung his head. "Are you sure you're gonna be able to move all that rock, Ri?" he asked dubiously. He didn't want to discredit his brother but admittedly, the young fire dragon hadn't evidenced much of a propensity for magic. "I mean, that's a LOT of rock we're talking here..."

"I don't know, but i have to try." Taranis replied with confidence in his voice. "The longer we wait the more time they have to do, whatever they want. Now just point me in the direction of the wiz camp and ill take a straight path there."
